Taking notes is something which most of us do and it’s very important that we should be able to do that without the burden of searching for paper and pen or open a text editor if we are in front of a computer. Once we take a note, we save it, but we need to access it whenever we need it. We should have some option to search it with some keywords, etc.

Scrawl is a new app for MAC users costing just less than US$2. You can search and write notes the most easiest possible way. These notes syncs (using iCloud) across all you MAC machines and very soon you will have iOS applications to enable you to access it from your iPad or iPhone.

It’s time for the next version of iPad to be released. We can expect a great device which may be called the iPad 3 as per tradition.

We see a new version of every apple device being released at least once a year and it’s now time for the world’s best selling tablet to give us the next version. We saw iPad, then the iPad 2 and now we are waiting for the iPad 3 (Not sure if it would be called iPad 3)?

What can we expect from iPad 3 ?

We still do not have any official release of iPad 3 or the next iPad features, but we can be sure of some features which we can expect.

Siri Support – Siri was the highlight of the last iOS device, the iPhone 4S and we can be sure that iPad 3 will have Siri.

Better Processor and Memory - Definitely we will have a faster iPad ( A quad-core processor A6 ) with some more memory than iPad 2

Better Camera – I am not sure about the usage of the iPad camera. I have an iPad 2, but I do not use the camera much. Camera is useful for video calls and we use the front camera for this. The rear Camera is used to take pictures and videos and it’s bit embarrassing to take videos or shot pictures using a big devices like the iPad, but definitely we will see a better camera coming with the next iPad.

Better Display – Yes we can expect a better resolution in the coming iPad (Retina Display with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels).

These are some basic things that we can expect from the next iPad. There are some other rumors like a thick body, LTE Network, etc, but again we will have to wait for some more days to see the real new iPad. 

Will you go for an upgrade? Will the new iPad provoke iPad fans to throw away their old iPad and grab a new one? Let us wait and see?

Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens is the official name of Mysore Zoo. It is one of the popular destinations and an important place to visit in Mysore. It is located very close to the Mysore Palace. It is established in 1892 and it is one of the oldest zoos in the world.

Mysore zoo is a home to variety of wild animals and birds. Entrance to the zoo is available on a fee. An adult is charged with Rs. 40/- and Rs. 20/- for the child up to the age of 12.

Even though the Mysore Zoo is located in 245-acre, the allowed area to the visitors is only 3.5 Kms. Safari service is provided, for those who don’t want to walk, for a charge. Photography is permitted inside the zoo. Still camera is allowed inside for which Rs. 20/- is charged and Rs. 150/- is charged for the Video cameras.

An important attraction of the zoo is that public is allowed to adopt animals and birds for certain period. It has been introduced in 2000 and it has been a success over the years.

Chamundi Hills is one of the important tourist destinations in Mysore. The Chamundi Hills is famous for its ancient old  Chamundeshwari Temple. Chamundi Hill is about 13 Kms from the Mysore Palace. The hills are named after the goddess Chamundi (also called Chamundeshwari). According to the belief, Goddess Chamundi killed the demon kind Mahishasura and a fight and to honour her, a temple is built.

A gigantic statue of Mahishasura at the entrance of the Chamundeshwari temple. This makes an appropriate background for the those tourists who wants to take photographs.

The temple area is purely a plastic free zone but the vicinity of the temple look so dirty with lot of discarded plastic bags and the drainage from the nearby small shops

The temple at the hill top can be reached by road and foot. Buses are plying frequently (Bus No. 216) from Mysore city bus stand to the Temple. Stone stairs (about 1180) from the foot of the hill to the temple and en route you can see a huge Nandi statue (that hill is named as Nandi hills). From Nandi hills, you can enjoy the Ariel view of the Mysore city.

This is one of the must visit place in Mysore.

Google has launched a new extension for Chrome browser which can be used to get a  summary of your Google Adsense earnings. There are many Google Adsense users who need to login every time as they might have two or more Google accounts or they have to use different browsers as I was doing.

Now after installing the Google Adsense Extension for Google Chrome, I just need to click the small button besides the address bar of my Google Chrome browser. Like you see in the screenshot above, you get the day summary and some earning details from different channels, your lifetime Adsense earnings, etc.

You can install this extension from the Chrome Extension Directory.

Update : Was just checking my Adsense Earnings while writing this post and it showed my Today’s Earning as $0,00, was shocked. Logged into my Adsense controlled panel and found that my earnings were as usual which means that there are some bugs with this extension, so don’t get shocked if you see a $0.00 figure, just double check by logging into your Adsense control panel.

Parklane Hotel in Mysore is a 3 star hotel with all the necessary amenities. It is located in Harsha Road, near to the Mysore Palace and only a few minutes walk to the entrance of the Palace.

The hotel provides four types of rooms like Comfort, Luxury, Luxury Deluxe and Super Deluxe. The first two types have only double room and the remaining two types available in Single and Double. If you are accompanied by a child, an extra sofa cum bed is provided for an additional charge of Rs. 500/- The room tariff ranges from US$ 30-50 only.

Parklane hotel is a very beautiful boutique hotel which attracts both domestic as well as international tourists. Hotel has a multi-cuisine restaurant in the first floor and it turns into a beer parlour after 7 in the evening. The restaurant staffs are very slow but very warm people. One more beer parlour is in the fourth floor and the other attraction is the pool at the top. The centre portion of the hotel is open which gives enough access to each floor. The reception staffs are not so friendly but they will at your service. You can see a small library and a gift shop beside the reception.

I stayed in one of the Luxury rooms (room no.409) in the hotel in last December for 2 nights and I was very happy about my stay except the fact that the food was a bit expensive. The room was, quiet spacious and neat, provided with LCD TV, Air Condition, Fan, Telephone, Safe Locker facility, and a Refrigerator. Both hot and cold water in the toilet with sufficient toilet paper. Once you check in, they provide you with two toilet kits, one for gent and one for lady. I paid Rs. 1600 for the room. In my opinion, it is a very nice place to stay since it will offer you good service for the money you play.
