The concept from a Japanese designer is a wooden bulb that glows like a fire, but will never catch a fire. The designer “Ryosuke Fukusada”, illuminates the wood with the help of LED lights which is capable of glowing bright at a low temperature. The concept has already reached its popularity after winning the prestigious award at Kyoto renaissance design competition. ““This lamp has the new attraction by means of using the traditional craft technique and open up the new value of it”, says the Fukusada.

A ViewFinder for iPhone helps you to shoot pictures easily even on a bright sunny day

If you had tried using your iPhone to shoot pictures on a bright sunny day, then you must have known how hard it is to see the display, because the oppressive glare of the sun washes out your display. A new Kickstarter project called “Daylight ViewFinder” can easily connect to your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad and lets you to shoot pictures easily even on a bright sunny day. The ViewFinder blocks the external light and allows you to view your phone’s screen glare-free to take a photo. The Daylight viewfinder app shrinks the camera and fits under the eyepiece blocking out the external light. The resolution of the image might look reduced but the retina display can still output an high quality image. Check out the video below for more information.

Lit motors announces C1 Electric vehicle that combines motor cycle and car

Few love to ride a bike and few like to drive a car, but both have their own individual qualities and needs. The motorcycle requires less fuel, accelerates faster and needs only less parking area. In contrast cars consumes more fuel and requires wider parking area, but they protect you from rain and hot weather. Lit motors came with an idea to design an electric concept vehicle that combines both the motor cycle and a car. That’s where C-1 Electric vehicle comes into the picture. It’s a two passenger electric motorbike with a gyroscope holding it upright — reminiscent of the gyroscopically stabilized Segway.

C1 can run up to 200 miles on a single charge

The car would cost around US$24,000 during its initial production in 2013 and will cost around $16,000 during the full fledged production in 2014. It will give you a satisfying mileage of 200 miles on a single charge and can speed up to 120mph. C1 looks like a lovable motorcycle and an electric car.

Smart Watches are not new! We had seen Pebble Watch a few months ago and here comes yet another smart watch that can work with your Android and iOS devices. Sing Something is a social singing game for Singers – Based on Draw Something

Most of you might like to sing during the shower, but none of your friends could hear that. Wouldn’t be more interesting if your friend can hear and guess the tune? Here’s an app that does that. ‘Sing Something’ is a social singing game that has you sing a song from a selected category and your friend tries to guess the tune. ‘Draw Something’ clicked the idea of creating ‘Sing Something”, says its developer. “We love singing in the shower and always wanted to create a music based game, we just couldn´t find the right recipe,” Vlado Hrincar, the developer of the app told in an interview to Mashable.com.

The game lets you to select a friend to play and a song to sing. The app comes with 1000 songs for your choose from and for those who often forget the lyrics, Sing Something points you to Youtube videos for what the song is supposed to sound like. Your friend then tries to guess the song by filling the blanks with the letters and earns coins for every correct guess. Sing Something, definitely an interesting concept.

Progress 39P Our ‘Progress 39P’ unmanned resupply spaceship on final approach for docking this past Sunday. It was laden with food, fuel, spare parts, and much needed supplies for our orbiting outpost. The greatest gift was just inside the hatch…some bags of fresh fruit and vegetables. Explore the Space Shuttle Discovery’s Flight deck at a 360 degree view

Space Shuttle Discovery, is one of the successful shuttle launched by NASA – the space agency of the United States. In 1984, Discovery was the third operational orbiter following the Columbia’s Challenger. The shuttle ended its final journey on March 9th 2012 at 10:57:17 CST. The last shuttle project documents the every stage of NASA’s final shuttle preparations. The Last Shuttle Project aimed at preserving the lessons learnt throught the launch, mission and the retirement of each of the shuttles. The project provides an 3D viewing experience using the time lapse photography by Rhonda Barczak.

San Alfonso Del Mar resort in Chile has the largest swimming pool in the world

A resort in a Guinness Book! San Alfonso Dal Mar, a resort in Algarrobo, Chile has the world’s largest swimming pool which spreads up to 19.8 acres holding 250 million liters of water. It’s more than 1000 yards long and 115ft deep. It took five years to complete the pool at a cost of £1billion and the annual maintenance of £2million. The resort is located on the southern Chile coast, which takes the water from the ocean via huge pipes and doesn’t require any treatment. It is a man made salt water lagoon designed by Crystal Lagoons Corporation.
