Apple has officially rolled out iOS 11 for iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch users and it comes with new features & major changes. One of the biggest change is in the Notifications system where some users like the new notification system while some users didn’t like it. As an iPhone/iPad user, you can disable the notification previews for all apps or individual apps. In an earlier post I shared the step-by-step guide to disabling the Notification Previews for All Apps and in this post, I’m sharing a step-by-step guide to disable the notification previews of the individual app(s) on iPhone/iPad In iOS 11.

Step-by-Step Guide To Disable Notification Previews For Individual App(s) In iOS 11

Step1:First of all, you have to tap on “Settings” app on your iPhone/iPad and open it.

Step2: As soon as the “Settings” app is opened, you have to click on the “Notifications” as shown below:

Step3: Now in “Notifications” you have to select any app for which you didn’t want to see any notification. For example, I’m selecting “Instagram”.

Step4: As soon as you select “Instagram”, you’ll see a number of options available as shown below:

Step5: To disable the notification previews of the Instagram app, you have to tap on “Allow Notifications”. As soon as you tap on “Allow Notifications”, you won’t be able to see any notification from an Instagram app on your device. Apart from this, you can also disable few things like whether you want to see the notification on “Lock Screen” or not, or in “History” or in “Banners”.

I hope you will be able to disable notification previews of the individual app(s) on iPhone/iPad and if you come across any issues then comment below so that we can help you out.

As an iPhone/iPad user, you get notifications for most of the apps you use be it WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, etc. or others. Most users like notifications on their devices while many users complain about it and above all, with iOS 11 the most complained feature is the new notification system. In addition to this, you can’t delete all the notifications at the time and you have to waste ample amount of time to clear every single notification. Apart from this, if you are using iOS 10 then you know how to disable the notifications (just visit individual apps & change the each app’s preview settings individually) but when it comes to iOS 11 you don’t know how to disable notification previews. In this post, I’m sharing a tutorial by which you can easily disable the notification preview in no time.

Step-by-Step Guide To Disable Notification Previews For All Apps On iPhone/iPad In iOS11

Step1: Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone/iPad.

Step2: As soon as the “settings” app open you have to tap on “Notifications”

Step3: After “Notifications” you have to tap on “Show Previews” as show below:

Step4: Now you have to choose “Always”, “When Unlocked”, and “Never”. If you choose “Always” then you will see notifications whenever they appear. If you choose “When Unlocked”, then there will be notification preview in the CoverSheet when your iPhone/iPad is unlocked and if you choose “Never” option then it will disable previews entirely whether the iPhone/iPad is locked or unlocked.

Just follow the above steps and you can easily disable notification previews for apps on iPhone/iPad in just one click. If by chance you come across any problem, then comment us and we will try to solve your problem.

As a MacBook user whenever you click on any app in the Dock of Mac OS, the app(s) Dock icon will animate with a little bounce indicating that the app is opening. In case if you don’t want app icons to animate to bounce in the Dock you can stop it. By following the step-by-step guide you can easily disable the app icons to animate on app launch. Apart from this, if you launch any other applications on Mac OS, the app Icon will appear in the Dock and it will also animate with an up and down indicating the app is opening.
