aka “My ex-wife is going to kill me…”

the short version – it’s all about “kindle”…

I grew up and lived in (until about 8 years ago) a small ‘town’ on the border of Wales and England called Hay-on-Wye.

it’s only got a population of around 2,000 people (and 9 pubs) but it’s fairly well known in the UK simply because it has so many 2nd hand book shops, in fact it has more bookshops per person (not inc. sheep) than any other town in the world (apparently).

it’s also the host of a big literature fesitival every year that attracts over 100,000 people for the 7-10 days it’s on, yup, that does make the town VERY busy, but it’s pretty geared up for tourists anyway because of all the bookshops.

so why’s my ex-wife going to kill me..?

simple, she works in one of the bookshops, and like most other people in Hay-on-wye who do, she’s seen what electronic books and readers (i.e. the Kindle) are doing to the traditional bookshop business, basically they’re killing it off, slowly but surely.

and guess what I’ve just bought myself…

yup, a Kindle!

I’ve been playing around with Kindle on my ipad and iphone for a little while, I like having so many books so easily available wherever I am, but I went the extra step and when she finds out she’s not gonna be happy with me to say the least, as I’ve effectively ‘gone to the dark side’!

so why is any of this of interest to you..?

This Kindle stuff is BIG!!!!

I guess you’re probably thinking ‘not another automated backlinks tool’…

yup, but then can you ever have too many backlinks to your site..?

the answer, in case you were wondering, is no, you only get in trouble by getting too many backlinks too quickly, which this deals with, or by getting too many backlinks from the same source, which this partly dals with, but you shuold use this as part of your overall backlinks strategy anyway.

Note #2: If you saw my blog post (and demo video – Automated Backlinks Software) for WPSBoxPro then what this new plugin does may seem somewhat similar, and that’s because it is, it essentially does much tthe same thing, but it does it in a different way.

with WPSBoxPro you need to do the harvesting of urls and then set up the project and run it, so it’s really ideal if you’ve got an outsourcer to do the work for you or if you’re running it on a seperate computer so you can let it run once you’ve done the initial setup.

with this new plugin you just set it up on a blog (and it can work for multiple sites from one blog) and it will just get on with it and go out to get the comment backlinks for you over time, effectively making it even MORE hands free.

If you get backlinks from just one type of site, likes blog comments, this will not appear to be ‘natural’ to Google, and can result in a ranking penalty for your site.

ok, this post may not be as “controversial” as that headline could be taken…

I’m talking about something that I simply hate doing myself, I do every thing I can to avoid it, and that usually involves me spending a pile of cash to get out of it…

I’m talking about writing “sales letters” or sales pages for products and services!

Unless you really enjoy spending hours messing about with different variations of words, phrases and stories, trying to get the very best combination to “evoke” just the right emotion…

AND following a template to get all the different elements that are supposed to be in there just in the right place, with just the right amount of white space in between, with the best words and phrases highlighted, bolded, CAPITALIZED, colored, and/or underlined…

see, I’m fed up already!

I loath and FEAR writing a full one sales letter, it just takes way too much time, energy, effort and, dare I say it, “Hard Work” for me to want to do it…

promoting services and products that have a recurring commissions structure made a massive difference to my business when I discovered the true power of this “secret”…

the math makes it easy to see why recurring commission programs simply ROCK!

let’s say you’re promoting a product that pays you $10 commission per sale, as a “one off”

if you make one sale a day, you will have made $300 at the end of the first month, the problem is you’re going to make exactly the same again in month 2, month 3, month 4 etc.

BUT if that commission was recurring, then you would still only have made $300 at the end of the 1st month, but at the end of subsequant months you can see where the “recurring” effect kicks in: -

• end of month 2 = $ 600
• end of month 3 = $ 900
• end of month 4 = $1,200
• end of month 5 = $1,500
• end of month 6 = $1,800

so at the end of 6 months, for the same work/effort/initial sales, you would be getting $1,500 PER month MORE!

Obviously that’s somewhat simplified, for instance there would of course be cancellations and refuns over time, so the figures wouldn’t be quite that high, but you get the idea.

so it does kinda make a LOT of sense to concentrate your efforts on promoting products and services that have a recurring commission structure, but where do you find them..?
