HUCK and Relentless Energy Drink have teamed up to offer a budding filmmakers a summer internship covering their massive summer sports and music festivals.

We are inviting up-and-coming filmmakers to submit showreels of previous work and projects by May 11 to get their chance to make bespoke webisode content for Relentless Energy Drink's video channels.

The three winners will receive an all-expenses-paid VIP access to such events as The Kerrang Awards, The Isle of Wight Festival, Relentless Energy Drink Boardmasters and Relentless Energy Drink NASS to shoot their own unique films as a team.

They will also get valuable training from the Relentless creative team and the chance to showcase their work to a wide audience.

Surfilm Festibal is celebrating its 10th anniversary with this year's event, taking place in San Sebastian, Spain from June 4 - 10.

The festival will be screening the freshest surf films, photography and art from around the globe, with the full lineup announced on May 30.

There will also be a special workshop project, Extended Vision, taking place which aims to give a surf film masterclass with tips from Jack McCoy, Keith Malloy, Kepa Acero and Igor Bellido .

Photographer/filmamker Russell Houghten has just released this skate video, Open Horizon.

It fuses the internet favourites of time-lapse vistas and skate footage to make a subtle yet technically impressive gem.

Snowboarding brothers John and Eric Jackson have just released the first episode of their video series, Brothers on the Run.

The pair are set to travel from Alaska to the southern tip of Chile in search of snow, culture and other such things in between.

In the first episode, they grab a few runs with none other than Travis Rice, and get some Alaskan pow in the process...obviously.

And a spot of fishing too.

Artistic movement Driftwood Collective have just released this short DIY video, Recycling a Surfboard.

As you'd expect, it sees a new sea stick reborn from an old one.

Says Driftwood: "Apart from resins and fibre clothes, all material came from the trash bin. A broken and long forgotten longboard provided the foam and a wooden wine box turned into a couple of sexy fins. [...] The result is a green awkward looking little board. But make no mistake, this board is a supersonic joy machine set to make up for each minute we spent on its recovering."

Awesome.

O’Neill have just released this video, Celebrating 60 Years of Innovation.

The video is part of O'Neill's 60th Anniversary celebrating since founder Jack O'Neill started testing out his wetsuits that allowed him to surf the icy waters of San Francisco Bay.

Filmmaker Patrik Wallner has just released this short video, Kim Il-Sung's Birthday Party.

It gives a glimpse into the secretive state of North Korea during its colourful celebration of the 100 year birthday anniversary of the 'Great Leader' Kim Il-sung.

It was shot by Wallner during an aborted skate trip to the country, although they did manage to get a bit of pushing in at the end.

It's fascinating all the same though.

Skater-turned-musician Siren has just released the video to his new single, The Surrender.

The video sees the artist also known as Stefan Evan Niedermeyer team up with pro skaters Austyn Gillette, Daryl Angel and Johan Stuckey to hit up spots around LA.

But the skating is left to the pros thanks to a real-life broken ankle.
