Boo yaaa !!!! My life now

Hey All,

Not even sure how long ago was my last post. Yet here I am writing my next just to update my stage in life and essentially letting my followers(if any) know that I am alive 😀😀.

I hope I had updated that I got married in year 2014(worth another post), moved cities and state from Stamford. Connecticut to Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Yes, to an even worse cold city but it was a beautiful one though didn’t have the night life of likes of New York.

Eden Prairie is dearest to me as I had my first son arrived there. We returned back to India, Bengaluru in the year 2019 had a shit of a year in my old workplace after return from onshore for peanuts of salary. Then corona arrived in 2020, even I got infected in the same year. Survived 2021, changed my job to another service company for a very good hike for a 12 year exp at that point.

Working for a US Banking client this time as against Best Buy my last client in MN. Spent 2021 and 2022. 2023 bought additional happiness in the form of my 2nd son.

Changing diaper as I write this post!!

Until next time. Last day of 2023!! Hope to be more frequent in future.

Belkin iPhone lightning cable not working

Belkin is a well known brand for the iPhone charging cables. But the ones's that I bought from Target paying $20 each only worked until i updated my iOS to iOS8 after which these charging cables stopped working.

After all it appears that Belkin cables are not MFi(Made For iPhones) but are some cheap cables. These cables also won't work with iPad Air. Though these cables are strong enough but are of no use unless they work. I've tried all tricks that were told as a solution for this problem from Youtube but none of them worked with my cables.

Edit: With the help of this video when posted on twitter, was picked by #BelkinSupport they helped me to get these 2 cables replaced promptly which I am appreciative of. Thank you Belkin for proving me wrong by showing you are infact helpful when issues are being brought to your notice.

Turn off/on the subtitles in Apple tv

Ever faced this issue in the Apple tv trying to figure out the way to turn on/off the subtitles in Netflix. hulu, espn etc. Well myself had this problem when some non english language comes up in any show and I try to figure out what the hell did the person tell. So I had to pause the show, go to the settings and change the settings to show the subtitles in English and come back to show and resume it. This was frustrating when i wanted to turn off the subtitles soon after non-english content.

I tried searching the internet, even called Netflix support :) But somehow figured this quick fix. Watch my video demonstrating the same here.

Here I come to US(Dream of a every Indian Software Engg.)

Friends, Here i am back again with a post after almost 2 years(a long time). Please do not ask me why such a long gap. My simple answer would be my wish.

So I am (too)busy with my work that i don't get a feel to write blogs, but now i have made my mind to get it changed. Blogging is my passion and i want to keep it up. As every software engineer has a dream of travelling to US on a onshore opportunity so had i. Hence worked hard, got a chance to get the VISA applied for US(H1B). Once the VISA was applied for on a normal mode, it took as usual the 8 months time to even get the petition back approved (by this time people sometimes forget that their VISA was applied).

So finally i got my petition approved, the day came when i had to go for stamping to Chennai. It was so easy process to get the VISA stamped(for H1B at least). Got the VISA stamped passport in the next 4 days. Was happy that i have something many other dream of having. Finally after many questions and answers and speech fights got the date of travel to US(dream day). Started packing stuffs, queried people living in US, friends in US that what are the items most sought in US by INDIANS top most answer being undies. Yes undies, we INDIANS(most of them) are in a mentality that not more than 2-3 pairs of undies are required in INDIA as they would be washed daily and put to dry under Sunlight, but people staying here in US just collect the dirty undies on a weekend(if they get a chance) and put in a washing machine and get it dried in a drier. So as advised by people bought good amount of them. Also the second thing being the INDIAN spices and ready to eat foods(keeping in mind the weight restrictions and baggage limit), also did some huge shopping of clothes.

BIAL, Bangalore with my family.

2nd Sept 2012, the day i have my flight scheduled for. On 1st Sept my parents all the way from my native came to see me off(as a usual INDIAN parent) totally proud of me, very first person my son going to US. We reached airport at 2 in the night, had flight at 6:30 AM, at 3:15 had to enter the airport. Emotional mom starts crying so do i. All done with, I enter the airport Departures entrance. Weighed my baggage's and paid a extra 90 GBP as I was flying in British Airways.

