Fortnite has released hundreds of gliders over the years, but only a few became truly rare. Here are the rarest ones and how players got them.

Gliders are one of the most basic pieces of equipment available in Fortnite. Besides allowing you to navigate your way mid-air to a particular spot on the map, these things can also act as an outlet for your style very early on during a match when you unfurl it near other players, also descending from the sky, in modes such as Battle Royale.

Apart from the default glider, several others can be obtained through a few different ways in the live-service game. These methods range from unlocking gliders by completing certain event objectives to outright purchasing them from the Item Shop using V-Bucks.

Different types of gliders in Fortnite

Over the course of several years, a plethora of unique gliders have been released in Fortnite. And, a sizable chunk of them were introduced in the game as part of a bigger collaboration with popular IPs, such as Marvel and Star Wars. Some examples of gliders born out of such tie-ups include the Silver Surfer’s Surfboard and the Millennium Falcon.

While most gliders have the same standard animation, a limited number of gliders come with their own unique animation. For instance, the Magnetic Steps glider triggers an action that makes your in-game avatar descend down improvised stairs instead of gliding downwards.

Rarest Fortnite gliders in 2026

Over the past several years, plenty of gliders have hit Fortnite, with some of them eventually leaving to never return. The following is a list of such gliders that have the lowest ownership across the board and hence are among the rarest gliders in the multiplayer game.

1. Mako

This glider’s “Uncommon” rarity actually does a disservice to its real-world status, where it is rarer than even those gliders that have “Mythic” rarity in-game. The Mako glider sports a motif inspired by the Mako shark and was one of the first special gliders added to the game. It was available during Chapter 1 Season 1 and was unlocked by reaching Level 25 during that season.

Courtesy of an accidental listing, it briefly returned to Fortnite via the Item Shop in January 2018, selling for 500 V-Bucks, but was quickly taken down due to fan backlash. And, it hasn’t made an appearance like that since then.

2. Discovery

The starry-looking Discovery glider was born out of a promotion with Samsung and was part of a wider collection, called the Galaxy Set, which also included a themed skin, back bling, pickaxe, and more. It was launched in November 2018, during Chapter 1 Season 6, and was only redeemable by those players who purchased select Samsung devices. Since the devices in question were high-end and expensive, not a lot of players bought them, making the Discovery glider among the rarest in the game.

3. Beast Brella

Emblazoned with eye-catching branding and colors sourced from the logo of popular YouTube personality MrBeast, the Beast Brella came out in December 2022 (Chapter 4 Season 1) as part of the MrBeast Set in the game’s Icon Series. As is obvious, it is an umbrella-type glider, which was awarded to those players who placed in the top 100,000 in the limited-time Fortnite event titled MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge.

4. Slipstream

A glider of “Epic” rarity, Slipstream is extremely rare because it was available only for a few months between February and May in 2018 (during Season 3). Since it was an exclusive item in the Twitch Prime Pack #1, players who wanted to redeem this urban camo-style glider had to have an active Twitch Prime membership and link their Twitch app with their Epic Games account by the deadline date.

5. High Octane

High Octane is an “Epic” rarity glider from February 2018 (Season 3). Its striking appearance draws inspiration from a Ford Mustang car from 2014’s John Wick and was part of the Hired Gun set. The Fortnite players who own it today had to complete any five challenges from the Tier 100 Challenges that were active throughout the season.

6. Flappy

This happy-faced “Rare” glider belongs to the PlayStation Plus Celebration Pack 3. This bundle was redeemable for PS Plus subscribers for a limited time from September 2018 (Season 5). Its design is a PlayStation-themed makeover of a different glider, named Googly, which came out in April that same year (Season 3).

7. Rotor

Rotor is a standard Fortnite glider of “Epic” rarity and was bundled in the Double Helix Set from October 2018 (Season 6). This particular set came with the limited-time Nintendo Switch Double Helix Bundle, which hit the shelves in October 2018 (Season 6). Other in-game items included in this bundle were Double Helix skin, Telemetry back bling, Pinpoint pickaxe, and 1,000 V-Bucks.

8. Stealth Pivot

This “Rare” glider is part of the Counterattack set and was introduced in Fortnite in April 2019 (Season 8). It was exclusively available in the GeForce Fortnite Bundle 2, which was a limited-time offer available with the purchase of an eligible Nvidia GeForce GPU.

Apart from the Stealth Pivot glider, the special bundle also packed the Stealth Reflex skin, Stealth Response Unit back bling, Stealth Angular Axe pickaxe, and 2,000 V-Bucks. Incidentally, this glider is an updated version of the Pivot glider, which was part of the first GeForce Fortnite Bundle.

9. Snowflake

Snowflake is yet another umbrella glider that rolled out in December 2017 during Season 2. This item of “Common” rarity has the distinction of being the first themed umbrella glider in Fortnite. To unlock the Snowflake glider, players had to achieve a Victory Royale during that particular season.

