At the fulcrum point of leadership is the essence of your resilient strength. Resilience is your inner strength to take it, your mental strength to react to it, your outer strength to respond to it, and all your strength to recover from it.
Jeffrey Gitomer

Resilience

Just the sound of the word – resilience – sparkles as it rolls off the tongue. It has energy and enlightenment and feels like a powerful word. For those that demonstrate resilience in how they deal with life’s challenges, this is exactly how they see themselves. Ask yourself this – when faced with life’s challenges, when things go wrong, when your plans don’t fall into place, do you bounce back or do you fall apart?

Introduction

A young professional in the spotlight (or celebrity) as stated by Wikipedia, ‘is a person under the age of 23 who has a prominent profile and commands a great degree of public fascination and influence in day-to-day media. The term is synonymous with wealth (commonly denoted as a person with fame and fortune), implied with great popular appeal, prominence in a particular field, and is easily recognized by the general public.

Executive Coach, UNITED STATES

At the heart of my coaching philosophy is the principle that you are the creator of your own reality, and therefore you have the power to change it.

When you take responsibility for your thoughts, words, actions, and habits, the power to create personal change is strengthened as it extends from you, rather than the belief it comes to you. This is the true source for real and lasting transformation!

Executive Coach, UNITED STATES

Why an Iris?

The iris is a beautiful and hardy flower that loves light. During the Middle Ages, irises were used by French monarchy to represent “perfection, light and life.” The delicate flower stands atop of a hardy stem giving it a firm foundation. Another type of iris is a part of the eye. It is the colored disc inside of an eye. The color, texture and patterns of each person’s iris are as unique as a fingerprint. It is responsible for controlling the diameter and size of the pupil and thus the amount of light reaching the retina.

Telling, Teaching or Coaching

Personal development through coaching

I have been in the business of managing people for most of my working life, some twenty plus years. A little more than two years ago, I completely changed careers and transitioned to a new role as a leadership coach. I coach leaders at all levels and across a multitude of industries to reinforce the skills and tools they learn in a 12-month leadership training process. I thought this transition would be a slam dunk. I've worked with people for years and always prided myself in being a fairly good manager, establishing relationships and motivating people, so why not coach
