My good friend Mike Sullivan started notrenewing.com this year as a side project and it’s off to a great start, especially for this industry. The concept simple, If you are not renewing you might as well list them there first and get something. In speaking with Mike it seems the site has gathered a loyal fanbase that sees some users coming back each day and using a filter to search for new names listed that day. Living legend Brad Mugford has been a frequent buyer on the site and some others have reported selling a name rather quickly after acquiring for $99.

I like the site design, Mike has done a good job and has been able to make it a family affair with two of his sons, recent CompSci grads working alongside him.

So far the site shows 1259 domains available 665 successful transfers.

CommerceAi.ai sold for $35,000 at Afternic. It got me to thinking about the keywordai.ai naming convention. I looked at a few months back but thought ehhh. Many years ago when my life was about 12 hours a day on .tv a trend started with some investors in the Namepros .tv subforum. Someone who could not afford a one word .tv because it had a premium price and renewal attached would think about getting the keywordTV.tv version. I flipped a few as an experiment, now let me say this was not big money or even decent money. It was an experiment to see if they would sell at all. All in all not many have sold on Namebio Omegatv.tv and Businesstv.tv being the two highest and both under $1,600.

Now CommerceAi.Ai is the highest selling keywordAI.ai on Namebio, others include,

I could see Cloud or Brain or Neuro being resold for a decent profit. It will be interesting to see if more of these get registered. It’s interesting to note that Commerce.ai is a developed website and CommerceAi.com is for sale.

August 2026 new gtld domain sales came in at $809,000 vs $980,000 in July. 1109 sales vs 1461 sales in the previous month. The average price was $729 vs $665 in July.

Top.Domains took the top 3 spots, yes 3 they sold the first two and bought the third one. Exe.App at $35,000 led all new gtld domain name sales.