10. Founder’s Umbrella

The Founder’s Umbrella is a “Common” glider in name only, as it hasn’t been up for grabs in the game for many years and is hence owned by a limited pool of players. This umbrella-type glider was released in 2017 during the pre-season, aka Season 0.

The players who purchased the Founder’s Pack for Fortnite Save The World received the Founder’s Glider, which, upon winning a match, would transform into Founder’s Umbrella. It joined the list of rarest gliders after the Founder’s Pack went off the market in June 2020, when Save The World finally left early access.

Wrapping up

Almost all entries in this list haven’t become available for new players for several years now. However, that doesn’t mean things can’t change in the future. Up until December 2024, the Aerial Assault One glider was considered to be among the rarest gliders in Fortnite, before that changed when it returned to the Item Shop, as part of the OG Season Shop, and remained on sale for over a year.

In the event that Epic conducts a similar promotion or somehow accidentally lists an old glider (rare, but it does happen), one of the aforementioned gliders could actually become available to grab for players in the future. Therefore, it’s best to keep an eye out on the in-game store.

X just flipped a switch that could fundamentally change how people experience the platform. Instead of Grok sitting quietly in the sidebar as a chatbot, X is now letting the AI build and manage your feed itself. You choose a topic, and Grok generates an entire timeline around it using posts pulled from across the platform.

At first glance, it sounds like a smarter version of Twitter Lists. In practice, it feels much bigger than that. This marks a clear shift away from the original Twitter model, where your feed was shaped mostly by who you followed and what you manually curated over time. Now, AI decides what’s relevant, what deserves visibility, and what stays in front of you.

And honestly, after testing it, the experience is surprisingly compelling. But there’s also a trade-off most people probably won’t think about until much later.

Grok AI can now curate your entire X timeline

X is rolling out a new system where Grok creates personalized timelines around specific interests you choose.

Instead of relying only on:

For You

Following

Or manually built Lists

…you can now tell Grok what you care about, and the AI assembles a feed around it automatically.

The difference is important.

This isn’t keyword filtering. Grok analyzes context, engagement patterns, and topic relationships to surface posts it believes are genuinely relevant.

According to Nikita Bier, these timelines become especially effective for topics you already interact with regularly.

There’s also a smaller but useful addition: you can now temporarily snooze categories you don’t want inside the For You feed for 24 hours, helping reduce clutter without permanently reshaping recommendations.

How Grok-powered timelines actually work

The setup starts with selecting topics.

X currently offers around 75 categories, including:

Technology

Gaming

Politics

Business & Finance

Science

Sports

Movies & TV

Stocks & Economy

Once selected, Grok scans posts across X and builds a dedicated stream around those interests.

What makes it different from older recommendation systems is how aggressively it prioritizes relevance over chronology or follower relationships.

That means:

Posts from accounts you don’t follow can dominate the feed

Discussions are surfaced based on context, not just hashtags

The timeline continuously evolves as you engage with it

And because each topic gets pinned directly to your home tab, switching between focused feeds becomes frictionless.

During testing, the experience felt almost too good at understanding intent. The timelines become highly tuned surprisingly quickly, especially around niche interests. That’s also what makes them potentially addictive.

How to set up a custom X feed using Grok AI

Here’s how the feature currently works:

Open the X app and swipe left on the For You, Following, and any other pinned Lists.

Now, tap Add (the plus icon) > Add Timelines and select up to 10 topics like Business & Finance, Sports, Technology, Politics, Stocks & Economy, News, Science, Movies & TV, etc.

You can rearrange the themes you have chosen by dragging.

Grok generates a custom timeline and pins it to your home tab. You can access them from any platform.

The categories go deeper than broad themes too. You’ll find highly specific interests mixed in with larger ones, which gives the feeds a more personalized feel than standard topic-following systems.

And this is only one part of what Grok is becoming on X. The AI is also expanding into features like Visual Intelligence and deeper conversational tools. If you’re exploring the ecosystem already, it’s worth learning how to use Grok on iPhone to understand where X is heading with its AI strategy.

The catch: This isn’t free

Right now, the feature is limited.

Custom Grok timelines are:

Rolling out to X Premium users

Currently focused on iOS

Expected to expand to Android later

That matters because it signals something bigger. X is increasingly separating the platform into two experiences:

A free version driven by traditional algorithms

A paid version enhanced and personalized through AI

In other words, AI-powered relevance is becoming part of the subscription pitch.

If you don’t have Premium, you can still shape your feed manually by following or unfollowing topics, but the AI-generated experience remains gated behind the paywall.

The trade-offs most people won’t notice immediately

This is the part that feels more important long term. Because once a feed becomes genuinely good at predicting what you want to see, you stop thinking about how much influence it has.

Filter bubbles get sharper: We already live in algorithmic bubbles. If Grok learns your preferences too well, your feed could feel perfectly curated, but intellectually limiting.

