     For the past three month we have enjoyed the sun, the sea and of course, the "vacation". Fun Day at Borzner's

     Actually this is our third destination after Minalungao Adventure. A whole day in a pool with friends!

    I like most here is that there are four (4) pools to choose from. And the day that we have selected to visit is not family day, so only few visitors were there. Since this is a public pool and very cheap, we expected many people to be with us. Thanks God there are only about 5 - 7 group who visited that day.

    Borzner's Events Place and Resort is located at Sta. Ines, Cabiao, Nueva Ecija. Only about 10 minutes away from home. They have four pools as mentioned above. One olympic size pool which we have enjoyed. It ranges from 3 to 6 feet high. 1 pool for kids, ages 1-5 just beside the olympic size. Another two on the higher part of the area. They are both small pool, just like a family pools. Height maybe 3-4 feet only. Those two small pools I really enjoyed because I can not swim to a deeper water, lol eh?!?

    Another thing that I love about the area is their "kubo" cottages. I love them. And those were just exactly what I am wanting as my house. They have large cottages for corporate or company outings too.

    Cheapest cottage that they have only worth P300.00 best fit for barkada outings, just like us. They already have tables and chairs and they have what we call "banggera" to put our food and other "baon" so the table can be saved for eating purposes only.

    Borzner's also offer free use of grills for ihaw-ihaw (roasting) which was always part of a swimming party for most Filipinos.

   As much as I have loved the place, there is one thing that I noticed and that I didn't like. The receptionist, the girl to whom we pay our entrance fee didn't even put a smile (even a fake one) on her face. She didn't know how to welcome a guest. Shouldn't she be friendly and approachable?

    Huh, good thing we are not in the bad mood that day, we didn't pay any attention to her. We just enjoyed the bonding moment with my husband and my friends.

    I will surely come back.

Chicken Red Adobo Recipe

It is my father's recipe and I loooove it.. :)

Ingredients:

1kl Chicken

1 pack tomato sauce

1 cup soy sauce

7-10 pcs. calamansi

black pepper

laurel leaves

3 whole onion - sliced

garlic - diced

8 oz. sprite

Procedure:

1. Mix all ingredients.

2. Adjust ingredients quantity depending to your taste.

3. Marinate for about 30 minutes.

4. Put into a pan and boil until chicken meat is cooked. Add some water if needed.

5. Continue cooking until sauce is sticky. But if you prefer one with sauce you can remove the pan from heat once chicken is cooked.

6. Serve hot.

An Incomplete Adventure to Minalungao National Park

Sun brightly shining! Reggae music in the air! Humid temperature! Big, Big sombreros! Swim suits, two piece, and floral shorts!!

They all spell S-U-M-M-E-R!
It is always an exciting season. Nobody dislikes summer except for its very hot climate. But of course we love what summer brings especially halo-halo and beaches!

Family outing, company Rest and recreations, and Barkada getaways always happens during summer. This summer of 2013 is very special, I already have one adventure a summer trip with my barkada to Minalungao National Park, a few days left for R&R with my co-teachers at Baler Aurora and still planning for an island hopping in Bacacay, Albay. I am sure this is going to be a fun and memorable summer ever!!!

Summer Breeze! It makes me feel fine...

Anyways let me share with your our adventure to Minalungao National Park...

About Minalungao National Park

   Minalungao National Park is one of Novo Ecijanos pride! Located at General Tinio, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, this park is one of the very few remaining natural environment here in Northern part of Manila. It is develop and still developing to attract more tourists coming from not only Central Luzon but from different parts of the Country. It also aims to attract tourists from other countries as well, which in my personal experience with the park, this aim is never impossible.

Travel to the Park
   Nueva Ecija is just a few hours from Manila. Coming from Caloocan City, (Monumento) General Tinio could be not more than five(5) hours travel by public utility vehicle, much faster if you have your own car. From Monumento you drive through North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and exit on San Simon, Pampanga. Take Gapan-Olongapo road for faster route until you reach Gapan. Once you reach Gapan you will never get lost. Everybody knows the route to Minalungao or General Tinio (just make sure you ask the elderly, they know best than the younger ones :])
   The route from Gapan is very smooth until you surpass General Tinio proper (market). The adventure of Minalungao Park starts from the travel to the park itself.. The roads are under constructions, some are cemented but most parts are rough. Most of it is foothills so it never get straight, there were times that the roads go so steep either up or down. But the adventure begins there..

