<p>Luck is a state of mind, an attitude that anyone can develop. Lucky people are able to find out what their purpose in life is and the meaningful activities that help create the &#8220;being&#8221; they wish to become. They are willing to do everything they can to realize their vision. They tend not to see events as random, but purposeful.</p>
<p><em><a href="http://www.ido-doi.com/luck-is-an-attitude/businessman-flipping-coin-3/" rel="attachment wp-att-3838"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-3838" title="Businessman flipping coin" src="http://www.ido-doi.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Corbis-42-065-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" /></a>Paying attention to intuition and meaningful coincidences is central to creating luck.</em></p>
<p>Maybe you heard the saying: „<strong>He is more lucky than me”.</strong> Actually, <strong>it all depends on your attitude,</strong> it all depends on how we see the world, and how we see ourselves in it. Two individuals can see the same situation at the same time differently. Let’s take crisis in our example…<strong>Some people sees crisis as problems, some find opportunities in them.</strong> there are people who make lots of money from the crisis. At the same time, there are many people who complains about the economy, no customers etc.<strong> Good attitude turns the negative into positive, it just depends if you want to control your attitude.</strong></p>
<p><strong> Having a good attitude is just a matter of choice</strong>. You can change it within seconds. You can sit around to complain everything, or you can stop complaining and say, &#8220;Hey, what good can I make out of this situation?&#8221; When you start asking this question, your mind start to shift, your energy changes, your emotions turns for the better.<strong> Successful people always feel great about themselves. It is their attitude that make them feel this way.</strong></p>

It could also be seen as good fortune, perhaps it prevented you being in a different place later that day where something much worse happened, perhaps it meant you went to a garage where you met someone for the first time who turns out to be a very important figure in your life.</p>

<p>We all know someone who is extremely lucky. Think of the luckiest person you know. You will find that person is usually happy, outgoing and upbeat. They know how to make the best of any situation. On the other hand think about someone you know who always seems to have bad luck. Do they complain and gripe all the time? The &#8220;Lucky&#8221; person is usually the one with the positive attitude. <strong>&#8220;When life deals you lemons, Learn how to make lemonade.&#8221;</strong> The person that turns an adverse situation into an advantages one is sometimes looked upon as being lucky, when it was actually their attitude that brought about the luck.</p>

<p><strong>So luck, I believe, is created by us in many ways, we have control over our lives and how they turn out, even in how we approach difficulties that seem to come upon us.</strong> By finding the inner mirror, or finding the positive approach to guide us through it, by facing our fears when &#8216;bad luck&#8217; strikes and gaining healing and growth from it &#8211; suddenly we change the &#8216;bad luck&#8217; into more of a gift.<strong> We can create the condition for Luck to fall on us,</strong> we can create good luck through trusting our intuition, acting on guidance and inspiration and changing our beliefs and attitude. Learning to control your attitude is learning how to take control of your life. Finding your passion and talent in life, means finding your luck, because your talent gives you trust and belief of something that you know for sure that you do it good…</p>
<p><em>Most people wasted their time away without mentally preparation, and when luck falls onto them, they don&#8217;t know what to do with it, therefore allowing luck to slip by.</em><br />
<strong><em>Success is caused by luck &amp; attitude.</em></strong></p>

The incredible ability that music has to affect and manipulate emotions and the brain is undeniable, and yet still largely inexplicable.</p>
<p><em><strong>Music is such an incredible natural force that all who study it should be in awe of its beauty and power. It is found in every known culture, past and present, varying wildly between times and places.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong> Music has the power to not only enhance our workout, but also to give us the fitness connection between musical sound and sound health.</strong></em></p>

