Hawkesbury Residence with Modern Interiors Design in New Zealand. It’s completed in 2011 by Marmol Radziner studio. Capture of the rural landscape of the valley of Wanaka, the Hawkesbury residence in Mt Barker, New Zealand, using the landscape as a work of art, art evolving within its architecture. At the foot of the hill behind the property, the elongated shape of the residence allows all spaces to be flooded with the perfect amount of natural light. Los Angeles-based Marmol Radziner completed this impressive study of 2,150 square meters of residential projects in 2011 and since then, people were able to enjoy modern interiors and the landscape beyond, framed by the roofline and cedar deck.

The program includes two interior volumes, the social and private – connected by stairs. The volume that contains the master bedroom and two additional bedrooms, the master and secondary bathrooms and two side covers is a bit smaller than the volume social. Here, a beautiful set of batteries side by side – one in the great hall and the other in the adjacent outer shell – provide relaxation and tranquility. All spaces are distributed in a single story, so that the inside and facade of the pool has free access to the landscape.
