I think Mica Ertegun‘s eye for design is fabulous. Her rooms are full of artistry, but just barely full. She has a way of putting exactly enough furniture and art in a room. The spaces she designs are mesmerizing but never overwhelming. Each piece of furniture, and each piece of art,  reaches the eye’s a spotlight.

Sebastian Brajkovic is an amazing artist and designer. The pieces displayed above, along with many of his others, demonstrate fine art skills. The distribution of colors and painterly quality of the Lathe 1 chair is absolutely stunning. Furthermore, The Lathe Table 1200 is suggestive of a ceramic pot manipulated on a wheel with the spiraling rings. Sebastian Brajkovic is an inspiration.I hope these pieces are just as interesting and beautiful to you as they are to me!

1. The combination of wire chairs on one side of the table, and then a bench on the other. Plus, the pillows are a lovely way to functionally decorate. Pillows make the bench more comfy, and are pretty! win win.

P.S. As an unfortunate side-note, some things in Verheijen designs I really don’t like. In particular both dogs, one featured in the first photo, the second in the last. Did you notice them, and do you think they’re tacky too? Or is it just me being finicky, and super particular?

OOOMS is Dutch company that focuses on high end design. They clearly supply innovative, unique, and beautiful products. I’m particularly fond of the OOOMS wire table. Also, the OOOMS Sixpack is a totally cool, but simplistic design! I’m just generally impressed.