<div>Whatever the reason, do not feel bad about feeling that way. It is completely natural to feel unhappy sometimes, but not all the time though. That brings us to the next important question:</div>
<p><strong>How to be happy, and how to get rid of these bad feelings, and bring joy to our life?</strong></p>
<p>Do <em>you</em><em> </em>really like waking up at 6am just to make it to your workplace by 8am? Of course not! It&#8217;s this someone else you&#8217;re pretending to be&#8230; Do <em>you</em><em> </em>like dealing with all them problems you meet everyday? No! It&#8217;s the professional person you&#8217;re trying to be that makes you do it. This idea gets out of your focus, and all you concentrate on is that no matter how many good things you make happen on a daily basis, you&#8217;re still afraid to admit that some of them you would do differently</p>
<p><strong>To feel happy about yourself, you shouldn’t be afraid to show your true self.</strong> But of course, you should work on your qualitites first.<strong> Don&#8217;t be afraid to follow your heart and act like <em>you</em><em> </em>think you should, not like you think <em>others</em> would like you to.</strong> If you want to be a successful person, and have a good communication with others, speak about what you want to change or you disagree with. This is better than always preteding to be someone you are not! It will come a time, when people will love the way you are, if you work on your productivity, responsibilities, communication skills and motivation. And you will feel happy about yourself!<br />
If you are feeling unhappy about your work, then it is time to change your job maybe. If you are feeling unhappy about being unappreciated, find opportunities to work with someone who can appreciate your talents. Now comes the next question &#8211; <strong>are you afraid of change?</strong></p>
<p><em><strong>&#8220;Any change, even a change for the better, is always accompanied by drawbacks and discomforts.&#8221; -</strong></em>Arnold Bennett</p>
<p><strong>People hate change.</strong> Is it because they like their lives so much? I don&#8217;t believe so. It is because they are afraid of failure. To feel confortable, we are always leaving it for some other day: Not today anyway. Maybe tomorrow. No, not tomorrow, but Monday for sure. Or maybe after the holidays or after New Years. And so, because of our own insecurities, we never get to make the changes that could possibly make us happy. Isn&#8217;t it time to to start making the best decisions for yourself rather than choosing the path with the least amount of risk or the least amount of difficulty? Just think about how many things you would do differently if you had absolutely no worries and fears about them?</p>
<p><strong>Everyone deserves to find his or her happiness.</strong> You owe it to yourself to lead a meaningful existence, and derive happiness from it.</p>
<p><em><strong>Being happy is nothing less than you deserve.</strong></em></p>

Along the way there needs to be balance including fun along the way. If a life gets thrown off balance, success also suffers. Success comes from the aspects of life (work, fun, friends, and family) that fills a life.</p>

<p>Twenty four hours. That&#8217;s all we get.Yet the amount of work we must try to squeeze into those hours can be mind-boggling. <strong>When life is imbalanced, relationships suffer, </strong>work performance deteriorates. Potential emotional effects include feelings of stress, anxiety, depression, irritability, and hopelessness.</p>
<p>Not everything is urgent or even necessary. We need to learn to <strong>prioritize things</strong>. Focus on what&#8217;s most important and set other things on the back burner. Some things can be taken off your plate altogether.</p>
<p><strong>Don&#8217;t discuss office hassles at home. </strong>When you sit at the dinner table, make sure you don&#8217;t talk about stressful things especially office. Start by planning to leave the office early one night each week and then slowly incorporate more activities that are important to you.</p>
<p><strong>Sometimes things don&#8217;t go as you expect, the best you can do is to plan and implement.</strong></p>

<p>I can think of many situations within my own life where I have been hurt emotionally by individuals who I cared about.  I never understood what I did wrong to deserve such treatment but it did happen. We can’t run from these situations in life, but we can defend ourselves from others who try to hurt us.</p>
<p><em><strong>Don&#8217;t take it personally.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Listen and Make Conclusions.</strong></em> (Of course, by hurling back hurtful words to them helps nobody and only increases the hurt. So, say little, listen much.)</p>
<p><em><strong>Forgive them.</strong></em></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><em><strong>Walk away.</strong></em> If you cannot yourself take the hurtful venting from a hurtful person, then leave. You are not obligated to remain. You can even state to them that you are not in a position at this time to listen and then excuse yourself.</p>
<p><strong>We deserve to live a life of peace, wholeness, and happiness regardless of what has occurred within our past life</strong>. I decided to let go of the past when I discovered that I was still an &#8220;able body person&#8221; designed to help other people find success within their lives. Even when I was trying to get ahead of others I always found myself encouraging people to strive for more within their lives. I just let the past be the past and decided to move on to my future…<strong>The more you begin to shake off the dust from the past the clearer you will be able to see what is presently in front of you</strong>. So take the time today to forgive yourself and those who may have hurt you in the past. Choose today not to allow your past hurts to triumph over your present life&#8217;s path.</p>
<p>Sometimes we hurt somebody, and we realise it only after we lose them&#8230;So let&#8217;s love each other!!</p>

Now that the new year has arrived make a decision to discover your passion in life, your loves and how you express these loves in through your &#8216;use.&#8217; Your &#8216;use&#8217; is the way you express your love and wisdom to those around you. <strong>The right time is right now! It’s not tomorrow, and it wasn’t yesterday! </strong></p>
<p><strong></strong><strong>Will it be easy? Probably not</strong>. The path ahead will be full of twists and turns, challenges. But once you reach your destination you will realize that every single bump and stumble you faced was all part of becoming the person you now are, A different person who grew without you even noticing, a person who looks at the world differently and who values the journey now more than the destination<strong>. The more challenges you overcome, the closer you are to your goals.</strong> We all face things in our lives that when it happens we question whether we can get through the pain or struggle we face, yet we do, the world keeps turning and we keep moving forward, growing as a person with every step.</p>