What was there in Minalungao?
   You might think, "what's so special about Minalungao except for the cave?" Well, just as mentioned above, the adventure in Minalungao starts from travel until you reach the cave. Once you arrived to Minalungao Park, a very simple mark of the park (first photo) will welcome you. A narrow yet very steep road will bring you down to the coolest and very inviting stream. The stream itself will surely catch your full attention! Once we catch the sight of the stream the only words that we utter were "Ohhh, why we did not bring change clothes?!?". Wow! We did not expect the beauty of the water, we just wish we brought with us some clothes to change on so that we could dive and play on the water.

Anyways, of course this is not a day to spoil. Although we have no clothes to change on, we could not resist the invitation of the water. In the end, after the trekking, we still went into the water and let ourselves be wet! Who cares if we are wet? We are on our way home anyways.

        Boy, boy, boy... that's not yet the end of our trail,.... Let me tell you about our trekking...
        I have one tip for you if want to go to Minalungao Park. Once you arrived and get down your cars, a lot of kids will come and offer their services to you as your guide, there's no problem with that, but ask them to bring you first to the grotto (a small sanctuary of Mother Mary) and not the cave. We were tricked by the kid when we visit the place, we wanted to visit the grotto first, but since no one else among us ever visited from the place, we just follow the kid when he said we will visit the cave first then the grotto next. Trust me, it is still best you come to grotto first before going to cave, especially if you are Catholic or religious person.
   While we are on our way up trailing the way to the popular Minalungao Cave, our guide, Christopher, about 8-10 years old boy, said that the steps to the cave is about hundred. So we ask how long the steps to the grotto is, he said it's about thousand. Whoooh, that was looooonnnngg.. and I'm sure it is.
LET'S GO STEP BY STEP
1. Let us trail the 100 steps up and down cemented and steep stairs.

2. Trekking on the rocks!

3. Enjoy the view of the river and the rock formations..

4. Visit and enjoy the sparkling stones inside the Minalungao Cave.

5. Before you go home, don't forget to spoil yourself to a little swim on the fresh and cold stream water.

I hope you enjoy yourself once you visit. And I promise to go back and complete the adventure by visiting the grotto next time.

I Want to Be Part of Sample Room's Bloggers Circle

    I started blogging a few years back. It was not a serious blog, I don't intend to make money out of it. Ironically titled: Pimpy Eyes of kitty cat original title was "everything-under-the-sun" but that was so common that I have to change the title. I know I have a long title, anyways I don't use it in full. I refer to my page as Ironically tiTled. What's ironic about this blog is that there is no post being ironic. :)
    I put up the page simply to record my thoughts, my likes, my finds, adventure, activities, experiences and many others. A-L-L about me.
    In the later half of 2012, I noticed the change in the focus of my post. From the rags and un-categorized posts, I slowly got interested in fashion and beauty. My interest in fashion and beauty care was influenced by my co-worker and my maid of honor-best friend. We go shopping together and we try on clothing on every boutique we went to in the malls and we tester items - lipstick, blush on, mascara, etc.- in beauty care stores. We even spray different fragrances, long as they are free and for testing!!.. :)
    I admit I am a late bloomer when it comes to fashion and beauty. But I believe that there is no age in beauty and no proper age in expressing yourself when it comes to fashion. We can be fashionable in any age. And we become prettier as we aged!
    Was thankful to a fellow blogger who invited me through email to join the best Sample website there is - SAMPLE ROOM! Sample Room has become part of my blogging this past few weeks, and I was always waiting for every new item that I can buy with my points. Falling Water House (ART)

One work of art that I have fallen in-love is a residential place somewhere in Pennsylvania. Very lovable and nature friendly work of art by an architect! I didn't visited it personally nor seen it with my very own eyes. But seeing pictures is enough to fall in love with this creation.

Designed by a very talented architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The house was built as a weekend home by Kauffman family whom Wright befriended the son who was studying at Wright school. Japanese architecture has been the inspiration for this art. The waterfall was integrated in the design of the house making it unique. It is very different from usual designs of waters in the houses which is always in the view. Wrights falling water is designed to make connection within the man, nature and architecture. You could not see the waterfall itself from the house itself, but you could hear the sound of the water in all over the house, that is according to the people who have been to the place.

In my opinion, the house is a perfect form of art. This is a dream home I can always dream about. But being practical, even if I have millions I wouldn't make my house like this. Yes, I would enjoy a good view of a falling water in my home, but with the climate change and us human facing some issues on the shortage of fresh water for consumption, wasting water is not practical at all.

