Still, it might make you secure enough.&lt;br /&gt;
The computer your kids use to download and play computer games and surf sites on MySpace and similar social sites, might not have a lot of valuable data on it. It probably would not attract the most competent or determined thieves. For that machine you could get your computer security free.&lt;br /&gt;
For the computer you use for paying bills and business, you would probably want to "harden" your security defenses. Put in both a hardware firewall and a software firewall, get world-class anti spyware software and set up a "data safe" for sensitive records.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;li&gt;It limits it to email&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Calling anything unsolicited creates vagueness&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;Even though all the above things may be true, there are several more things about spam that seem far more annoying.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;First: Spam doesn't have to be commercial to be a nuisance.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Second: Unsolicited commercialism is so widespread that you can't avoid it by just changing websites.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Third: A lot of people give out their email address one day and don't understand why they get email the next day from that website. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;Also what if Bill Gates decided to give $10,000 to the next 20 people who opened an email from him. That would be unsolicited, but who would care. (what if your spam filter tossed it out).On the other hand there are people who will claim to be giving away money when they only want your bank account #. Don't give it to them.&lt;br /&gt;
Even if all the above were acceptable, what is it about spam that really, really gets your dander up? Isn't it the untruth. Isn't it the out and out deception involved? If all email were limited to truthful advertising and genuine value, wouldn't that be the solution?&lt;br /&gt;
Think about it, only offers of genuine value and truthful claims come to your inbox. Then we'd all have to make choices that (whichever choice you made) moved us forward.&lt;br /&gt;
Of course, there are a few things we should do to protect ourselves from problems.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;don't open unexpected attachments&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;don't sign up for every get rich quick scheme you see&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;remember that many, many online entrepreneurs will take your money and run.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;MLM (Muti-Level Marketing) stands for Millions Lost to Management&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;There probably isn't an absolute solution to spam. What is spam to one person is a god send to the next. Perhaps a national preference list would be better than a no-send list.The one thing that will never change is human nature. If there is a real solution to spam it's probably learning to deal with it defensively. It's more than a little bit like driving a car. If you look for a great domain name for very long you will learn how rare they are. Trying to find a one word dot com is a futile effort. The only exception to that is the occasional name that someone gives up. The problem with that is you must search a list of thousands (or tens of thousands) to find one and of course you must get there ahead of the next person. If you just have to have a one word dot com, be ready to shell out thousands or tens of thousands of dollars.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Then there are the dot net, us, cc, org and biz. Generally if you checked a dot com a few years ago you could find the net, org or biz equivalent. Not so anymore. Besides, the only one of these related to business is biz.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So why am I writing this you ask. First, though, think about it for a bit. I did that and realized it would be (is) great to have stockpick.free, camera.video, poem.love, game.video and loan.travel. Are you beginning to see what I mean? Don't you agree that these are somewhat better than allthefreeebooksyouwant.com or stopheretogetaloan.com.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The point being made here is "type in traffic" (people who go online and just type what they want in the browser). You could wait for years for someone to go to the internet and type in one of those dot coms.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Think again, though, about how many will be looking for toy.free or camera.video. What would it be worth to you to have 30 or a hundred or a thousand people searching for a video camera typing your name into their browser? Pretty obvious now, huh.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I told you not to wretch, now I'll tell you why. There is a wesite where you can get these tlds, and there are lots of them. They are at new.net. When you finish reading here go and see for yourself, but let me tell you two more things.&lt;br /&gt;

1. You need to download a plugin to view these sites (very easy)&lt;br /&gt;

1. Disk Cleanup- Windows has a built in program to help remove unneeded files. When you go online, your computer stores copies of web pages you visit. Various other temporary pages are created when you're online (also, some when you're offline). Over time these files accumulate and take up space on the hard drive that you may reclaim. This program finds them and other temporary files so you may delete them. To use it , go to- Start-&amp;gt; All Programs-&amp;gt;accessories-&amp;gt;system tools-&amp;gt;disk cleanup Click on 'disk cleanup' and follow the screens. It's a bit slow, so be patient. On the last screen you may choose which actions to take. I usually 'don't' ask to have files compressed.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2. Anti virus and Spyware- Viruses are mini programs that can damage your computer and spread to other computers in your network. Spyware is software that is downloaded to your computer by sneaky people that may then use that software to spy on your activities. There is a free download called 'windows defender' at the Microsoft website which handles anti-virus and anti-spyware chores. Just go to the site and do a search for 'windows defender'.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3. Registry Repair- Windows has a file called the 'Registry' that keeps track of many things for the system. It creates data to help keep the program organized. The problem is that it can get cluttered and bog down the system. The solution is another free download at clarysoft.com called appropriately 'Registry Repair'. This is perhaps the most important chore for computer health.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4. Uninstalling Programs- Many people (most) are software junkies and are always installing some new program. This is one of the things that clutters the registry (noted in step 4). Sooner or later some of these programs will need to be uninstalled. The safest and best way to do that for your computer is to go to Start-&amp;gt; control panel-&amp;gt; Add or Remove Programs&lt;br /&gt;
Then follow the steps for safe removal of software.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Using these tools and programs will make your computer experience easier, faster, more enjoyable and will save you hundreds of dollars which is what we all should be into these days.&lt;br /&gt;