London Heathrow Airport.

I set in the air, here on everything that I do, I see is first time in my life. It was a great feeling, that I have made my parents proud. Had good breakfast in the flight and after 10 long hours i reached London, as it was my layover where I need to change my flight. Reached Terminal 5-B, my next flight was from Terminal 5-C. London Airport(the world's busiest) is so huge, that I had to take a underground metro to get to the Terminal 5-C from Terminal 5-B.

Here i learnt the lesson every INDIAN would learn out of his country when he come to most of Western Countries, yes I for myself call it as a "Toilet Lesson"(usage of only paper). Continuing the journey, again I set into the air and had some crappy food and reached the worlds dream destination NEW YORK. John F Kennedy Airport, it was evening 6 PM when my flight landed, all immigration done with I was out of airport at 7 and some how got into a shared Limo to reach my friend's home in Norwalk, CT at 8 PM. Finally i reached, and I was being received by my manager.

So this was the sweet and short words I could put into my emotions of my very first international travel.

Will keep updating now on. There would be many stories I would want to share here from US.

Deploy WAR file to Tomcat Server.

To deploy a an application in the .war format to the tomcat server just follow these below simple steps:

1. Check with the apache tomcat installation directory in bin folder. Go to command mode to above bin location and run startup.bat, you should get as in below figure

2. If the server didnt start and gives an error that the JDK is required, then download the JDK from the oracle site and follow below steps to setup the classpath.

3. After the jdk is installed, copy till jdk location of the jdk. Go to advanced tab in the properties of my computer. Click on the Environment Variables, click on new of user variables and enter name as JAVA_HOME and paste the location till jdk copied in variable value.

4. Now edit the system variable path as below to add the JAVA_HOME in the format as below.
;%JAVA_HOME%\bin;

5. Now go ahead with step 1, the server should get started. To verify this go to browser and type http://localhost:8080/ you show see the below screen

6. Just copy the intended .war file to the location /webapps folder. Shutdown the server and start the server again from the command mode. The WAR is extracted by tomcat and you can access the application with its context.

Sachin Tendulkar, the greatest cricketer the world ever has. Its a proud feeling for India, that it has so great people belonging and playing for it. Sachin is a ideal person not only for a cricketer but for each and everyone.

He has been honoured as a captain by Indian Navy.There is no relation between cricket and Navy, but its the matter of humanity that the person has served to. Sachin has set examples in and every corner of his life. He is a great human being before a great cricketer. Sachin has been playing for Indian cricket since 1990. Since then he has been growing in the field of cricket and now being a perfectionist, he still says "I am still learning in it". There always things to learn no matter how old you are in that field.

Sachin always advices this to his juniors and every cricketer in the world. Which also works out in every field and aspect of life. Seeing these young generation cricketers, its a shame for those raking in the name of cricket. Getting fame is not easy, loosing the hard earned fame is not even a matter of days. This in the context of cricket players getting indulged in the fixing rows.

The young generation cricketers always think that, this is the time to earn, as they get many endorsements and money from them. And they eventually loose concentration for the root of thier fame. This has never happened to Sachin. He too has seen many ups and downs in his career of cricket. But he has maintained his integrity towards the cricket in his career. So have other greats in this field Rahul Dravid, Saurav Ganguly, Anil Kumble and many to list. Cricketers should always concentrate on thier primary responsibility i.e cricket and giving best to the game. Money comes to them forever when they maintain integrity of game and not spoiling. May be once they might get huge amount for fixing, but when caught nothing will be left with them.
All the good things done vanish and get wiped of too. Sachin has set a great example for each and every person to follow.

Mahabaleshwar: Ooty of Maharashtra

Mahabaleshwar, a heaven for the nature lovers and i name it as the ooty of west india. Mahabaleshwar is situated just 250 KM away from Mumbai, commercial metro of India. Its a weekend outing for people in Mumbai, Pune, Satara and surrounding places.

Mahabaleshwar also has rich history of having river Krishna's starting point, and is also related to the times of Mahabharata. This hill station will sure grab your hearts in Monsoon. People come here to chill, get away free from work and near to the nature. Me along with my team had been to this place last week. Here goes the story.

