We are working on case by case, since we do not want to erase new data with a backup copy. We need to decompress them before putting the files; and that’s why the operation requires an additional delay to put the websites back online.

Customers affected by this technical problem are mainly on dynamic websites (CMS, Wordpress, etc…)

If you notice lost files on your website, please contact technical support via the customer hub. A backup copy can be put online to restore your lost files.

All clients benefiting from R1Soft backup service are affected by this maintenance. The R1Soft service will be unavailable for a period of 2 hours, between 2pm and 4pm.

There are planned implications:

  • Running backups will be cancelled prior to maintenance
  • No new backup will be performed
  • The management interface will be unavailable

This operation aims to update the internal application system and will be performed by iWeb’s administrator team.

No action from customers will be required. Please report any problems with your R1Soft backup after this maintenance.

Our monitoring systems quickly reacted to this problem and notified our system administrators. The DNS resolver service was restored about 20 minutes later around 6:25 PM.

Clients having a dedicated server that is using our DNS resolvers may have been affected by this problem if this DNS resolver was set as the primary resolver in their network configuration. Other clients that may be using other DNS resolvers or their own should not have been affected by this problem.

A technical problem in the anti-spam filter was the source of the problem.

We are currently correcting the situation, and everything should be back to normal in the next hour.

This affected 11 other switches which have shutdown their uplink (error disabled).

We have immediately isolated the defective switch. The affected switches were rebooted to restore the uplink.
