very hot, even at 400W, down from 400 watts to 800 watts Hi, readily accessible andeasy to use in the upper right, warms up very quickly about 1 minute and a half, about 1 and a half pounds, about 14 cm wide 13 inches by 4 inches thick, fanless, silentsuper, as announced, the last hope, will buy another soon, do not breathe oxygen,does not feel good, no buzzing or sizzle, I suggest keeping the objects in front andmaybe 2 feet 3 inches on the articles [on the back and sides], had a couple of days.

UPDATE: more than a year, the stove is excellent.
[bought a second, which still works, even after a year!]
just bought my fourth in February 2009 .. .. super hard. "

This is a good deal. Mine has worked fine for the 8 months or so I have had it. I like quartz heaters for when I am working in one place, like at the computer. They don't heat the room air very well--they only heat what they are pointed at. This one has 2 heat settings, and the low setting is 400 watts, which is lower than other brands. I keep it 3 feet away and it keeps me warm for 4-5 cents an hour. There is no fan--something almost all the others have. I like this. The unit works silently.

Two things to consider: The safety switch on the bottom is a push button that turns off the heater if it falls over. It only needs to be extended very slightly, however, to break the circuit. This means that if it is on an uneven surface the heater may not come on. I wrapped a little tape on mine to make the plunger a bit longer so it would sit on an uneven stool. Make sure if you do this you do not defeat the switch. It is there for a reason.

Also, the control wheel on the side cannot be read from in front of the heater (Design team!). I used a magic marker on the edge of the wheel: dash, double dash, and zero--for low, high and off.

Great heater - quiet and effective.

This is a great stove! We used to heat the living room of our campers. The living area is approximately 26 'x 10' with normal ceiling heights. We tried a few different strengths compact, but they were too small to heat the room and too noisy. We had a resistance of about four months. Since we stay in cooler climates, we used almost every night (one night).
The best features of this heater  are: - It's easy! Really! We tried a lot of resistance in our camper and the house over the years and tend to be so strong. The model we've tested before buying Lasko was so noisy that we had to turn the TV volume to hear about it. Lasko This seems to be as quiet as a fan could be.
- It has an automatic thermostat can be adjusted. This model cars with a value higher or lower. The high / low profile are controlled by a thermostat. Simply choose the more or less hot air. :) The automatic can adjust the thermostat to the desired temperature. It seems quite "accurate". In other words, the displayed temperature is within 3-4 degrees of other thermometers around the room.Once you set the thermostat, the heating cycles on / off, just as you would expect.This is a great way to keep the room at the desired temperature. We use this mode each night.
- It fluctuates. This sounds like a stupid feature in the list, but it makes a big difference in heating a room. The heaters  that we had no previous swing. Therefore, the area in front of the oven is heated, but the rest of the room was not. The swing really helps transfer heat into the room so that you do not create hot spots and cold. We always turn on the swing to heat the room. They are sold on this basis and not buy another heater in the future if it oscillates.
- Has a remote control. The only thing that could make it better is if you could see the settings for the remote instead of having to watch the stovetop. But if they did, the costs will increase. So I'm happy to see the price of this remote machine.
There are a couple of negatives on the stove: - For me it is annoying beeps for each environment is changed. This can be a problem if you intend to use it in room settings and change while someone sleeps. The tone is very obvious when you want to change the thermostat. When you unplug the heater , which is reset to 75 degrees. So if you want, then set at 60 degrees, you will hear LOUD 15 acoustic signals. Turn it - bip. Select the range - beep. Change to automatic - beep. Decide on the temperature of 3 degrees at night - beep, beep, beep ... and your partner is now awake! You get the idea. :) I guess the beep Lasko designed so that you know something has changed while you click the remote. But it's so hard to make it softer or or give an option to disable it.
- There is no "Fan Only" setting. It seems that most of the warming that I bought in the past are just the fan setting. I do not know why it does not work. Since you have great unit sitting in your room, it would be nice if it could be used to circulate the air during the day when it is warmer, and then heat at night, when temperatures dropped. Since we use this heater  in our motorhome, it is obvious to me since we need space for heating and a fan. Oh, well.
In general, we love this heater  and I buy it again.

I found that the

iheater generally does what it claims to do, except for the size of the room it is supposed to heat . We used it exclusively in our basement rec room and it had to struggle to get the room tempurature over 70 degrees running on high. Outside tempurature was normally in the mid thirties to the mid-forties. It ran very quietly, attractive and the remote system is great. The iheater did not get hot, as advertised. It would probably work great in a smaller room such as a bedroom.

This sounds like the best speaker of the iheater that I read. I am very interested in a safe, comfortable and efficient heating for my dog room. It has a door and it's very cold outside for them. But I do not want something that could burn. Most comments infrared heating has been very disappointing. I was first exposed to this type of heating stove Amish with ads that have flooded the magazines and brochures by mail. I like the look of wood quality and safety features and heat production. I do not believe any hype in the lower heating bills. But this is not my reason to get one or the other. I just want to heat a room that has always been rather cold. And that's the size of a bedroom.Sounds like this water iheater are great! I can not wait to get one, especially now that I have read rave reviews about it.
The iheater sounds bad for Amish crafts. I read some people get bad advice nailed heaters aloud and not the heat that is advertised. Amish and the media Edenpure about 2.5 stars. So, I look around the stove and Dr. was a pleasure for the crowd.
I wonder if the stove is "light" brighter than the other cities. I wonder if my dogs are afraid or keep them awake. I think I got used to it. Sounds like some are so vivid that are painful to the eyes. I was wondering this factor with this particular model. Maybe someone can develop it.

iHeater IH-1500 Quartz Infrared Heater Best Value on Amazon

I am very pleased with this product. It lives up to all they say about it, with possibly one exception. It costs more than a a day to run. It did raise my electric bill considerably, but it lowered my gas bill as well. I've given it one less star than top rating because dealers are misrepresenting the cost to operate.

What is so great is that I was much more comfortable running this heater. It keeps my whole home (granted, a small home - 1100 sq feet) warm. It is such a comfortable, even heat. Not like my forced air furnace which makes the room either too hot or too cold about 50% of the time. And the heat is even throughout the house, unlike the furnace where some rooms are too warm and some too cold. I don't feel the drafts as much, the air isn't dry and I don't have to run a humidifier. My furnace rarely kicks in.

It is hard to believe that a small compact unit can do such a big job - and do it safely. Only the small output area gets hot. Having a remote and being easily programmable is a definite plus also.

I am so pleased I made this purchase.

This is a hard working iheater. It warms up my whole house and the best thing is it heats the same from the ceiling to floor. No cold spots. I have tried the so called twice the price iheaters like this and they don't put out near as much heat as this one does. Plus my electric bill came today and it only went up .. It has been very cold and I have been nice and warm thanks to this wonderful iheater. It keeps my bedroom, Kitchen, Bathroom and den nice and warm. I thought about buying a nother one but I don't need one this one does the job. Although I want to buy one for my daughter to keep my grandson nice and warm and so it want dry out his little nose when he has a cold. That is another good thing about this iheater it doesn't dry out the air. I highly recomened this to all my friends and family.
