Crunchy phat guitars and a banging beat. Does it really get any better than that? Gorgeous layers of your vocals. Mystical groove, deep down funky. Hitting all the dopamine pleasure centers of my brain. Completely original and all your own style, but making me think of Missing Persons also. Like a outtake from "Color In Your Life". One of my favorite bands btw. Love, love love it.

Mellow and very soothing. Agree with Cee's there is nothing quite like a electric piano sound. I love hearing improv music, awesome building patient and graceful. The keys almost sound like a steel drum or xylophone, very cool. Making me think of John Paul Jones (Zep) here. Whoa I wish I could play the keys like this. Love the tangents, and I don't think you went 'too far' with them. But then too far is not a concept I am very familiar with. HA!

Agree with RedthruNthru this def has a summertime blues/love vibe going on. I think the magic or at least part of it is in the makeup. HA! JK. It's all done with smoke, mirrors or photoshop.

This for my ears is a little different sound than I have heard from you before. It's all you but there is a little something something a bit different. Hard to put my finger on it. I know that probably makes no sense at all. Your vocals have a John Lennon/Beatles quality to it. Love it.

First I have to say I love the pic you chose for this track. Awesome assortment of sounds. Maybe a car horn, heartbeat, music box, sorry just guessing. Not really asking for a answer, much more fun not knowing and letting my imagination fill in those answers.

Love this, I think you may be right. A re-do without the 'off the cuff' in the moment quality of this. May very well lose the intimate emotive feel to this. So many feelings being generated from just a few 'simple' words. Deceptively simple, nothing simple about the lyrics at all really. Very deep words. Love the guitar tone in this one jibes. It's a beauty. Honest testimony and beautiful. Of course studio wizardry could alter the hiss and more lyrics could be added. But for my ears this is quite perfect just as it is.

Yeah. The ReValver is hardcore in terms of taking up CPU. It's best to close out every program (other than Logic in your case) and make sure nothing is running in the background when using it. It gets even worse if you have multiple tracks with the ReValver on them. You might want to get a faster processor, motherboard, or soundcard. That'll clear up the problem, but until you do any of those, you'll be best off just closing all programs and restarting your computer before using Logic. Small price to pay for the beastly tone IMHO, but I agree it does get pretty damn annoying!

@Fioretti I am using the ReValver in Logic and I am noticing that there are some weird things that happen and wondered if you or anyone has experienced this. Once the ReValver interface is up I can do whatever i want normally, however, if i play the music while the interface is up my mouse clicking ability suffers. That is when i click on something I have to click 2-3 or more times just to get it to click once in the Logic interface first and then after a while in the ReVavler controls. After that stuff continues after 2 min of having the window open showing the amps, I cannot click anything to turn it off or stop the music from playing, or anything....I can move by grabbing the windows bar and drag gin but nothing else...any help would be rocking on this...

Vocals sound really good from the start -- just the right touch with the effects. By two minutes I really wanted the song to explode into a rocker, but that would make it a very different song.

At the beginning of the third measure (and less so at the beginning of the second measure), the timing of the acoustic guitar seems a little off. It makes it sound too much like it's being looped. Aside from that, the rest of the sound seemed tight.

I like the transition a few measures in. The electric guitar tone is perfect for this -- very reminiscent of the lead guitar in some Cure songs. The acoustic also sounds really good. The lead vocals seem sort of "jumpy" in spots. Perhaps some more compression will get them under control?