<p>You know how quickly time passes so where do you see yourself this time next year? Do you see a year that you continued to worry about the &#8216;what if&#8217;s?&#8217; Or, was it a year that you took your life by the scruff of the neck and said this will be my year, this will be the year I change my life, this will be the year that even if the destination I want to reach is beyond my current capabilities, I will start moving one step at a time, because nothing worth doing is easy and nothing anyone ever accomplished was ever achieved without the decision to try.</p>

<p>I like the energy that rises during this time of the year, whether it is spiritual or commercial. We all feel different and we are all affected by the rising energy.<strong> Our choice is to be affected with joy or with irritation. I choose joy and Love.</strong> After all, what you say, becomes. So, when I say &#8220;happy holidays&#8221;, I truly wish you a series of happy holidays, with the emphasis on happy. My intention is to have a whole long month of happy holidays with lots of Love and sunshine and blessings.</p>
<p>Here are 4 practical steps you can take, to be happier in the holiday season in tough times and in good times. A lot of stress and anxiety at holiday time comes from unrealistic expectations. These unrealistic expectations are often easy to spot when we take the time to examine them.</p>

Before you told him how ugly he was, he was ok or even happy with himself. But after you said the words &#8221; are you ugly&#8221;, his whole demeanor changed. How did you do that? You did it by the power of your words. The more you tell a person how stupid he is, the more he will start believing. He is not stupid because of something he did; he is stupid because of what you said, and kept saying. Through your constant speaking of how stupid he is, he believes you and now manifests stupidity.</p>
<p>You must begin learning today the words that will empower you and how to begin utilizing them so that they can benefit you in everything you do. <strong>Start speaking health and health will come. Start speaking wealth, and wealth will come. Start speaking with thankfulness.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Words are powerful</strong>. So take heed how you use them. Use them to bring blessings upon others and yourself.</p>
<p><strong>Remember whatever you focus on you attract</strong>. If you continually worry about something in your life and you keep talking about it, you are going to experience it in your reality. People do not quite understand this; they continually talk about the lack of money, their achy joints or whatever else they focus their attention on. As they continue to talk about their situation; they will never change their current situation.</p>
<p><strong>You can even use the power of words to become a much more positive person;</strong> Look in the mirror each morning, and see yourself as you wish to become. If you want to be more beautiful, tell yourself how good you look, and you will see how other people will start telling you that. Everyone likes to hear how other people feel about them. Telling someone they are wonderful, they are excellent at what they do or even a simple compliment on how they look is all it takes to give a miracle.<br />
<strong>You can impact and control your life totally.</strong> You can use as well the power of words to stop your stress response or to reward yourself by creating a special moment for someone else.</p>
<p>A complete stranger is waiting for you to reach out your hand and make them feel special. <strong>Everyone desires the approval that you hold in your words.</strong></p>
<p>A short story:</p>
<p><em>A group of frogs were travelling through the woods. By misfortune, two of them fell in a deep pit. All the other frogs gathered around the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was, they called out to the frogs that they were good as dead.</em></p>
<p><em>The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump out of the pit with all their might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they will never be able to succeed in their efforts. Finally , one of the frogs took heed of what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He soon dropped dead. The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. But the frog kept trying, jumping even harder and finally made it out of the well.</em></p>
<p><em>When he got out, the other frogs said, “ did you not hear us?” the frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were actually encouraging him all the time.</em></p>

Whether it becomes grandly recognized by the masses or not is not what matters. The concept of awakening relates to opening yourself up to take on YOU. You are &#8216;younique&#8217;.</p>

Everything seems to be just perfect in these stories. They were written to teach good things to little ones, to inspire and to entertain the minds of younger ones. They help the younger ones understand the difference between good and bad; But <strong>some grow with fairy tales emblazoned in their minds, wanting everything to be perfect and good, with a belief that life too, like a fairy tale, ends on a happy note.</strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Illusions are false beliefs that seem to be true, but which are actually untrue</strong>. When you recognize your illusions, it is a liberating moment, because you can now choose a more empowering understanding. Any thought that is based on reality is safer for you, because it is grounded in the stable reality of this world.</p>
<p><strong>We should open our eyes wide, and not be directed by illusions, but let our conscious mind identify the reality.</strong> These experiences, which cause fear, anger, worry, mistrust, uncertainty, feelings of lack or inadequacy, etc., are only illusions. They keep you from seeing and experiencing your good.<br />
<strong>Life is a continuous journey of events and incidents.</strong> The truth is &#8211; we live in a crazy, mixed up world; crazy, but oh, so beautiful. Despite of all the things that we don&#8217;t like about this world, there are things in this world which make our life a wonderful experience.</p>