As it was a planned trip of saturday and a sunday, we had to leave Mumbai by 6 AM on a saturday morning(think of it a weekend holiday morning which is so hard to do, ask a software engineer about it) We managed to leave at around 7 AM, it was raining hell that morning. Most probably mumbai rain is all pre planned all the week there will be no rain, as the weekend approaches, it lashes like anything(gonna make a research out of it). We straight way caught the express way at 120kmph. We had taken two cars (i10 and a santro), We first had a good breakfast on the foodcourt and filled the fuel tank. Our next stop was past Lonavla. Which itself was so scenic that we were almost to drop plans of Mahabaleshwar and spend weekend there, coming back to reality we didnt do that. But literally Khandala and Lonavala were eye's heaven to watch for. Those clouds touching the mountains and small milky falls here and there.

We again went ahead and passed by Pune by NH-4, didnt dare to enter Pune. Then continuing on NH-4, 80 km from Pune there is a place called Wai where we had to divert and enter the ghats, the western ghats. There for our badluck, we had a small accident our i10 with another i10. It was another tragedy, we sorted it out and went on. We entered the ghat leading to Mahabaleshwar, it was a awesome ride to enjoy. It was so greenery all around, that we could not resist to taste the purity of nature. We finally reached Mahabaleshwar(Ultimate destiny)at 2 PM. We were all damn hungry, got fresh. There was 24/7 rain support, meaning it was raining all the time in that place.

Here comes the speciality of Mahabaleshwar, it fresh fruits like strawberries and blueberries and many more. Mapro a garden where you get all kinds of fresh fruit crushes and jellies. You got to taste one when you visit. We had Italian pizza. We carried on to visit all the scenic points and almost touched the clouds. We next went to market for shopping. We spent the night in the Hotel Tree Top, good hotel.

Next day morning it was all agian the journey back to mumbai.

BMTC rides on money!!

Bangalore, the Silicon valley of India. People come here to make magic out of their lives. This IT city is most developing city in the southern India. Any new IT company plans to put up a office in India, thinks of Bangalore to open their offices.

So its obvious that people use the public transport for local transport. These days things have become so expensive that its not a easy thing to make life in Bangalore and for that matter in any Indian metro. We know that petrol and diesel costs are shooting up the sky. Over that even the government is in the race ahead to make profits out of public.

First of all the BMTC bus fares are so high, Government may be thinking that only IT people are travelling in the BMTC buses and they can loot them. But it has forgotten about the poor people who only use the local transport. They need to shell out about 35 bucks a day for transport. Which may happen to be their cost of daily bread. As far as i have heard and seen, its Bangalore only which has higher bus fares in the metro transport. I know about mumbai(4 times bigger in volume than Bangalore) operates BEST buses which in no compare with BMTC numbers. People travel here for the whole day with a daily pass of mere Rs. 20, which is almost half the fare compared to Bangalore. I believe there might be fuel difference in both the cities, but its not worth charging double. Mumbai people spend their half a day in buses for only 20 rupees and they travel from one end to other about nearly 50-60 km(one way), which is double than Bangalore commuting distance.

Also VAJRA transport is also costly compared to the Mumbai AC bus transport. Govt of Karnataka should also keep in mind about the poor people who wholly depend on these buses for transport and should not loot them. Its a matter to look back at for Minister of transport R Ashok. Bangalore has become a place only for rich people who migrate from other states to make their lives better, without even caring about own state people.

TATA DOCOMO has many offers every day. But people many a times are not aware of it and loose them. It has many offers by which you can save money. They provide daily and also weekly offers.

The offers are innumerable. Make correct use of them as in for the people who are in need of STD calls, they a can opt for STD daily pack for Rs 2, so they can make calls 3p/4sec, this offer lasts for the end of the same day and there are such numerous offers. To activate this offer dial *141# in you cell and follow instructions. The other offer is pay Rs 2 for a day and enjoy local/national sms at 1paise. I know they are competatively more attactive offers from other networks, but i hear lots of complaints about them too. So i am a satisfied customer of Tata Docomo.