But still, a house with water freely flowing underneath, hearing the sound of it and seeing such a great view reflecting different colors every season of the year or every part of the day is a blessed day already. I salute Wright for making such a remarkable extraordinary house.

Running is not my forte. With my very feminine moves (which is very slow) you would wonder how I will look like if I'm running. (Opinion) "Supreme Student Government" Election in School as Training for National Election

Today we held the Supreme Student Government (SSG) election. SSG is considered one of the highest earning co-curricular point for honor students. The points they earn depends on the position they are holding. This is why most students who run for this election came from the higher sections where honor students belong.

In my almost two years of stay in this school, I seated as election chairman for the said event. In my observation, not all honor students join the election. Last year, the one who won the presidential position - which is the highest earning point - is not an honor student or among the first top 3. But she decided to run for the position because she feels she will win, which she does.

This year all running for presidential position was at the top 3 position for honors. In the presidential position, SSG Adviser will be the one who chose the running candidates and advise them of the gaining points and the consequences as well. It is still in the students' decision if she will run for the said position or either she give way to the other. When running for president was decided, this person will then select other students to be their running mate. Once he/she has selected the partner they will then decide and select their senators and governors.

This year, we have three (3) parties in the election. I don't know what their criteria for choosing their running mates. But, in my observation there are selected students that are not worth the position and are not eligible even to run. I am not being negative nor judgmental, but we know most of this students. They couldn't even responsible enough to attend their classes, submit the subject requirements or even study their lessons. And then they will be burden with another responsibilities? Being an SSG officer is not only a title, it has responsibilities that needs to be address.

I was feeling half and half after the election and the winner was declared. Half satisfied and half is not.

Few reasons for being satisfied:

1. It was good to know that some students really take time to go to school and exercise their right to vote.
2. Some of our students came prepared with their list to be voted, much faster.
3. There are students who really paid attention to the running candidates and selected wisely.
4. Since it is just a small school, all running candidates remain friendly to each other even if they are of opposite party.
5. The election ended early and peacefully until the declaration of the winners.

Few reasons for being not satisfied:

1. Almost one-third (1/3) of the students didn't vote. They came to school that day, yes, but they got impatient waiting for their turn to vote.
2. There are still few students who came to vote but still didn't know whom they will vote. So when they took their seat to vote, they talk to their seatmate discussed about the running candidates, making the voting slow.
3. Many ballots are half empty. Some positions are not filled. They just voted for their friends and nothing else.
4. Running candidates not even showing up in the election day. Not bothering to vote even themselves. If they win, how could they be model if that smallest responsibility to themselves they can't make?
5. Around one-fourth of the winning candidates are not worthy of the votes. Some of these people are a no show in any school even, programs and activities. Some are cutting classes, noisy during class discussion and not participating in classroom activities.

I believe this SSG election is the schools training the students for a higher purpose. They are our future. Some of them will be our Councilors, Mayor, Governor, Senators and maybe President! Who knows? We can't tell. But judging in this years SSG results, the question in my mind sticks "Is this really our future?"

My points:
If you cannot practice your simple but big responsibility - that is, to vote - what is your right to question any decisions created by the people in position? If you did not vote, you are wasting the right that was privileged to you. You are wasting your right to be part of this organization, of this school, or country.
If you voted the person because he/she is your friend even if you know that he/she doesn't deserve the position, you have no right as well to complain anything they do that you at the very first know they could do when they will be given a chance. You should chosen wisely.

I have chosen this one for the fact that my face needs a cream or a moisturizer before anything can be put on it. Sample for this product worth 75 points. It is costly considering that I only have 100 points to consume for samples. But there is nothing else that interest me in that time. The other products available are not for me or my age.

Although I was hesitant to buy this one, I was happy I did what I did. AHAVA did a great job to my face. Although I have normal facial skin and sometimes oily, this moisturizer really moisturizes my skin without the oiliness. It does not make my face shiny. It also serves as my primer for my make up. I used it before applying my pressed powder and it absorbs so easily that I didn't have to wait minutes before applying anything else. Once I spread the cream to my face I always followed it with pressed powder. And even the pressed powder foam didn't get sticky after use. It's really great a product. Very well recommended.