As with most tags there is an opening tag &amp;lt; table &amp;gt; and a closing tag &amp;lt; /table &amp;gt; . The table is made up of cells and the cells are created in rows and columns (sensible, huh). The most basic table you may make is the following.&lt;br /&gt;

We pick up here with the knowledge of how to create a link on a web page. If you need a refresher, this is a complete web page when saved with a .html ending.&lt;br /&gt;

The file 'anotherpage.html' is where your visitor will go when they click on 'click here'. The &amp;lt; /a &amp;gt; just tells the browser that this is the end of this tag.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Websites&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Now, 'anotherpage.html' is a page in your website, but what if you want to let your visitors go to another website? All you need to do is put a web address where the web page was. For instance, instead of 'anotherpage.html' you could put the web address for google.com where the page name was and then when the visitor clicks on 'click here' they will go to google. It would look like this-&lt;br /&gt;

If you remember, we said you could open a new page from text or an image. Here is some code to make an image a link to a new page (or website). It would look similar to this-&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt; a href="http://www.google.com" &amp;gt; &amp;lt; img src="someimage.jpg &amp;gt; &amp;lt; /a &amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For this to work, 'someimage.jpg' must be in the same folder. If you want to link from an image in a different folder, use the web address like this-&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt; a href="http://www.google.com" &amp;gt; &amp;lt; img src="http://mywebsite/images/someimage.jpg &amp;gt; &amp;lt; /a &amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This would allow you to use an image in the 'images' folder to link from.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
That is not all you can do with images. There is a concept called an 'image map'. You may use certain areas of an image to link to one page and another area to link to a different page. Perhaps you've seen websites with a map and you click on different states or countries and are sent to different pages. When you're making web pages, sooner or later you'll want to send your viewer to another page (or another part of the same page). Your tool to accomplish this is the &lt;b&gt;a /a&lt;/b&gt; tag. The basic tag includes the destination page, letters (or an image) for the user to click and an end tag (brackets go around the letters in bold). &lt;b&gt;a href="destination.html" &lt;/b&gt;click here&lt;b&gt; /a&lt;/b&gt; 'destination.html' is where your visitor will be sent and 'click here' is what your visitor will see.&lt;br /&gt;
You may need to study that a little because I know it can be confusing at first. There are three parts-&lt;br /&gt;
-- the opening tag-- &lt;b&gt;a href="somewhere.html"&lt;/b&gt; (substitute the name of your destination page)&lt;br /&gt;
-- the letters (or image) the user will click- 'click here' (often used but not considered good form)&lt;br /&gt;
-- the closing tag-- &lt;b&gt;/a&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
If you have a basic web page created, make a duplicate (save it as &lt;b&gt;two.html&lt;/b&gt; and put some other text between the body tags). Then create an &lt;b&gt;a&lt;/b&gt; tag for it. If you don't already have a basic page, copy the code above to notepad (or any simple word processor) put brackets around each group of letters and save it as &lt;b&gt;one.html&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
OK, Here we go. Open one.html (or your basic page) in notepad (or any basic word processor).&lt;br /&gt;
Between the &lt;b&gt;body&lt;/b&gt; tags (all on one line) put the following--&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;a href="two.html"&lt;/b&gt; go to two &lt;b&gt;/a&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
With brackets around the parts that are in bold type. Then save this. Now when you open (double click) one.html, it will open in the browser and you will see the words "go to two". When you click on those words, your new page (two.html) will open in the browser (if you didn't put anything between the body tags it will be blank). Then if you click the browser 'back' button you'll go back to page one.&lt;br /&gt;
Congratulations. Cool, huh. If it doesn't work the first time, go back and study the code a little more. The W3C Web service definition encompasses many different systems, but in common usage the term refers to client and server that communicate using some types of messages that follow the SOAP standard. The latter is not a requirement of a SOAP endpoint, but it is a prerequisite for automated client-side code generation in many Java and .Net OAP frameworks (frameworks such as Spring and Apache CFX being notable exceptions). Some industry organizations, such as the WS-I mandate both SOAP and WSDL in their definition of a Web service.&lt;br /&gt;
A new outline of web site design proceeds to use of web applications services more and more. The target of this article is to show some possibilities of their usage. Usually, services providing content for web pages are included into their code. The integration of other sources is possible in a few different ways:&lt;br /&gt;
• by i-Frame (Inline frame) &lt;br /&gt;
• By Using Framesets &lt;br /&gt;
• by Using Ajax &lt;br /&gt;
• and using server technologies&lt;br /&gt;