To talk about the pros of the TATA DOCOMO, the internet connection that i use and rely upon. I am actually not a heavy user of the internet and i need only to check mails and chat with friends, so that need is sufficed by Tata Docomo GPRS pack which i use,(very economical). I see people taking the internet connection just for the sake of checking mails and some internet stuff,for which they pay hefty amounts monthly. The pack which i use is Rs 95 which provides me 6GB downloads free. So what ever i do is inside this limit. And the speed not the lightning speed. Accordingly its around 20-25kbps download speed.

So i urge people not to waste money in the internet connection for minimal use, which you people can have it from your own cell phone (GPRS enabled).

A Simple information for Linux duds

Friends many of the projects use the linux or the unix servers for many of the processes or any of the works. So i hope there will be many of the ksh files wich in turn call any of the coded java or any other language codes to process.

So if there are many of the ksh files to be called at the same time or sequentially then you might be grouping all of them in a crontab file.

So this crontab file will be the most important file for starting any of the processes automatically at the scheduled time as its been scheduled.

It so happened that one of my friend/colleague who works daily on these crontab file had to edit the crontab file. So the obvious command or the syntax to edit the crontab would be:

crontab -e

But unfortunately he wrote:

crontab -r

which was a typo and it unfortunately is the command to delete the crontab file.
There was a havoc created after the file was deleted and whose backup was also not maintained. This lead to a lot of work again. But fortunately as the system admin maintains the backup of the server, we had to wait till the SA arrived. But fortunately the system was not affected due to this.

But friends there is no way to recover a crontab file if you delete it. Please do keep a backup of the file in a simple notepad.

IPL 3- Back to the festive season called CRICKET

Its time to celebrate a festival called as CRICKET again. This time its IPL 3, many changes when compared to the last season. People celebrate this whole month as a festival in a way.

The things which got changed this time are the Kings XI Punjab is being led by Kumara Sangakarra instead of Yuvi. I think Preity has lost hopes on Yuvi. The Delhi Daredevils team is led by Goutam Gambhir, who is presently the Mr. Reliable of Indian team.Virender Sehwag let his position to Goutam.

Other than these it seems to be all the same. And most of the teams being led by foreigners. Deccan Chargers are charged up again and hopeful for winning even this edition of IPL. Royal Challengers being led by Anil Kumble are also a good team with young and experienced guns. They mostly will be reliable on Ross Taylor, Manish Pandey and others. The No. 1 captain, Mr. Dhoni leads CSK(Chennai Super Kings). They must be showing thier caliber this time.

Shah Rukh Khan has kept up the hopes on Saurav Ganguly and KKR(Kolkata Knight Riders). Shane Warne leads from the front for the Shilpa Shetty owned team Rajasthan Royals. The key players for this team will be Yusuf, Graeme Smith and others.

Coming to the Mumbai Indians, its led by worlds most successful cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who made Indians proud of by hitting a double century in the limited overs cricket. This team has Bhajji,Zaheer K, Dwayne Bravo.

People who are busy at office can have the matches live in thier computers in front of them without missing any action as these matches will be live on Youtube. There had been many issues coming up as the Pune blasts, But Lalit Modi comments come what may, India is going to host the IPL 3 and no where else. As it was a big hole in the pockets last time byh organising the IPL 2 in South Africa.

TATA DOCOMO- A Telcom Revolution

So this time i wanna talk some thing about the telecom network operator, TATA DOCOMO. This is a Joint Venture Between two telecom giants from two different countries. Tata Teleservices from India and DOCOMO from Japan.

It kind of created a revolution by introducing the per second billing plan. Which is now being followed by all other telecom operators. Be it Airtel,Vodafone or any other...they followed this only after public started to show its interest in per second billing plan. Because, a mobile has become so ubiquitous(common) that people don't want to lose much money on talking for less time.

These days the talks has been like A: "How much time still?" and B: "Give me 5 mins:. So this doesnt take more than 5 seconds. And people dont want to loose a rupee for such small conversation. Now a days all have followed this plan, but TATA Docomo was the initiator for this.

