100% original as previously stated, just a little jam I do to warm up and such.

Usually it's 6-7 minutes long with a lot more variations, but I'd figure I'd give all the listeners a break by shortening it up!

This is an old one which I decided to call "a girl like you" because the harmonies in this song are somehow like my relationship to my sweetheart. She makes me behave like a better man in all kinds of situations and since this happened I allways feel a bit more harmony in my life - it`s something what I�m very grateful for...

My first sort of official composition/song. I was originally going for a sort of Industrial metal/Rammstein like sound, but it didn't come out quite how I expected. this is only a rough draft of sorts and I have yet to record the vocals. it was done completely with loops and software instruments played on a cheap, undersized midi keyboard. Im not sure where I got a few of the loops, but most of them are either ones I made or garage band ones.

Any constructive feedback is appreciated. Especially on how to make the first section better, and to make it shorter, as it ended up far longer than I expected.
hopefully the finished version will be much better.

(I hate to repost this so soon after I released it, but I needed to make a couple tiny adjustments in volume levels.)

This is for any of you who find yourselves in desperate situations. If you are now or have ever been unemployed and/or running out of what little you have, if things are looking dire and you're losing hope that the situation will change, all I can say is keep on singing until your last breath. Hopefully things will improve (and they should if you keep trying), but whatever happens, let music carry you to the end.

"Let your song be your final sound/Make it loud/and be singing as the ship goes down."

Hopefully this song will be cathartic for you and help keep you going.

I wrote this last year when things weren't looking so good...not as bad as in the song (that's creative license), but I deeply understand the feeling behind the words. I finally recorded this over the past week or so and think it turned out pretty well, close to how I imagined it. I was going to do it as solo acoustic guitar and voice, but decided that it wouldn't be enough to express the feeling in the song. Those two things are certainly there, but I've added more parts that help develop the emotion running through the music.

In a way, the chorus is a kind of sing-along, so feel free to sing along.

The song, vocals, guitars, bass, drum and keyboard programming (there are some subtle strings in the bridge), production, breath, et al. are mine. No loops.

Track 10 of 12 from my album, Tokyo City Blues. "This'll be the year" is the sound of me procrastinating. Things I intended to do during the year included playing a live ponkey show, studying Japanese, getting my music on the iTunes store and using a ridiculous amount of reverb on a drum track at the end of a song (this last one I actually achieved).

There is a Japanese version of the chorus, too, which for some reason I never recorded:
