In total, ten IOP-designed and developed annual reports garnered awards in the 2012 ARC Awards. United Technologies won two Grand Awards for best Online Annual Report and best cover design. Kellogg's captured gold for best interactive annual report and Stanley Black & Decker's online report was awarded silver. Dominion Resources won gold for best cover design, silver for the interior design and a Bronze as best summary report overall. Additionally, online and print were recognized for Delphi Automotive, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the TB Aliance, Nielsen, Pfizer and Tyco. All gold awards are eligible for Best of Show to be named in September. The ARC Awards were created to honor overall excellence in annual reports, and are sponsored by the world's only independent awards organization.

Ideas On Purpose had another terrific year, with eight client's print and interactive online Annual Reports honored as the best in this year’s Vision Awards, sponsored by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP). Reports for United Technologies, Tyco, Kellogg's, Stanley Black & Decker, Delphi, Moody's, Nielsen and Dominion Resources were honored. Each report placed in the top of its category, with the highest scores across a wide range of competitive measures. The report for United Technologies was ranked #16 in world and was awarded special recognition as most engaging. The competition drew one of the largest number of submissions ever, representing a broad range of industries and organizations. More than 5,500 entries representing upwards of two-dozen countries were received, so competition was exceptionally tough.

The ARC awards are in their 25th year and is the world's largest juried competition recognizing outstanding achievement in annual reports. The iNova Awards recognize the "brilliant assembly of numerous disciplines that create website excellence" and include entries from all over the world. Two IOP-designed and developed web sites took the Gold in their category. The Green House Project won for non profit website and the Pfizer 2010 online Annual Report won for best Pharmaceutical interactive annual report.