Before, whenever I use a cream after shower, my skin still gets dry. But with AHAVA, my face stayed moisturize the whole day. My blemishes were reduced after applying and with continued use, now that I almost consumed the 15ml sample, I noticed a soft, clearer, and rosy chicks I have. Such a great change. And yes, I definitely will look for it in stores. Great effect on my facial skin and I admit, I really look better now.. :)

VENUS AND MARS MINERALS

There are two reasons for why I have bought it together with AHAVA:
1. I was in love with the color. (picture doesn't show the real color because of poor quality camera.)
2. Only cost 20 points for a 2.5g sample jar. Suits very well with my available points..hehe.

     I don't always use eye shadows. I do only if I am going to attend any programs or parties. My everyday make up is always lipstick, facial cream and powder. And sometimes if I felt like putting eye shadows on. (tipong trip trip lang).
     There is no regret in buying this product except that it is messy for me. A lot of powder were wasted every time I open the bottle.
      what i love about v&m minerals:
a. The color is great, so vibrant. (will best fit specially for fair skin tone)
b. It is very pigmented that you only have to apply little and it will already look great.
c. Very cute packaging. (lolz)
d. No irritation, no tickles after use.
e. Lasting effect. Doesn't fade quickly. I have to apply only once for the whole eight (8) hours.
f. And lastly, it does not spread once it is already properly applied on your eyelids, (messy only on packaging but not when already applied on.)

"A Secret Affair" Movie Review

Family, Love, Friendship, Betrayal

That's few topic "A secret Affair" tackle in this movie. The story is quiet realistic. It really happens in real life. Love wasted. Friendship broken. Love failed. This is a very sad movie. Full of sexy scenes, skin exposure of the main characters specially Derek Ramsay and Andi Eigenmann.

I could say this is a typical love triangle. But watching "face to face" or Personalan in television where you can see real life stories of love, friendship and family, A Secret Affair is not an imagination story. THIS IS real story.

I commend the director, script writer and the actors for a great performance. The emotions of affected people are the typical emotion a person could feel when face to same situations.

The movie never forgot to show how Filipino family have close relationship. The family that supports each other in times of hardship and pain. The wife who shows strength and martyrdom for the sake of family. Watching the movie you can never deny that it's a Filipino masterpiece!

Tragic ending. Not the usual happy ending, man guy ending up with the main woman character, but, it HAS the RIGHT ending. I could never imagine ending it differently.

Messy Me ^-^

How do you chose your clothes? Do you end up like mine? Everything on the floor.. :)

These are another try out. Two outfit here was tried. Total of three styles utmost, but this isn't finished yet.. We haven't decided yet which to wear on her Christmas Party.

Remeber my previous post "Back to the basic with neon pants" told you there that my sister asked me to help her with her party outfit with the theme "VEGAS". She wanted to be the gangster/mafia... But a student mafia.. :D

The first post with the outfit was not satisfactory. She doesn't look like a gangster nor any closer to it, though it has vest on. Here, in my first photos, she wears the black and white mini dress with big ribbon at the front. Vest to show Vegas style, boots and a candy color pants. I put on the candy color pants so as to make her look not so old fashion. But I think it doesn't help her of any gangster.. he he he..

So we try to see how she will look without the pants.. And I think this looks better.. what do you think?

Hello lovelies.. how do you like this look?

Anyways this is my little sistah.. she asked me to help her dress up for her christmas party... though we live apart.. she traveled from Manila to Nueva Ecija just to get the items she needs for her dress up which I helped her buying.

The theme is VEGAS.. and three choices are suggested to them... MAFIA, SHOWGIRL,and BRIDE... First I want the sexy one.. the Showgirl.. but my sister is a shy type of girl..

She couldn't be comfortable in sexy clothes.. And her personal choice is a MAFIA.. we already have the boots.. and I have my old time friend "brown vest". Vegas mafia or the gangster style we need vest and fedora. I already ordered the fedora but it has not yet arrive when we shoot this photos..

This is not yet the final outfit. These were just try out.... I will post the other outfit we tried on.. :)

Hello, One of my topic always in this simple page is all about school activities. Yes, Since I am the youngest educator in our school and I am teaching basic ICT, I was tasked to make the program invitations for each school event. Mostly I do the work though there were they didn't ask for my services. (^-^)

This time, though it is late, our school will be conducting an INRAMURALs. Because of crowded school activities, our Intrams was postponed and will be celebrated late. (Sabi nga, Huli man daw at magaling, Naihahahbol din)

The PESS coordinator is a friend of mine, so she ask me to make a program for her. Which I am willingly did too.. :)

HERE is what I have created via publisher, but since blogger cannot upload files which are not jpeg or video, I have to convert it to a picture.