But addition to this, TATA Docomo has given one more uniue and best feature among competitors. That is internet. As mobiles are so common, so has internet become that common. And all networks provide internet as different charges.

The unique thing for TATA Docomo is, it has provided many plans for internet users through mobile. It has got various plans, which i think the other competitors are no where near to. The plans range from as cheap as Rs 15 to 95.

The Banana Boat Mystery

Hi, So i had to share something about the Banana Boat. Sounds strange right? Yup its a kind of strange thing. Its actually a kind of adventure sport where in you actually take a ride on a banana like boat which is huge...which can accomodate around 8 ppl. We need to just climb on it, and catch hold of a rope in front of each seat. So we have a simple rope to balance.

Now starts the mystery, the boat i.e the Banana Boat is tied to a motor boat, it takes us to the middle of the sea. So while following the motor boat, we wont be having any kind of fear as the boat would be going in the straight direction. But that's not adventure, its hilarious when the person behind us turns the whole of the boat, we get stunned there as the whole boat is upside down and we are in the sea with no support, thanks to the life jackets. We literally on the support iof the life jacket, with out which we would ve got the tickets to the heaven.

Now we gotta struggle to catch hold of the banana boat. the motor boat gets slowed down. We need to just catch the banana boat again one by one, the boat ppl help us boarding again. We just need be lying with the chest upside in the water to be confident or else we lose our confidence and give up ourselves to the fear.

This continues for around 3-4 times, after the first time in water, we lose the fear of water and start enjoying being in water. After that we are bought to the shore. Thats the end of the adventure.

This sport is available at The Aguada Fort Beach, North Goa, its near to the Calangute. some where 15 minutes drive.
The cost of this is very high if u dont bargain. We were 5 people and it costed Rs 250/- for each. So in an all we gave Rs 1250/- . But ppl if u ever go to goa do enjoy this sport. Or else it feels like u missed out something spl and the tour would be unfinished.

The Goan Sight

Hey, so atlast got a break from the work and had an outing a week back. And the place was none other than the exotic goa. We(The team) had planned for this outing just 4 days before the departure. So finally we booked tickets for goa. It was a late night journey from dadar. We enjoyed a lot in train till a family with kids came in and ruined our enjoyement. As a result we had no other option than to sleep. Next day morning it was a kind of boring journey and the train reached our destination i.e tivim which would be nearer to the calangute. The time was around 1pm i.e we had wasted our half of day in train. We rushed to the hotel we had booked by an auto. Uhhh an expensive ride it was. We reached hotel by around 2pm as it was a 40 min drive from station. We soon got fresh i.e except taking bath. Bcos we were however going to enter the beach. So by this time we had booked 4 bikes to roam in goa and i had got a pulsar. We rushed to the nearest beach first which was calangute beach. There was a hotel there and we were damn hungry. We ordered for the lunch all my team mates were hardcore non veggies. We entered the sea, it was a kind of empty as it was afternoon. We enjoyed a lot in the beach, an hour later our lunch was ready and we had a great lunch. There after we left to the ultimate of all the 'BAGA' beach. It was some 10 km away from the other beach. We were there at almost 4.30 evening. The climate was pleasant and the waves were cool. We took a shack and kept our belongings there. The scenery there was awesome both onshore and offshore. We enjoyed a lot on the waves. The waves were large enough for us to sink in. We enjoyed a lot on this beach. It was like a indian hawaiian beach. Would love to go for it again. We were wet, but didnt care. We left for the next beach anjuna beach. This was a beach for namesake.