Inline-frame&lt;br /&gt;
The integration by using the inline frame i-frame technology is quite easy and does not require much special knowledge. A webmaster (or an editor) only needs to know where to include the content, the expected size and the URL.&lt;br /&gt;
Frameset&lt;br /&gt;
Framesets should be used only when it is not possible to do it the other way. Frames are necessary in some of internet applications, because they lower data flows' volume. A good example of such an application is an internet chat. In spite of that, there are AJAX techniques, which are able to avoid the use of framesets.&lt;br /&gt;
AJAX&lt;br /&gt;
AJAX and JavaScript technology is one of the most modern ways how to enrich a functionality of web applications. The term AJAX for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML has been used for the first time on February 2005, though JavaScript had supported asynchronous requests already since 2004.&lt;br /&gt;
AJAX uses XML Http Request object (XHR) for remote calls for data. It is used in some well known services like Goggle's Gmail, Mambo, Goggle Maps, Windows Live's Virtual Earth or the Map Quest. Unfortunately this technology has a lot of versions (like HTML) and therefore there were attempts to standardize it's functionality and many projects supporting object-like look of JavaScript like Prototype's or ASP.net AJAX had arised.&lt;br /&gt;
This technology has one security-based restriction against iframe or framesets. That is an unavailability of pages (data) not located at the same web server (or even in the same URL path).&lt;br /&gt;
Server technologies&lt;br /&gt;
Restriction of AJAX still can be suppressed by the use of server-side techniques. Server programming languages can read remote web pages too. &lt;br /&gt;
ASP Example:&lt;br /&gt;
In combination of server-side and client-side methods, there is a chance for building interactive web sites rich in user supporting elements.&lt;br /&gt;
With a server programming interaction, several web application services have been prepared. We would like to present some of our own solutions.&lt;br /&gt;
Examples of services for web sites:&lt;br /&gt;
• a short message service support &lt;br /&gt;
• a meteorological forecast &lt;br /&gt;
• calendar services &lt;br /&gt;
• rss feeds&lt;br /&gt;
RSS feeds:&lt;br /&gt;
The RSS service has four different versions up to now. These are versions 0.9, 0.9x, 1.0 and 2.0. Every version has its own specifics, but all of them are based on XML. The 1.0 version is applied using RDF. The simplest versions for developers are 0.9x and 2.0. Those are using a light XML code and are the easiest to understand.&lt;br /&gt;
Syndication has different types of use, but always it is connected with some types of readers. An ASP file is very much similar as an HTML file. An ASP file can enclose text, XML, HTML and also scripts. Using scripts in an ASP file are carried out an executed on the server. An ASP file has the extension as .asp. This extension helps to identify the file that it is an ASP file. An ASP file slightly differs from an HTML file and the major differences are,&lt;br /&gt;