You can choose what you want to do, where you will do what you want to do. Who you want to marry, how many children you would love to have? The education you choose. We make choices about what we eat, drink, how we use our time, what we spend our money on, our appearance, the words we say, our actions, our public and private behaviors, our emotional responses, and our thoughts. <strong>Some of these choices will strengthen and empower you while others will hold you back in life.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Trust Yourself –</strong> This is one of the best ways to make good choices. <strong>Learning to listen to yourself rather than rely on opinions and suggestions of others is the first step to making choices that line up with your goals and values</strong>. Indifference is also a choice, and here are some thoughts of how it influences our life and directions&#8230;</p>
<p><strong><em>           Sometimes people do not notice the things we do for them until we stop doing them.</em></strong></p>
<p><strong><em><br />
</em></strong>The world&#8217;s default position is indifference.<strong> Indifference is a cruel reaction to someone else&#8217;s pain</strong>. A person suffers, another person in a position to help ignores their &#8220;Inner Light&#8221;, accepts their &#8220;Greater Shadow&#8221; and ALLOWS the person to suffer. <strong>Why do we allow indifference to be so pervasive?</strong> Sin? Greed? Selfishness? Fear? Perhaps all of these things. I honestly don&#8217;t know. What can be said is that we should choose not allow indifference to happen. We should listen to our &#8220;Inner Light&#8221;, ignore our fears and help those who cannot help themselves. <strong>Indifference is the enemy. It is anywhere and everywhere.</strong> If we are not in a position to help, we should always allow our heart to feel unconditional kindness, love and empathy for that suffering person.</p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.ido-doi.com/indifference-makes-all-the-difference/man-using-phone-while-bored-girlfriend-looks-on/" rel="attachment wp-att-3669"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-3669" title="Man Using Phone While Bored Girlfriend Looks On" src="http://www.ido-doi.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Corbis-42-20418247-300x226.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="226" /></a>Our attempts to prove our indifference; just end up showing others, that we actually do care.</strong> It is a slightly confusing concept…If you are indifferent to what is happening around you, this means that you are not paying attention to reality, to what is happening around you, and you cannot defend yourself in case you are in trouble, since you don&#8217;t notice anything. Indifference can be used in a good way, in relationships, for example - You can determine his feelings by realizing there is a spectrum of emotions; kind of like the game at the fair that shows how strong you are.  But i can speak individually with you on this subject, each case is different <img src='http://www.ido-doi.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  you can find me on skype, on the right sidebar. <p><a href="http://www.ido-doi.com/big-ego-or-self-esteem/woman-reining-in-her-alter-ego/" rel="attachment wp-att-3658"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-3658" style="border-style: initial; border-color: initial;" title="Woman Reining in Her Alter Ego" src="http://www.ido-doi.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/42-18121497-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" /></a><strong>Are you accepting full responsibility for your life?</strong> Taking credit for all of the wonderful events also requires taking full responsibility for our mistakes.<strong> Ego isn&#8217;t totally bad if it spurs you forward to create more with the time and talents you were given.</strong> Taking control of our own mind allows us to grow and achieve. Ego plays a part in that growth and achievement. There are times when the ego runs us and controls the way we do things. <strong>The truth is we sometimes hide behind a facade that everything is OK</strong> and that we have control over our destiny. Sometimes we do but sometimes we don&#8217;t and this is where there is a tendency for some to become antagonistic in their relationship with others. Whether it is a personal relationship between friends or family members or with the people you work with, you need to know what your own ego is if you want to handle people with a big ego.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong><em>A person with a big ego acts in a manner to suggest that they know everything and that there is nothing new under the sun.</em></strong></p>
<p><strong><em> A person with a big ego does not mean that he or she is a bad person. This is not about winning or losing.</em></strong></p></blockquote>
<p><strong>Egotists are essentially insecure people who are attempting to cover up their own suspicion that they are not quite as good as other people by pretending that they are more important.</strong> People with very high levels of self-esteem do not need to determine their self-worth by comparing themselves, either publicly or in their own minds, with others.</p>
<p><strong>Having a high level of self-esteem does not equate to being egotistical</strong>. If others wish to interpret your sense of self-worth as meaning that you have a big ego, let them. That&#8217;s their problem, not yours.</p>
<p><strong>You have to have something big, if you don’t have money. </strong> And the truth of the matter is that the more you give, the more you are worth. The more you are worth, the more wealthy you can become. If you want to be wealthy, develop your self-esteem. If you want to be prosperous, become abundantly worthy. <strong>Believe in you.</strong></p>