Discovery becomes guided, not organic: The best content I’ve ever come across was purely accidental. With the AI-driven discovery, you lose that aspect.

You stop questioning the feed: When a timeline feels right, you stop analyzing it. You trust it. And that trust gives the system more influence than you realize.

Ads will get smarter, not fewer: If Grok understands your interests deeply, ads feel like recommendations. When testing, I found an ad in the second spot in each timeline.

Final take: X is becoming an AI content engine

At first glance, this looks like another feature rollout. It’s not.

X is gradually shifting from a traditional social network into an AI-driven content platform where discovery, relevance, and engagement are increasingly controlled by machine learning systems instead of user decisions.

And honestly, the experience works. It’s smoother, faster, and more personalized than manually curating feeds yourself.

But the more effective it becomes, the more important the underlying question feels: If AI decides what deserves your attention every day, how much of your perspective is still entirely your own?

Most foldable phone cases completely ruin the reason you bought a foldable in the first place. Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is thin, futuristic, and surprisingly elegant in hand. But the wrong case can turn into a bulky device that features uncomfortable hinges and rough plastic edges.

The good news is that foldable cases are finally improving and offering better grip, light drop protection, and minimal added bulk. After testing a bunch of Pixel 10 Pro Fold cases over the past few weeks, here are the ones I’d genuinely consider worth buying.

What I look for in a good Pixel 10 Pro Fold case

Google made the Pixel 10 Pro Fold noticeably more durable with a new gearless hinge, IP68 protection, and a thinner overall design. That means you need to focus less on tank-like protection and more on preserving the actual foldable experience.

I learned this the hard way after trying oversized hinge-protection cases that made the Pixel 10 Pro Fold feel twice as thick in my pocket. Some even made one-handed use genuinely uncomfortable.

Here’s what I now look for before recommending any foldable case:

Keep the phone slim enough for one-handed use and preserve the original experience.

Add grip without sharp edges. That’s why I prefer aramid fiber, matte TPU, or soft-touch finishes over hard glossy plastic.

Avoid oversized hinge protection unless you travel frequently or use your phone outside. It adds bulk, attracts dust, makes gestures complicated, and even hinders opening the device.

Make sure the case supports Qi2 or MagSafe accessories and wireless charging capabilities.

Protect corners and cameras without huge lips.

Feel balanced when folded and unfolded.

Some cases rely on adhesive strips to stay secure. They work, but removing the case later can be irritating. So, double-check it as well.

Best Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold cases worth buying in 2026

1. Google PixelSnap Phone case: Official Pixel 10 Pro Fold case

Google’s own PixelSnap case is slim, minimal, and surprisingly refined in hand. Made from microfiber and PC, it survived drops and bumps pretty well. Also, the matte finish keeps the surface stain-free and grippy. You can choose from two color options to match your Fold.

What I liked most during testing was the snug fit. The alignment feels tighter and more precise, especially around the camera housing and hinge edges. So, there’s no extra bulk or friction to unfold the phone.

The Pixelsnap magnetic integration is also excellent. I can snap on the accessories in one go without misalignment, unlike some cheaper MagSafe-compatible cases.

Expensive for the level of protection

2. Spigen Slim Armor Pro MagFit: best rugged case

This is the case I’d trust during travel. Spigen finally figured out that foldable users don’t want their phone looking like a brick with a heavy-duty case.

The Slim Armor Pro provides meaningful drop protection without being obtrusive. The semi-automatic sliding hinge cover appears to be an improvement over other older foldable cases I’ve tested, and the AirCushion technology in the corners and lifted edges genuinely makes the Fold feel safer.

Yes, it adds a bit of thickness. There’s no way around that. But compared to most rugged foldable cases, this one feels slimmer. I vouch for this case because it has strong built-in magnets that support MagSafe and Pixelsnap. So, if you use wireless chargers for your Pixel Fold, go for it.

Latercase is my absolute favorite among minimalist cases. Their thin aramd case is extremely thin, but at the same time, the most effective one. Instead of wrapping the phone in thick armor, they simply make it grippier and less stressful to hold.

With only 0.6mm thickness and 10g weight, it barely changes the form factor of your Pixel 10 Pro Fold and supports wireless charging. Honestly, after a few minutes, I forget there’s a case attached. The precision laser-cut ensures every edge and camera bump is properly protected.

Additionally, the durable matte finish keeps the phone safe from slipping off. You can choose from five different color options. However, the phone’s hinge remains bare, so I won’t recommend it for outdoor use.

4. FNTCASE Clear Case for Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold: show off your phone

I usually don’t like clear cases because most of them turn yellow or feel cheap after a few weeks. This one surprised me.

The FNTCASE keeps the Pixel Fold’s design visible while adding decent grip and military-grade shock absorption. It has a rigid polycarbonate back panel and flexible shockproof TPU bumpers. However, the extra raised bezels made me feel a plasticy bulk when testing.

