The Styrian Business Promotion Agency (SFG) in cooperation with the Styrian Internationalization Centre (ICS) and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) decided to organize an international matchmaking event as part of the i-KNOW 2012 conference.

Preview to the Registration

Due to a lot of inquires we want to give a short preview to the registration procedure. Thus we will provide again an online registration system that will be opened in May to June 2012. The last possibility to register is directly at the conference but we suggest using the advantages of the upcoming online system. Be sure to check back later to registration for being well informed about the opening and the time periods of the early and late online registration.

Call for Papers is now available

The call for papers is now available. From both research and innovative practice perspectives the following topics of interest to the conference include, but are not limited to: Knowledge Management, Knowledge Technologies, Knowledge Context, Knowledge Evolution and Knowledge Discovery.

This year’s conference offers the opportunity to contribute to two Special Tracks which target the topics of Visual Analytics and Research 2.0. Both Special Tracks will take place on the first conference day (September 5, 2012) and will each feature a whole day of scientific advances, in-depth analysis, and application of the topic in focus.

TAVA ’12 – Special Track on Theory and Applications of Visual Analytics:

Reserach 2.0 Special Track:

Paper submissions must be original and must not have been submitted for publication elsewhere. Articles should follow the ACM Guidelines for Formatting and must be submitted via the EasyChair online submission (not opened yet) system as PDF documents (other formats will not be accepted). For the camera-ready version, we will also need the source files (Latex, Word Perfect, Word).