How we deal with the unexpected events in our lives will affect the outcome of such events. Many are able to find strength in adversity. Along with that comes a new source of courage that allows them to live life to the fullest, maybe in a different way, but certainly with a different attitude. <strong>Unexpected Events do not have to always have negative side effect</strong> though. There are times when the sun shines through and out of nowhere you pick the winning numbers on the lottery or after years of trying to conceive your spouse tells you she is pregnant.</p>
<p>&nbsp;<br />
Many of us spend much of our lives racing from one situation to the next, getting by well enough.<strong> We need for things to go as well as possible because we are often on the last-minute</strong>. This is a stressful way to live because often things do not go according to plan. Accidents happen or unforeseen eventualities occur. A little forward preparation would mke us feel in control of the situation, and remain calm. <strong>Allow a little extra time for yourself.</strong> Try to leave for appointments early, it allows for mishaps like getting lost or re-routed and allows you time to prepare mentally and physically for the meeting.</p>

It comes to us in the silence when we lovingly accept our &#8220;unexpected happening&#8221; as a gift. A gift of wisdom.<strong> &#8220;Even the most daring and accomplished people have undergone tremendous difficulty</strong>. In fact, the more successful they are, the more they attributed their success to the lessons learned during their most difficult times. Adversity is our teacher. <strong><em>When we view adversity as a guide towards greater inner growth, we will then learn to accept the wisdom our soul came into this life to learn.&#8221;</em></strong> ~Barbara Rose</p>

<p><strong>Stress is widely accepted as a modern affliction. Everyone is stressed,</strong> it seems. And the busier weare, the more we should take time to address our stress levels. And yet the reverse seems to be true! The busier we are, the less time we have to follow a stress relief programme. How many times I have heard, &#8220;I do not have time to relax!&#8221; I have even said it myself, I am sad to say. And how self defeating is that?<strong> Stress is a killer, and if you do not find time to reduce your stress levels, they will only increase.</strong></p>
<p><em><strong>Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about unexpected life events and the stress it brings. But you CAN DO something about how you handle and respond to them. </strong></em></p>

It seems that more and more people are complaining about the lack of time or the inability to spend sufficient quality time with their friends or family.</p>
<p><strong>There are little tips and tricks you can do to change your lifestyle and grab back some of that lost time.</strong></p>
<p>It&#8217;s all very well managing your time, but you can only do it effectively if you&#8217;re good at knowing how long something will take you to do.<strong> Once you know how long something is going to take, schedule it</strong>. Got a business lunch? Sure, you&#8217;ve been given an hour, but allow for it to run over if you&#8217;re discussing many things in that period of time.</p>
<p>Once you put something on your mind, don’t change the plans until you have it done (<strong>Start by writing your goals, identifying the steps to get there, and creating a timeline</strong>. This will go a long way to keeping you on track day to day.). <strong>Always have half an eye (but not full, distracting focus) on the clock.</strong> If you&#8217;ve already followed the tip in knowing how long certain tasks take, then you&#8217;re already one step ahead of the game when completing them to schedule and on time.</p>
<p>I will give you 3 questions, which you have to give yourself before you start doing something (this will keep your focus, and will organize your time step by step):</p>

<li style="text-align: left;"><em><strong>o    Do I know what I need to do?</strong></em></li>

It may seem sad to say it but <strong>we live in a time where many people just don&#8217;t take the time needed to spend with family</strong>. Just 20 or 30 years ago, families would do things together, talk about their day over dinner and enjoy family BBQs and other get-togethers. This isn&#8217;t the case as much anymore. Is it that families no longer care about each other as much as they once did or is something else to blame?<br />
<strong>Begin with baby steps and devote yourself to spending more time with your family.</strong> Even if you don&#8217;t have long hours to hang out together, make what time you do have quality time and everyone will benefit from the experience.</p>
<p><strong>Too much sleep is also a time wasting.</strong> One of the researchers said that people who sleep too much find it hard to rest at night because they spend too much time in bed. He suggested one way to get rid of insomnia and of time wasting, is to spend less time in bed.</p>
<p><strong>Whatever you do, honor your plans.</strong> Do not change your mind or beg off at the last minute. If you do, your family will come to know that you do not consider them important enough to spend time with, and eventually, they will not consider you important, either.</p>
<p><strong>Once wasted, time is the only resource that cannot be replaced nor recovered &#8211; no matter how great the effort or monetary reward!</strong></p>
