1-11-12 Band Parents General Meeting

There will be a band parents general meeting tonight, 1-11-12, in the high school band room at 7pm. All parents of current band members, grades 5-12 are welcome to come and learn about upcoming events for the Huron bands.

2011 Fruit Sale Pickup

Fruit sale items will be delivered on Thursday, December 8th at Colonial Gardens on Hull road. The items will be ready for pickup after 5pm. Please contact Mr. Ladd if you have any questions about the fruit pickup.

All parents/guardians of current 5th through 12th grade band members are welcome to attend in order to get up to date information on the many activities of our very busy booster group. Fridays Report Times:
- 5:40 Doors Open
- 6:10 Dressed in seats for attendance / warm-up
- 6:30 Uniform inspections
- 6:50 Pre-Game
- 7:00 Kick-Off
- 9:45 Dismissal
Check-offs due this week…
- “Cupid Shuffle” / “Party Rock”
- “Dream On”
Anyone interested in play the solo for “Dream On” should be ready to play it in class Wednesday morning!
Help session Tuesday immediately after school for check-offs and/or concert band auditions.
The 1st quarter ends NEXT WEEK, all check-offs must be completed by then!

- While collecting orders for the fruit sale, please advise customers to pay by check! No cash will be accepted at the time orders are due!

Attention OSU and OSU Marching Band Fans!

Raffle tickets are on sale now for a chance to win two passes to the Ohio State vs. Penn State Football game on Saturday, November 19, 2011. The prize also includes floor seats for the “Skull Session” at St. John Arena and the opportunity to sit with the Ohio State Marching Band during the game.

Tickets are $3.00 each or 2 for $5.00 and can be purchased from Huron Tiger marching band students, parents, at the HHS Home Football Game on October 21, at Ace Hardware Huron, or by contacting Mr. Ladd via email at aladd@huronhs.com. The winning ticket will be drawn on November 11, 2011 and the winner will be contacted by phone. All proceeds will benefit the Huron Tiger Marching Band Spring Break 2012 Trip to Chicago. 2011 Fruit Sale Underway

October 10th marked the beginning of the Huron band program’s annual fruit sale fundraiser. Band members in grades 6 through 12 are encouraged to participate and sell fruit throughout the community.

All orders must be in by November 14th.
Orders can be placed through any current band member or by contacting Mr. Ladd by email at aladd@huronhs.com.
NO CASH. Checks made out to “Huron Band Parents”
All products sold will be delivered by December 9th.