The case has integrated magnets for wireless charging and accessories. If you bought the Pixel 10 Pro Fold in a color you actually want to show off, this is the case that makes the most sense.

While everyone else is chasing ultra-modern minimalist designs, TORRO made a foldable wallet case that feels classy, premium, and surprisingly functional.

The premium top-grain cowhide leather texture gives the Fold excellent grip, and carrying cards and cash inside actually made me leave behind my wallet without any worries. The best part is that I use the case as a stand horizontally when video calling.

TORRO has even included magnets for wireless charging support. The soft microfiber lining in the inner frame ensures the phone is safe from scratches and marks. For better safety, you get a magnetic clasp for closure. However, it’s still bulky and definitely not for everyone.

Foldable phones are naturally great when used for media and multitasking purposes, so the built-in kickstand actually makes sense here instead of feeling gimmicky.

The Ghostek case stand feels sturdy enough for YouTube, video calls, and split-screen multitasking without wobbling constantly. I also liked that it didn’t go overboard with rugged styling and kept the back panel clear. The brand claims 8ft drop protection.

However, it got a yellowish tint after a few days, and the volume buttons are not very tactile.

My favorite picks after testing the best foldable cases

After using all of these, I realized my preferences had changed dramatically. A year ago, I thought maximum protection mattered most on foldables. Now I think bad bulky cases ruin foldables more than minor scratches ever will.

In case I am buying a case for my Pixel 10 Pro Fold, I will get either of the following:

Latercase for everyday minimalist use

Spigen Slim Armor Pro for travel

That’s it. Everything else depends on whether you specifically want wallet functionality, kickstands, or transparent designs.

Protect your Pixel Fold in style!

The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is too good-looking to hide inside a bad case.

After testing these options, I think the best foldable case is the one that protects the phone and improves grip without constantly reminding you it exists. Slim cases like the Google Pixelsnap and Latercase preserve the original feel of the Fold, while rugged options like Spigen and TORRO make more sense for travel or heavy daily use.

Ultimately, the right case depends on how you use your foldable. But personally, I’d rather deal with a small scratch than carry a case that makes a premium foldable feel cheap and oversized.

Update: Verified the latest Anime Apocalypse Codes on May 08, 2026

Anime Apocalypse is the kind of Roblox game that gets chaotic fast. One moment you are fighting zombies in anime-inspired maps like Shibuya, and the next moment you are rolling for stronger abilities, better gadgets, and traits that can completely change your run.

That is why codes matter here. They give you free Coins, Raid Tickets, Trait Rerolls, Ability Spins, Gadget Spins, and timed boosts, so you can start stronger instead of grinding from zero. Below, you will find all active Anime Apocalypse codes, what they give, how to redeem them, and what to do if a code does not work.

All Active Anime Apocalypse codes

5KFOLLOWERS!: 15,000 Coins, 40 Raid Tickets, 40 Trait Rerolls, 3 Normal Ability Spins, 3 Normal Gadget Spins, 12 Lucky Ability Spins, 12 Lucky Gadget Spins, 2x Drops, 2x Mastery, 2x Coins, and 2x EXP boosts.

SORRYFORBUGS: 50,000 Coins, Raid Tickets, Trait Rerolls, Normal Ability Spins, Normal Gadget Spins, Lucky Ability Spins, Lucky Gadget Spins, and 2x Drops boost.

IAMATOMIC: Coins, Raid Tickets, Trait Rerolls, Ability Spins, Gadget Spins, Lucky Spins, and timed boost rewards.

HEADOFHEI: Coins, Raid Tickets, Trait Rerolls, Ability Spins, Gadget Spins, Lucky Spins, and timed boost rewards.

SHADOWGARDEN: Coins, Raid Tickets, Trait Rerolls, Ability Spins, Gadget Spins, Lucky Spins, and 2x Drops boost.

THANKSFOR7KPLAYERS: Coins, Raid Tickets, Normal Ability Spins, Normal Gadget Spins, Lucky Ability Spins, Lucky Gadget Spins, and timed boost rewards.

THANKSFOR5K: Coins and Spins. This code may require a new or private server.

THXFORPLAYING: Coins, Normal Ability Spins, Normal Gadget Spins, Lucky Ability Spins, Lucky Gadget Spins, and a 2x Coins boost.

RELEASE!: Coins, Normal Ability Spins, Normal Gadget Spins, Lucky Ability Spins, Lucky Gadget Spins, and a 2x Drops boost.

SORRYFORDELAY: Coins, Raid Tickets, Normal Ability Spins, Normal Gadget Spins, Lucky Ability Spins, Lucky Gadget Spins, 2x Drops, and 2x Coins boosts.

Redeem these codes as soon as possible. Roblox codes can expire without much warning, and some Anime Apocalypse codes may only work on new or private servers.