Simply connecting to the internet is fraught with dangers as&lt;br /&gt;
you instantly expose your data and personal information to&lt;br /&gt;
Hackers, Identity Thieves, Viruses, Worms, and Data Mining&lt;br /&gt;
Spyware.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Do ensure that you have a Firewall (included in Windows XP),&lt;br /&gt;
actually turned on, and that you have an effective Anti-Virus&lt;br /&gt;
program. Personally I recommend AVG which is free because in&lt;br /&gt;
speaking with quite a few knowledgeable people who are involved&lt;br /&gt;
in setting up networks, they say that AVG is equally as good as&lt;br /&gt;
most of the ‘Paid For’ software out there.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If you are ‘new’ to the internet, or even generally to computers,&lt;br /&gt;
I have five tips to share with you around the subject of email,&lt;br /&gt;
which, could help protect you from having your computer actually&lt;br /&gt;
taken over by a hacker, or from credit card fraud or identity&lt;br /&gt;
theft.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Your Email Inbox&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A lot of people have their Outlook set up to list emails on one&lt;br /&gt;
side, while having an auto opening reading pane on the other.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This is fine if you are hosting with a good company such as 1&amp;amp;1&lt;br /&gt;
or some of the other top companies which provide a pre-inbox&lt;br /&gt;
screening service to delete threats, and you have a great&lt;br /&gt;
anti-virus program. However advice is it should be turned off.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Why?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Because the nastier side of human nature is always developing&lt;br /&gt;
new threats, and the anti-virus software is usually updated&lt;br /&gt;
after a new threat emerges. The email which has just landed&lt;br /&gt;
in your inbox could contain some new dangerous code, and your&lt;br /&gt;
computer has just automatically opened it for you. In addition,&lt;br /&gt;
it is advisable to turn off auto picture downloading, as some&lt;br /&gt;
spammers monitor email addresses to see if there is a response&lt;br /&gt;
download of the attachment they send out, thus confirming that&lt;br /&gt;
the spammed email address is a valid one.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Go to ‘View/Reading Pane’ in the Outlook Menu to disable the&lt;br /&gt;
message viewing pane&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Go to ‘Tools/Options/Security/Change Automatic Download Settings’&lt;br /&gt;
to disable the pictures&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Look Carefully At Your Email&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Be careful what you respond to. Carefully check the email&lt;br /&gt;
thoroughly before you do anything. Don’t respond to emails&lt;br /&gt;
purporting to be from your Credit Card Company, Bank, or other&lt;br /&gt;
Financial Company which ask for personally identifiable&lt;br /&gt;
information such as passwords, or account information.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
These emails may look exactly like the ‘real’ email sent out by&lt;br /&gt;
that firm. I joined PayPal, and the following day I received&lt;br /&gt;
an email saying my account was unconfirmed would be deleted if&lt;br /&gt;
I didn’t confirm, and then it asked to put my account email and&lt;br /&gt;
password in the box.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This email was exactly like the real PayPal site. Luckily I&lt;br /&gt;
checked it with PayPal and didn’t respond, and that was only&lt;br /&gt;
because the day before I had read such a warning.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It’s easy to be scammed into providing crucial financial or&lt;br /&gt;
private contact information which leaves you vulnerable to&lt;br /&gt;
credit card theft, identity theft, or even fraud. If in doubt,&lt;br /&gt;
go get the contact number for the company from your statement&lt;br /&gt;
and ring them. Never use a contact number or contact details&lt;br /&gt;
from such an email.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It’s Ok, It’s From A Friend. That’s Got To Be Safe, Hasn’t It?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
That’s a common assumption to make, but it isn’t always correct!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This email might have been sent because your friend has been the&lt;br /&gt;
unwilling victim of a worm or virus which blasts out emails to&lt;br /&gt;
everyone on their contact list. Usually there would be an&lt;br /&gt;
attachment, and the email header would be something like,&lt;br /&gt;
‘Hey Bro look at this’, and it will look quite innocent.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If in doubt, check it out. Call them and be sure.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
However in truth, if you are using a good anti-virus program,&lt;br /&gt;
most will pick up these type of emails quickly and quarantine&lt;br /&gt;
them for you.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Read And Send Your Emails Using Plain Text&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Email messages sent in html (Hyper Text Markup Language), can&lt;br /&gt;
contain malicious code that can install into your computer.&lt;br /&gt;
Again a good anti-virus program can help counter this type of&lt;br /&gt;
threat, but it is still a good idea to use plain text email&lt;br /&gt;
messages where possible.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If you are unfortunate enough to have one of these damaging&lt;br /&gt;
emails get through, opening it in plain text will prevent the&lt;br /&gt;
malicious code from installing.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It’s just another line of defense to consider.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Use Common Sense&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Someone famous once said that Common Sense is not all that&lt;br /&gt;
common, and we all are prone to lapses at times. All said it&lt;br /&gt;
is still probably the best defense to protect yourself when you&lt;br /&gt;
are online and using your email program. Be aware of what&lt;br /&gt;
the email is asking. Don’t write an email with information&lt;br /&gt;
you wouldn’t like everyone to know. Not only can email be&lt;br /&gt;
intercepted, but what if you have addressed it wrongly by&lt;br /&gt;
mistake?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Imagine what the total would be with the whole world combined. Another statistic revealed that $3 billion worth of electrical energy is lost through spam. Why is this the case? At an individual level, a single spam email emits about 0.3 grams of Carbon Dioxide, a greenhouse gas. If you multiply that with the number of spam emails being sent around the net, an estimated 62 trillion spam emails, that turns the final value into around 17 million metric tons of Carbon Dioxide.&lt;br /&gt;

So what exactly is spam? Spam is a term for any unwanted or unsolicited junk emails you receive on your email service. There are many variations in spam emails. So how do you identify the origins of a spam email? Unfortunately, email services have evolved to a state which allows people to send spam using bogus email addresses. However, there are some ways to get around this and find the real identity of the user. Let me explain how.&lt;br /&gt;

