MUMBAI: Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan hit back at the Mumbai Cricket Association, saying he was not drunk during the alleged brawl between him and MCA officials and got into the spat only after kids with him were “manhandled”.

The Bollywood star had an altercation with the security and officials of the association after the Knight Riders had swamped Mumbai Indians, according to MCA treasurer Ravi Savant.

The MCA officials have lodged a police complaint against Khan for his alleged misbehaviour at the stadium and decided to ban him for life from entering the premises.

“I was not drunk, I had gone to pick up my children. The officials were extremely aggressive. I just got angry but I left after that. I said a few things in anger. I was one and they were 20-25 officials and they were extremely rude. When I tried to answer them, they hid behind others,” Khan said in a press conference.

“They should apologise to me. They were extremely high-handed,” he added.

League match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Deccan Chargers abandoned without a ball bowled due to heavy rain. This rain made the out field ankle-deep water, This made for the chargers to earn some point with out playing single ball after five consecutive losses.

A drizzle, which had delayed the toss, soon turned torrential with strong winds accompanying the rain. Not only did the outfield have to suffer due to the rain, a makeshift wooden structure for security personnel also came apart, causing slight injuries to three people. Due to this there was three major injuries, The structure was located in front of the J Block at the ground, to the left of the club house/pavilion. Out of the injured, reportedly two were policemen and the third was a spectator.

The washout put the home side Knight Riders second on the points table behind Delhi Daredevils.

Pak plane crashes near Islamabad 127 killed

All passenger was feared to be killed in the plane crash near Islamabad in Pakistan. It was the passenger plane carrying 127 people in the bad weather, Officials said this could be the reason for the this plane crash. Bhoja Air flight B4-213 went down in a farmland just outside Islamabad’s Benazir Bhutto International Airport near the Chaklala airbase.

Airport officials said that the plane was due to land at Islamabad airport at 6:50 pm (1350 GMT) but lost contact with the Air Traffic Control at 6:40 pm and crashed shortly afterwards before reaching the runway. ”The weather was bad but can’t confirm what the actual cause of the crash was,” Jaser Abro, spokesperson of the airline said.

Delhi election results so far : BJP looks to be in leading position in all the three newly-formed municipal corporations of Delhi. As of now 80 results are announced in which BJP has bagged a total of 49 of 272 wards in all the three corporations while Congress has won 19 seats.

Eight Independents have also won, BSP 2 besides one each by JD(U) and INLD.

As per the trends available, BJP is leading in 130 wards out of the total 272 wards while Congress is ahead in 80 seats. Others, including BSP, is ahead 54 seats.

South Delhi Corporation :

BJP has won or is leading in as many as 43 out of the 104 wards
Congress was ahead in 32 seats
thers are leading in 20 seats

East Delhi Corporation :

BJP is ahead in 59 seats of 104 seats
Congress is ahead in 25 seats
Others are leading 12 wards.