The exact reward amount may change after updates, but the important part is simple: these codes give you the resources you need to roll more, upgrade faster, and survive longer.

If you want more free rewards, check out the latest Roblox RIVALS codes, Tower Defense Simulator codes, and our complete list of all Roblox game codes.

Expired Anime Apocalypse codes

There are no confirmed named expired Anime Apocalypse codes from the sources we checked right now.

If one of the active codes stops working, it may be expired, but it could also be a server issue. Try joining a new server or private server before assuming the code is dead.

How to redeem Anime Apocalypse codes

Anime Apocalypse makes code redemption simple. You do not need to finish a tutorial or reach a certain level first.

Open Anime Apocalypse on Roblox.

Click the Codes button on the right side of the screen.

Enter a working code in the text box.

Press Confirm to claim your rewards.

Copy and paste the codes exactly as written. Some codes use capital letters, numbers, or punctuation, and even one missing character can stop the reward from working.

Why your Anime Apocalypse code is not working

If a code does not work, do not panic right away. In Anime Apocalypse, the problem is often the server, not the code itself.

Some new codes only work on the latest game version. Public servers can stay open on older versions for a while, so the safest fix is to join a fresh server or create a private server. Private servers usually load the newest version of the game, which gives the code a better chance of working.

If that does not fix it, check the code spelling. Roblox codes are usually case-sensitive, so it is better to copy the code directly instead of typing it by hand. You can also restart Roblox to make sure your client is fully updated before trying again.

What is Anime Apocalypse?

Anime Apocalypse is a Roblox survival hack-and-slash game where anime-style heroes fight waves of zombies. The game mixes fast combat, dungeon-style survival, character upgrades, and gacha-like spins for abilities and gadgets.

The setup is easy to understand but fun to grind. You enter a map, clear zombie waves, pick perk cards between rounds, and keep improving your character with better abilities, gadgets, traits, and mastery. Maps like Shibuya and Impel Down give the game a strong anime feel, while the zombie waves keep every run active.

Codes help because they give you the resources that usually take time to earn. Coins help with progression, Raid Tickets give access to more content, Trait Rerolls help fine-tune your build, and Spins let you chase stronger abilities and gadgets.

The game is available on PC, mobile, and console, so you can play it on most Roblox-supported devices.

How to get more Anime Apocalypse codes

The best place to find new Anime Apocalypse codes is the official Anime Apocalypse Discord server. After joining, you may need to verify with Rover, then check the code channel for new drops.

You can also follow the Anime Apocalypse Dev Roblox group for game updates. Still, codes are easy to miss because admins may not always ping everyone when a new one drops.

Bookmark this page so you can quickly check the latest Anime Apocalypse codes whenever the game gets an update, hits a player milestone, or releases a new reward drop.
The post Anime Apocalypse codes (May 2026) appeared first on iGeeksBlog.

Apple is using four new Indian short films to show that the iPhone 17 Pro Max can be more than a good phone camera. It can be a practical filmmaking tool for small crews.

The films were made through MAMI Select: Filmed on iPhone, a program from the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image. Apple featured four emerging directors: Shreela Agarwal, Ritesh Sharma, Robin Joy, and Dhritisree Sarkar.

All four used the iPhone 17 Pro Max to shoot their films. They also used Apple hardware like the MacBook Pro with M5 and iPad Pro with M5 for parts of the production and editing process.

The point is not that an iPhone can replace a full cinema setup. The stronger point is that it can make filming easier, cheaper, and more flexible for independent creators.

The iPhone helped filmmakers shoot in harder places

Agarwal used the iPhone’s stabilization while moving across rocks and beach terrain for her film 11.11. She also used ProRes RAW to handle low-light Mumbai street scenes and mixed lighting.

Sharma used Cinematic mode in She Sells Seashells to shift focus during dreamlike scenes. His team also used Audio Mix to reduce wind and crowd noise during beach shoots in Goa.

Joy used Action mode to keep shots stable while filming from a small boat. His team edited 4K footage on a MacBook Pro with M5 without using lower-quality proxy files.

Sarkar used the Blackmagic Camera app with Tentacle Sync and turned an iPad Pro into an on-set monitor. Her team also used ProRes RAW and Apple Log 2 to shape the film’s final look.

These are not random feature callouts. They show why a phone can matter on a small set. It is easier to carry, easier to place, and less expensive than traditional gear.

Apple’s real argument is access

Smartphone filmmaking is already common, but Apple is trying to push the iPhone into more serious indie work. The MAMI project gives that idea a stronger case because the films were made around real production limits, not just camera demos.

For new filmmakers, the biggest problem is often not imagination. It is money, gear, crew size, and access. A phone cannot solve all of that, but it can reduce the gap between wanting to make a film and actually shooting one.

That is where the iPhone 17 Pro Max fits best. It gives small teams a lighter setup that can still support pro workflows like RAW capture, external monitoring, 4K editing, and color grading.