Luckily for us, email headers can tell us a lot of something. Spammers maybe able to forge a bogus email but they may not realize their whereabouts could be identified, just from the header alone. Luckily for us, there are free website services which do all the analyzing for us. However before you start, you fist need the original HTML code of the email header. Many emails should give you the option to change it to HTML view. For Gmail, click the downward arrow button next to the reply button and click 'Show Original'. Once you have the HTML code, copy it and go to the Spam Origin Locator website (Search Geobyte Spam Origin Locator on the search engine). Paste your HTML code into the text book and click submit. You should now have a table listing the origin of the spam email address!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Wait, you're not done yet! You now need to identify the ISP of the IP address. How? You need to run a function called tracerroute. To open this, open run and type in 'cmd' to open the command window. Now type in ''tracert xxx.xxx.xxx.xx'' (Xs being the ip address) which will run the tracer route. You should now be able to see the ISP of the ip address.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

As you can see, trace route was able to identify more than one ISP. Which one is the origin? The final one, gxn.net. Great! Now you have found the ISP. All you need to do now is search up the website of the ISP you identified and submit an abuse report and hope for the best. You can try using the Network Abuse Clearinghouse for a better chance of getting your message through. Because SMTP emails require an SMTP server to send, it is probably easiest to use Google's Gmail server. Thus you'll need a Gmail account, which is simple and free to create. Once you have a Gmail account sending SMTP emails with C# is a breeze. The trick is to use the System.Net.Mail namespace instead of System.Web.Mail. The second namespace was replaced by System.Net starting on .NET Framework 2.0.&lt;br /&gt;

But what do you do to connect to Google's server? You need a few bits of information. The first is that Gmail's SMTP server address is smtp.gmail.com. However there is still one more thing, most SMTP servers need authentication to send your emails. This is where the Gmail account comes into play. Using the NetworkCredential .NET class, specify your username and password. This will authenticate your connection with the server. Just make sure your username includes @gmail.com.&lt;br /&gt;

Everything is handled through SmtpClient class. The class encapsulates some pretty powerful functions, including adding attachments and sending HTML emails. HTML emails are emails that are written with HTML code and are displayed while web pages. Although it depends on the email client, most clients can read HTML emails without a problem, allowing your C# application to send emails with images and formatted text. The SmtpClient class also allows developers to add headers, which can fine-tune the behavior of emails. However be aware that some SMTP servers, like Google's, will ignore certain headers and just use information from your account. For example, setting the From field to something else will be ignored by GMail, which will automatically set the From field to your email address.&lt;br /&gt;

Lastly make sure SSL is enabled on the C# application. This is required for W3C strict validation;otherwise, you'll receive errors. The only bug I encounterd was with Internet Explorer 7.x and greater is the second UL tag didn't properly have the vertical spacing. So to resolve this bug in IE simply add margin-top to the second UL tag as so:&lt;br /&gt;

Oddly enough, there was no extra spacing with Firefox 3.x and greater and Safari 3.2 and greater with this last bit of code. In other words, margin-top:10px didn't have any effect with Firefox and Safari. The purpose of retrieving a list of links from a web page is very open-ended. Some people want to know the active links in a page to make sure that none are broken. Others might need the links for SEO purposes like PageRank checking.&lt;br /&gt;

Whatever the goal, C# is a good programming language to write an application capable of sorting through HTML code quickly.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
C#'s .Net Framework provides programmers with two string processing functions that will be important: Substring and IndexOf. Substring will be used to cut out parts of the string that are both useful and not so useful. Meanwhile IndexOf gives us a way to effortlessly scan through large amounts of text.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So the algorithm will go as follows:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1. While-Loop as long as a "key" phrase exists in the text. In this case the key phrase will be "a href=". As long as the phrase "a href" is present in the HTML code, there is a link to be found.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2. Using the IndexOf function to get to the key phrase, we use the Substring function to extract the link from between the quote marks that follow the a href part.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3. Get rid of all the text from the beginning of the code up to (and including) this link we just found.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Of course there are many optional steps that can be added to add complexity to the algorithm, but in its essential steps, that is the way to go. Note that the last step is of particular importance. If you don't routinely toss out the data that has already been processed, the while-loop will get stuck forever in the same information.&lt;br /&gt;

As a closing point, this article does not address the part of getting access to the HTML code in the first place. The reason being that it is a whole different topic. The first thing you need to do is go to your Web Editor, eg Kompozer, and open up your Web Page.&lt;br /&gt;
