I am Tucson and also a 5th generation Tucsonan. My lineage began here with Petronelia Peyron, her dtr Carlota , her dtr. Virginia, her dtr. Marion to myself. Our family in the Americas began in Guaymas, Mexico where a beautiful Mayo woman, Petronelia Nido, met and married a Frenchman – Pierre Peyron. It is a very exciting story. They moved t Arizona – first to Oro Blanco, then to Tucson. Their daughter, Carlota, married Reb Wood. Their daughter, Virginia married Claude Monier. Their daughter, my mother Marion, married Horace Bounds. I married Tom Peper, a Canadian immigrant. I have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.

Imago Dei Middle school and Izlar Custom Photography have partnered on a composting project for their community garden. Imago Dei is a private tuition free middle school. It is year around and is centered towards serving children of low-income families in Tucson. Our goal in joining forces for this composting project is to teach the children new ways to use existing resources to enrich their garden and nourish their bodies. Ultimately, we would like to provide fresh organic produce to families in need throughout Tucson.

4th Generation Tucsonan

I am Tucson 4 generation My great grandmother took the stagecoach from San Francisco and lived in Tombstone then Bisbee and my grandmother mother and I were all born here….My grandmother graduated from the University of Arizona in 1923 as a schoolteacher then married my grandfather who owned and operated the Harley Davidson shop on 4th Avenue Ingham and Ingham Harley Davidson, it was in last weeks Tucson Weekly under Chow as it is now Delectables Restaurant I donated that picture in honor of our heritage of Tucson. My parents met at the U OF A and married and had 7 kids…My mother Margaret Ingham was a member of Chi Omega sorierity- she and my Dad have since passed on, but I am still honoring their legacy of love for my home TUCSON AZ THANK YOU by the way I started a small business and believe or not I called it Sharing is Caring after my name and lo ve of caring for others……I listen to you at work and at home and appreciate your love of our community and music.

Landscape and wildlife: I have had the pleasure of watching the sunset in a lot of places but none of those sunsets compare to a Tucson sunset. I also love the way the shadows of clouds dance on the mountains and the sound of Coyotes at daybreak.