Apple has promoted Shot on iPhone projects for years. This one feels more grounded because it focuses on young filmmakers using the phone to tell regional stories with fewer barriers.

The takeaway is simple: the iPhone is not replacing cinema cameras. It is becoming a serious option for filmmakers who need to make the most of limited resources.
The post Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max gets a real indie filmmaking test in four Indian short films appeared first on iGeeksBlog.

Apple has reportedly reached a major stage in the development of its long-rumored AirPods with built-in cameras.

According to Bloomberg, the project has now entered the Design Validation Testing stage, where prototypes are said to feature near-final hardware and capabilities. The report suggests Apple’s camera-equipped AirPods have moved well beyond early experimentation and are now in advanced internal testing.

Apple is using the cameras for visual AI features

The cameras won’t be used for taking photos or recording video. Instead, they’re expected to serve as visual input for Siri and other AI features.

The idea is that the earbuds can understand the environment around the user in a similar way to how visual AI tools currently analyze uploaded images. For example, users could look at ingredients in a kitchen and ask what meal they could make, or receive contextual reminders based on objects nearby.

Apple is also exploring navigation features tied to the cameras. Rather than only giving standard turn-by-turn directions, Siri could reference nearby landmarks while guiding the user.

Both earbuds are expected to include cameras, and the design may feature slightly longer stems than current AirPods Pro models to make room for the added hardware.

Visual privacy indicators and cloud processing

Apple is also adding a small LED indicator that lights up whenever visual data is being processed or sent to the cloud.

The system appears to rely heavily on AI processing connected to Apple’s next-generation Siri platform, which may explain why the product’s timeline shifted. Bloomberg says Apple originally targeted an earlier launch window, though delays tied to Siri pushed the schedule back.

The AirPods are currently in the DVT phase, which is one of the final testing stages before production after that comes Production Validation Testing, where Apple begins preparing for early manufacturing.

The report also claims Apple expects strong demand for the product and is already working on securing components for larger-scale production.

Would you buy AirPods with built-in cameras for AI features like this? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
The post AirPods with built-in cameras are now nearing final design stages appeared first on iGeeksBlog.

Apple is still developing a small camera-equipped wearable that could launch as early as next year, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The device is described as an AirTag-sized pendant that would work with the iPhone and give Siri a way to understand more of the world around the user.

The pendant would reportedly include cameras, a microphone, and its own chip, but it would rely heavily on a paired iPhone for processing. Apple is also said to be considering a speaker, though that decision has not been finalized.

The device could clip to clothing or be worn around the neck using a cord or chain. It would not have a display or laser projector, which makes it very different from Humane’s AI Pin. Apple’s approach sounds more like an iPhone accessory than a standalone AI device.

That matters because the iPhone would remain the main computer. The pendant would mainly collect visual and audio context, then pass that information to Siri and Apple Intelligence. If Apple can make that useful without making it feel creepy, the product could become a practical way to bring AI features into daily life.

Apple is also testing camera-equipped AirPods and smart glasses

The pendant appears to be part of a larger camera-wearables push inside Apple. Gurman says AirPods with cameras have reached an advanced testing stage, while the pendant is still behind that project. Apple is also still working on smart glasses.

Apple’s glasses are expected to work more like Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses than the Vision Pro. They would reportedly include cameras for photos and videos, plus microphones and speakers for calls, music, notifications, and Siri.

The glasses could also send camera data to Siri and Apple Intelligence. That could help with features like turn-by-turn walking directions, where the device needs to understand what the user is seeing.

Apple is reportedly testing multiple frame designs, including larger rectangular frames, slimmer rectangular frames, and oval or circular options. The company is also exploring colors such as black, ocean blue, and light brown.

Apple’s first smart glasses are not expected to include an augmented reality display inside the lenses. That makes them less ambitious than full AR glasses, but also more realistic as a near-term product.

The hard part is privacy and trust

An always-on camera pendant would immediately raise privacy questions. It could be useful for reminders, object recognition, navigation, accessibility, and hands-free capture. It could also feel uncomfortable in public if Apple does not make recording status, permissions, and data handling clear.

The iPhone-first design may help. Apple can keep the controls, settings, processing, and privacy prompts on a device people already know. The pendant would not need to replace the phone. It would only need to give Siri better context.

The timing also lines up with Apple’s expected Siri overhaul in iOS 27. A more capable Siri would benefit from a device that can see and hear what is happening around the user.

The pendant is still not a confirmed product, and Apple could cancel it before launch. But the direction is clear: Apple is exploring smaller AI wearables that depend on the iPhone, use cameras for context, and give Siri a bigger role outside the screen.
The post Apple is reportedly still working on an AirTag-sized AI pendant appeared first on iGeeksBlog.