This beach wasnt tat good. But it was sunset time and we captured that. We left from there soon wasting no time. Then we returned to the hotel 'Delta Residency' . To find the way back to this hotel it was a great achievement. I didnt remember the way as it was a goan night everything seemed to be different. No one was aware of that hotel. Finally got to the hotel. Soon took a cold shower as the whole body was salty. We got ready for the dinner and back on wheels again. For dinner we went to a restaurant called 'Britto's restaurant' the veg food wasnt tat good but the others enjoyed. The ice tea was awesome there. Some had beer and other had hot drinks. Some of my friends got a tattoo made on themselves. We finished a beach dinner. My team then left to 'The Tito's ' the famous disc in goa. I returned back to hotel and had good sleep. They came back by 4am. Next morning we were again ready by 10am, we left for the aguada fort beach. This is a kind of adventure sports beach. And here we tried something truely adventurous. The 'Banana boat' adventure. We were made to sit on a banana like boat which had no support other than a rope tied in front of each person as 8 ppl could be seated on it. This boat was tied to the motor boat which took us deep into the sea. There we made to fall off from the boat. I thought i would be no more :-) but i managed to catch the motor boat and all other caught the banana boat again and climbed it. They took us again and made them fall again. Well there were life jackets so there was no fear of water. We finally reached the shore. Right in front of this beach is a huge resort of Taj. We went back to the hotel again and returned the bikes. Got fresh and took shower. Now we were ready for the lunch. We went to calangute market, did some shopping. Had a good lunch. By this it was around 5 evening. It was time to return back. We had booked a taxi to madgaon as our train was from there. We had a good one hour drive. Every one was totally tired but managed to not to get bored. We reached the station at 6.30. On the way my team purchased loads of cashew nuts and the wines. As it is this goa is famous for cheap drinks. Our train arrived by 7.40pm. We enjoyed the journey. And next day morning back to office again. This was a 2 day outing we had been to. It was truly a awesome experience and would love to go back again and chill there in goa. Thanks for now.

The End of Odyssey

Atlast we have come towards the end of the training which lasted for 2 hectic months. It was a college like atmosphere enjoying with all over indian friends(UNITY IN DIVERSITY). May it be from north or south all together enjoyed in the cafeteria. At the end of these 2 months we take the memories with us. As all of us wont be in the same projects or at the same place.

The tension in these two months is so much that if any BP patient tried to complete it...he would have got the ticket directly to the heaven in the 2nd week of the training itself..Those RT's(RE-TESTS) were like the shock treatments and people never knew why they failed in the first attempts. More over, I was the king of RT1's as I had been failing in 4 of the 5 first attempts... The RT would be the next week on the same day as the first attempt was on. And the next week u go thru a mental trauma...getting into the dilemma as to "if i fail in RT1"??? and this question haunted me the whole week thinking about the consequences..any way its been a clear road till now... i passed however all of them(excluding 1 yet to give the first attempt). BUT THE ENJOYMENT IS WORTH OF THE TENSION.

Java Fever

HeyFrndzz...so its after long time I am updating my blog....but what to do...a busy routine keeps me away from updating blog..Anyways so, i wanna just give an update that i am getting trained on Java(which is virtually a ocean).U know u can even make a school of java starting from LKG to 10th standard and college further where you can learn deep into java concepts...and further a degree for java...lol jokes apart...what i wanted to convey is that the java platform is such a vast and flexible platform that you can make anything and everything out of it....

As a fresher some people might be afraid of these kind of languages, but its a fact that non-IT people perform better than expected when correctly trained..So this article is just a guide to the freshers who have just graduated out of college and want to jump into the corporate world..First think of the line you want to choose (bcos many non-IT people also by default just come into the field without thinking about the future).If u genuinely want to come to a IT field just u need to give ur 100% of ur self...

After u get to know any language at its depth..you then enjoy working with it...

I ve just tasted the bitterness and the sweetness of the corporate world, on one side i consider myself as lucky as i got opportunity to join a big giant MNC where as on the other side, i feel the pressure as they always give us a fear of showing us the exit doors. Its good on one side that they pay good salaries, on the other side they make us work more than worth of it.

Kerala-The land of exotic greens

Few days before i had been to the land of green and backwaters, yes its Kerala. I had been to Kasargod which comes in the north Kerala. Its the state in which you find lush greens all over.Its a coastal region, so be prepared to sweat it out. The places to watch in Kasargod are the Madhur Temple and the Bekal Fort and the beach.

