I challenge you to find a better cookie when dipped in milk. For it is the perfect bite of the oreo—that moment when the cookie sandwich is &lt;em&gt;just&lt;/em&gt; soggy enough to need the sugary glue of cream filling to hold it together—that no other cookie can match.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Oreo has been celebrated recently for their marketing successes across multiple channels. Most recently it was their instantaneous &lt;a href="https://twitter.com/Oreo/status/298246571718483968" title="Twitter response" target="_blank"&gt;Twitter response&lt;/a&gt; to the &lt;a href="http://adage.com/article/special-report-super-bowl/super-bowl-blackout-left-cbs-advertisers-dark/239710/" title="Super Bowl blackout" target="_blank"&gt;Super Bowl blackout&lt;/a&gt;, which garnered 10,000 retweets in the first hour&lt;span&gt;,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://adage.com/article/special-report-super-bowl/marketers-jump-super-bowl-blackout-twitter/239575/" target="_hplink"&gt;according to &lt;em&gt;AdAge&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/a&gt;,&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;and a lot of press coverage about their timely response.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;BuzzFeed's Ashley McCollum said&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="https://twitter.com/McCollumAshley/status/298249151257403395" target="_hplink"&gt;the tweet was "super smart,"&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;while&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-57567384-93/how-oreos-brilliant-blackout-tweet-won-the-super-bowl/" target="_hplink"&gt;CNET's Daniel Terdiman declared&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span&gt;, "Oreo came up with an idea so brilliant and bold that it out and out won the night."&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;To answer to those questions, Rick Burnes from HubSpot looked at data from 1,531 HubSpot customers (mostly small- and medium-sized businesses). 795 of the businesses in the sample blogged, 736 didn't.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The data was crystal clear:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Companies that blog have far better marketing results.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;Specifically, the average company that blogs has:&lt;/p&gt;