Update: Verified the latest Tower Defense Simulator Codes on May 07, 2026

Tower Defense Simulator is one of those Roblox games where every small reward helps. A free crate, a skin, or a few extra resources may not instantly make you unstoppable, but it can make the early grind feel smoother and give you one more reason to jump back into another match.

TDS codes are usually released during updates, events, milestones, holidays, or special community moments. They do not stay active forever, so it is worth redeeming any working code as soon as you see it.

All Active Tower Defense Simulator codes

CHRISTMAS2025: 1 Christmas 2025 Crate

Codes in Tower Defense Simulator are case-sensitive. Copy the code exactly as shown above, including capital letters and symbols, otherwise the game may reject it.

Right now, there is only one safely confirmed working Tower Defense Simulator code from the available sources. Some older codes are still listed as active on one source, but another source already marks them as expired, so the safest approach is to try the confirmed code first.

If you want more free rewards, check out the latest Roblox RIVALS codes, Neo Tennis codes, and our complete list of all Roblox game codes.

How to redeem Tower Defense Simulator codes

Redeeming codes in Tower Defense Simulator is simple, but the button location can be easy to miss if you are opening the game after a long break. Once you are inside the experience, you only need the code menu and a working code.

Open Tower Defense Simulator on Roblox.

Enter a working code into the text box.

Press Redeem.

If the code is valid, your reward will be added to your account.

If the code does not work, check the spelling first. Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the code. If it still fails, the code has probably expired.

Why your TDS code is not working

Tower Defense Simulator codes can stop working without much warning. A code may be tied to a seasonal event, a major update, a visit milestone, or a limited-time celebration, so it may disappear once that moment passes.

The most common reasons are simple: the code was typed incorrectly, the code is case-sensitive, the code has expired, or the reward has special requirements. For example, one older code was reported to require the Farm Tower before it could be redeemed, which means some players could not use it even when it was listed as active.

If you are sure the code was entered correctly and it still does not work, it is better to treat it as expired instead of wasting more time on it.

How to get more Tower Defense Simulator codes

New TDS codes usually appear around updates, holidays, game milestones, and community announcements. The best places to watch are the official Tower Defense Simulator social pages, the Paradoxum Games Roblox group, and the official Discord server.

Players can also join the Paradoxum Games Roblox group for an extra starting cash bonus in-game. This is not the same as a redeemable code, but it can still help when you are starting a match and trying to place your first towers faster.

Bookmark this page if you want a simple place to check for new Tower Defense Simulator codes. We will update the list when new rewards are released or old codes stop working.

What is Tower Defense Simulator?

Tower Defense Simulator is a Roblox tower defense game where you place towers, defend your base, and fight through waves of enemies. The core loop is easy to understand but hard to fully master, especially when stronger enemies start pushing through your defenses.

Coins, gems, crates, skins, and towers all matter because they help you grow your loadout over time. Codes are not a replacement for playing the game, but they are a nice bonus when you want free rewards without grinding extra waves.

That is why TDS codes are always worth checking. Even one free crate can give you something useful, and in a game built around slow upgrades and better loadouts, every little reward counts.
The post Tower Defense Simulator codes (May 2026) appeared first on iGeeksBlog.

In recent years, bigger smartphones have become the norm. While larger screens are great for watching videos, gaming, and multitasking, I find it difficult to use my phone with one hand. Reaching the top of the screen or accessing certain controls always required me to adjust the position of my hands, slowing down, or risking a drop.

To solve this problem, Android includes a hidden one-handed mode gesture that makes the screen easier to reach. In this guide, I’ll show you how to enable and use one-handed mode to make large-screen Android phones much more comfortable to use.

What is Android’s one-handed mode?

Android’s one-handed mode is one of those features that sounds trivial until you actually use it. Instead of forcing your thumb to stretch across a massive display, it brings the entire interface down into reach, fundamentally improving how you use your phone.

It literally shrinks the usable portion of your screen and positions it toward the bottom half. That means notifications, menus, search bars, everything you normally struggle to reach, suddenly become accessible without adjusting your grip.

What surprised me most is how seamless it feels. I can just activate it with a simple gesture, and the UI shifts across most apps without breaking layouts or interactions.

How to enable one-handed mode (Step-by-step)

The process is easy, and once you set up the one-handed mode, you can enable it with a gesture.

Go to Settings on your phone and open System & updates.

Here, select System navigation and choose Gestures.

Go back to the main menu page and tap Accessibility and convenience.

Scroll down and select One-handed mode.

Toggle on One-handed mode.

On Pixel devices, the step will be: Settings > System > Gestures > One-handed mode, and turn it on. For Samsung OneUI, go to Settings > Advanced Features > One-handed mode and enable it. You can also customize how to activate it.

Note that the exact steps may be different based on your phone. If you can’t find the option, open Settings and type One-handed mode into the search bar.

Once enabled, you can activate it with a simple downward swipe near the bottom of the screen. The screen instantly drops into reach, and exiting it is just as easy: tap outside or swipe up.