Kerala internal transport is looked after by the private transports, so to reach out to the Madhur temple you get the private buses in the city, its around 20km from Kasargod, a 45 minutes journey. These private buses are totally airconditioned. Oops i mean with no glasses for windows and we can breathe easy in open air. The temple was very beautiful to see. The God residing there is Vinayak(Ganesh). There the main attraction which i found was a placard stating "ENTRY FOR HINDUS ONLY" which shooked me. This is the place where is saw the communalism. There is some other speciality related to the histoty. Once Tippu Sultan had attacked all the south Indian temples and when he came to this temple to attack, he felt very thirsty and asked for the water, the priests over there without any hesitation, brought some water for him to drink, there after Tippu thought the people here are very kind and as a matter of mercy and respect to the people who helped him, he didnt continue the attack on this temple. There is a mark stating the the sign of the sword mark where he wanted to attack on the temple. Its the story as i heard, i didnt create it.

Next we went to the old monument protected by the ASI(Archeological Survey of India) known as the Bekal Fort. This is some 20 km south of Kasargod town. Heard that this Fort was ruled lates by Tippu Sultan. The fort has been maintained very well and it attracts many national and international tourists, thus making it a very important monument. There is a Observation tower in the middle of the fort fro where we can have scenic view of the beach and the greenery of the Kerala. There is a entrance from the fort to the beach, the tides here are so huge, they are capable of engulfing the persons stranding on the beach or on the rocks there. We had been to the beach down the fort, the beach was very nice to enjoy. It will be a very wonderful view of the sunset from here.

You can reach out to the Kasargod town by the following ways. The nearest big city near it is Mangalore which is just 60km and a one and half hour journey. It comes on the National Highway NH17 so there is no problem of travel and we get the buses very frequently from Mangalore. The road travel will be so wonderful that you get many rivers,backwaters with unique kerala scenic view.

Here are some tips to buy a new , as which kind of bike to select, of which range of power etc. First of all the bike in India is almost a middle man's transport and many high class people prefer a car over a bike. But there are many high class hardcore bikers too who go on many adventures on the bike. The tips are as follows.
1. Decide what for do you need the bike? For adventure or the daily transport.
2. If its for adventures, its better to go with the high power bikes above 150cc such as TVS Apache, Bajaj Pulsar DTSi 150,180,200 and 220,Hero Honda Karizma or Honda Stunner.
3. Even the Bajaj Pulsar and the TVS Apache, Honda Uniorn ,Honda Shine fullfill the daily needs which are quiet powerful and economical and efficient.
4. But if you need a bike that is very economical for a long run and very efficient, then its better to go for Hero Honda Splendor or Bajaj Platina or Bajaj Discover whose cc are below 150cc.
5. These bikes are the best for the middle man, which are very efficient, economical and doesnt have much of the maintanence cost.
6. Where as the the above high end bikes are very costly, they are very powerful but their efficiency is too low.
7. If a economical bike gives a mileage of around 60km/litre, the high end bikes give the mileage of just 30km/litre on an average.
8. On the contradictory, the leader of racing kind of bikes has released a Yamaha R15, Yamaha FZ which make a style statement of the owner. They look dashing.
India is booming in the automobile sector, those days are gone when owning a scooter was a matter of fame. Indians are owning Suzuki Hayabasu and Honda CBR kind of bikes. Which the Indians decades ago only dreamt of owning it. These days we get bikes which ever suits us. So better be sensible while buying a bike and decide for the best one.

How to remove autorun.inf virus

Hi,

The autorun virus is the most common virus in all computers these days, it affects in many ways some of them are,

1. The drives get opened in a new window rather than the same window.

2.It deactivates the hiding.We cannot see the hidden files and even if we tick mark the show hidden files, it automatically again goes back to do not show hidden files.

So in order to fix this i usally install a fresh copy of genuine windows XP service pack 2, just after installing it, i ll be very cautious not to double click on any of the drives, instead i open them using the folders button.

Now what we need to do is, go to the tools, go to folder options,go to view,click on the radio button of show hidden files and folders, next you got to untick the hide protected operating system files(Recommended).

Now you got to click on the folders button, now click on the drive other than c drive in the sub window on the left side. You will find a file named AUTORUN.INF, delete this file by SHIFT+DEL, do the same thing in all the other drives other than the C:/ drive. Because in C drive that file will not be present.

Now you have deleted the deadly virus AUTORUN.INF. Enjoy now you can open the drives by double click on the drive icon in the My computer.
