iPhone Plus. [Concepts]

We love great iPhone concepts. We always are looking for great iPhone designs from different people. We came across nice concepts of iPhone called iPhone Plus by some of the guys at ADR Studio.

As you can see, the iPhone plus looks amazing. It boasts a 4.3-inch Retina display that sits edge-to-edge across the device. But the Plus isn’t just all show and no go. The concept is packed full of features.

Following up from recent rumors and reports about new iPhone 5, folks at ADR Studio gave the Plus a liquid metal body and outfitted its display with In-Cell touch technology. It also has a slimmer 30-pin dock connector and capacitive home button. The Plus has a pico-projector, for beaming content onto any surface, a 10 megapixel rear camera, and a 2 megapixel front-facing one. It also has an A6 quad-core processor.

We really can’t say if this concept is somewhere near to new iPhone 5 but it looks nice.

The New iPad Available in Nine More Countries

Apple has launched its latest iPad in nine new countries from April 27th 2012. This makes New iPad available for its user in 30 countries all total in less than 60 days of launch in the market. Of the missing from the list is China and I am not suprised with it because of recent patent issues with Chinese government for the iPad trademark.

Apple missed iPad sales projections by nearly a million units last quarter. But between the upcoming educational buying season and increased availability, that shouldn’t happen again. Keep reading for a full list of the new countries.

Running multiple apps on-screen simultaneously has been a dream for iPad owners. Similar concepts was demostrated by one of the iOS developer Kyle in the past. You can checkout inside for a demonstration video of the concept tweak in action.

So, what does this means? with this feature enabled, for e.g you could view your facebook timelines while playing game at the same time or check your mail — all from the same iPad. Amazing, isn’t it?

LinkedIn hits the iPad

LinkedIn updated their free iPhone app with native iPad support. LinkedIn 5.0 is optimized for the Retina display on the new iPad and comes with a new calendar feature that lets you view LinkedIn profile information for people you’re meeting with.

As you can see in the screenshot, upon launch, the app greets you with the main screen divided into three major sections: ‘You’, which takes you to your own profile where you can post updates, see who’s viewed your profile, and add contacts, ‘All Updates’ for a stream of latest from your connections and ‘Inbox’ for messaging features and invitation alerts.

The ‘All Updates’ section really takes advantage of the iPad’s bigger canvas. Here you can check out the latest updates from your connections and even read headlines and articles from LinkedIn Today’s news feed.

Introducing The New iPad With Retina Display

Apple have published a new advertisement showing off the new iPad in action. As same as earlier Apple commercial, this ad focuses on one particular feature of the new iPad, the high-resolution Retina Display. The ad perfectly shows off the high-res display and its amazingness in real life.

Watch video below which shows how these improvements in the new iPad really boost the quality of the user experience.

With support for 4G LTE – which will support HSPA+ for up to 21Mbps, and dual-carrier HSDPA for up to 42Mbps – the device certainly supports far quicker connectivity than its predecessor; and amazingly, when 4G is in use, it only diminishes battery life by one hour. On the hardware, the new iPad packs a new A5X dual-core CPU, a quad-core GPU for improved all-around performance, 1GB of RAM. As far as optics are concerned, it has a new, much-improved 5MP camera allowing you to take better photos with it.

Apple’s New iPad will be on hands of everyone from next week as Apple has started taking pre-orders for much awaited and hyped new iPad.

You can pre-order the new iPad which will be shipped to you starting from March 16th.

The prices for the new devices have remained the same as the current iPads 2 Pricing, with Wi-Fi only flavors going for $499, $599, and $699 for 16, 32, and 64GB respectively. LTE models will go for $629, $729, and $829 for the same amount of storage space.

There will be both black and white versions, with separate LTE models for both Verizon and AT&T.

Apple shows off the New iPad Retina Display

Of all the rumors and speculations on the new iPad, none is likely to garner more attention than its Retina display. The new iPad is capable of displaying images at a resolution of 2048 by 1536 (totaling 3.1 million pixels), which exceeds what HDTVs are capable of by a million pixels and is fully four times the resolution of the iPad 2.

According to Apple’s press release, the iPad Retina display is “so dense that the human eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels when held at a normal distance.” Video will be playable in 1080P, and color saturation has received a 44% boot.

Philip Schiller talks about the iPad’s amazing Retina display:

To this day no one has yet matched that display technology on any mobile device. We’re going to bring it to the 9.7 inch screen of the iPad. This presents a problem for us though… for the first time an iPad has a higher resolution than even the display behind me. [...] Text sharper than a newspaper. Photos will look incredible. Fonts look amazing, it’s a huge step forward. [...] Put another way, you all have an HDTV at home , 1080p — an iPad has more pixels. That’s incredible.

And Finally it happened, New iPad has been unveiled by Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook. We already know little bit of whats in new iPad, thanks to all those rumors and speculation from different blogs and sources.

The new iPad’s hardware has got some major upgrades. It looks much like its predecessor iPad 2 externally but it has much more revamped internally.

The first feature announced for the new iPad is, its Retina display. As rumors claimed, the screen of new iPad has a resolution of 2048×1536 which is over a million pixels. To be precise, its 3.1 million total pixels.

The new iPad has an all new quad-core processor. Apple named it the A5X. It’s 4X as fast as the popular Tegra 3 chipset, and should take iOS gaming to a whole new level.

The tablet is also packed with a new camera. The backside shooter is capable of taking 5MP pictures, and capturing full HD 1080p videos. But don’t let the 5MP part fool you, the system driving the camera is the same one Apple introduced in the iPhone 4S. So pictures should still turn out crystal clear.

And as we predicted, Apple has added 4G LTE technology to the new iPad — and not at the sake of battery life. The new iPad will maintain its well-known 10 hour life point, and will be able to surf the web on LTE for 9 hours.

iPad 4G in Apple’s inventory?

Apple’s long awaited iPad 3 event is just few hours away. And last minutes claims comes from 9to5Mac that it has just received a couple of tips from reliable source. It appears that 4G LTE iPads are already populating in Apple’s inventory, as are the “mystery” accessories we’ve been hearing about.

According to the report, the first 4G iPad to turn up in retail systems is product MD369LL/A, which is the 16GB iPad Wi-Fi 4G model. The source also notes that this particular model is USA-only.

Along with the iPad, the site has also been able to identify another new product. It appears the “mystery” accessory we’ve been hearing about over the past week or so, the B82, is nothing but an updated Apple Digital AV Adapter.
