A little girly quilt for a new baby girl. This was fun and easy to make. I used mostly fabric that I had, the fairy fabric in the center and floral matching fabric is from Henry Alexander and I had been holding on to it. I'm so glad I used it for this quilt, I love how it turned out.

Wow, I haven't been here for a while. But, I'm back now and wanted to post pics from my trip to Sisters, OR. I went with my Mom and met up with my Aunt over there. The weather was perfect, the quilts were inspiring and amazing. We had a great time. I have so many great images to share I'll do this in a couple of posts.
This was probably my most fav quilt of the show. I love the blue/gold color scheme here and the simple blocks.

I like to make a handmade gift for my girlfriends each Christmas and this year I decided to make wristlet keychains that I have seen online. I ordered my supplies from Everything Ribbons. I used my own fabric scraps and whipped these up in a matter of hours. This was such a fun project and my friends all loved them. I have to say that this was a pretty inexpensive project and is a great gift or favor for a party.
Tracy and Michelle of Everything Ribbons were incredibly helpful and have all the supplies you could think of for DIY projects like this.
I'm totally in love with the Dream On fabric line by Urban Chicks. Isn't it dreamy?
I guess I've been on a little blog break, I'm hoping to be here more often this Fall.
I miss my blog! I have thought about posting here a lot lately but I just don't ever seem to find the time. I have been busy sewing though, and here is my finished eye spy snowball quilt that I made for my son. I went to a quilt guild retreat in February and was able to sew most of this top in one day. This was a really fun quilt to make and I love how bright and cheery it looks on his bed. I backed it with the sock monkey line of polka dot flannels, it is super soft.
We celebrated May Day yesterday by delivering these beauties to some of our neighbors.
I realized today that I never posted pics of my finished quilts I made for my two sisters. The hubby and I did a little photo shoot out in the country but I wasn't real happy with how the photos turned out. It was a good lesson in lighting and shooting quilts. The sunlight on the quilts made the quilting really stand out but its hard to see the actual pattern of the quilt.
I really enjoyed working on these two quilts simultaneously. The quilting was done by Louisa Otis of UFO Studio in Petaluma. She did a beautiful job.