First impressions: Felt weird, then addictive

Truthfully, my initial impression was that the screen was distorted since I wasn’t getting a full-screen experience.

But after a few hours, that discomfort disappeared, and usage became smoother. I stopped stretching my thumb, adjusting my grip, and thinking about how I was holding my phone. That’s when it became addictive. Not in a flashy, exciting way, but in a quiet, practical way.

Also, the gesture navigation helps to go back by swiping in from either edge of the screen. So, I don’t need to go all the way down to tap the back button in the navigation bar. The same applies to going to the home screen or opening recently used apps. Moreover, the entire bottom region becomes viable app space in the absence of the fixed button bar.

Other ways to enjoy one-handed mode

Shrinking the screen isn’t the only way to make a big phone easier to use. After testing different Android settings, I found a few tweaks that made everyday use feel much more comfortable.

1. Enable one-handed keyboard mode

This is honestly the tweak I ended up using more than Android’s actual one-handed mode.

Keyboard apps like Gboard and Microsoft SwiftKey enable you to scale down the keyboard and move it nearer to your thumb. So, there will be no need to extend all the way across the screen to hit the keys.

On Gboard:

Open the keyboard.

Tap the four-square menu and select One-handed. Otherwise, long-press the comma key and move to the one-handed sign.

Dock it to the left or right side.

2. Change the home screen grid layout

Dense home screen layouts make big phones feel even bigger. Switching from a tighter 5×6 grid to something like 4×6 immediately brought icons lower and accessible to my thumb. It additionally decreased unintentional touches since apps were not packed tightly together.

You can usually find this option under Home screen settings > Home screen layout and choose a larger icon layout. This sounds minor, but it changes how reachable your phone feels all day long.

3. Keep important apps at the bottom

After reorganizing my home screen, I stopped reaching the top half of the display nearly as often.

I now keep the Google search bar, WhatsApp, Chrome, Camera, Notes, and my office apps within the bottom two rows or dock area. That way, the apps I use most stay naturally within thumb range.

4. Use reachability features inside apps

Some apps already have built-in reachability tricks that are easy to miss.

For example:

Chrome lets you place the address bar at the bottom. Inside Chrome, go to the three dots menu > Settings > Address bar and choose the Bottom option.

Messaging apps support swipe gestures.

Camera apps also allow you to move the shutter controls lower.

Real-life use cases where it shines

One-handed mode is not meant for default, as you can’t enjoy the reels or content in a half-screen. Here are some situations when I resort to it.

1. Commuting

This is where it clicked for me.

Usually, I slow down or stop when replying to messages because typing one-handed is already hard enough. Checking notifications, using Maps, or navigating the UI makes it worse.

With one-handed mode, I didn’t need to shift my grip or use my second hand. Everything was just reachable.

2. Multitasking

I noticed this most at home. Holding a cup of coffee, cooking, carrying something, these are moments where you don’t want to fully engage with your phone, but you still need quick access.

Before, I’d either awkwardly juggle items or ignore my phone entirely. Now, I can quickly check messages, scroll, or tap through apps without breaking my flow.

3. Solving the small hands problem

If you have smaller palms, modern phones seem too big for grip.

One-handed mode doesn’t fix the size of your phone, but it fixes how you interact with it. And that distinction matters.

Instead of forcing your hand to adapt to the device, it adapts the interface to your hand. For me, it made my large phone feel practical again.

Things I wish I knew sooner

What surprised me most was the significance of gesture navigation in this context. With the combination of one-handed mode together with swipes, everything felt fluid and intentional. This universal gesture is so good that I wish iOS 27 takes the cue from Android.

I also assumed apps would break or look weird in this mode, but most of them handled it perfectly. Lastly, this mode isn’t just about convenience; it actually reduces strain. I didn’t notice how often I was stretching or readjusting my grip until I stopped doing it.

However, typing long messages still feels cramped. Landscape mode is basically useless here. And yes, there’s a tiny delay when activating it that can feel slightly clunky.

Even some power users argue it’s not the best solution. Alternatives like cursor-based navigation can feel smoother and less disruptive than shrinking the screen

Final verdict: Small feature, big impact

I’ve tested a lot of Android features over the years, and most of them are either impressive but forgettable or useful but rarely used. This one is different. It doesn’t look exciting with flashy demos or marketing hype. But it solves a real, everyday problem in a way that actually sticks.

If you struggle with your phone’s size, grip, or reaching the top of the screen, try the one-handed mode today. And let me know how you liked it.

A new rumor suggests Apple may be taking a very different approach to foldable phone design, one that could make its first foldable iPhone significantly easier to repair than current rivals.

According to renowned Apple leaker Instant Digital, Apple’s long-rumored foldable iPhone could feature a more modular internal structure designed to simplify repairs and disassembly. The information was shared in a recent post on Weibo, where the leaker claimed the device may become one of the most repair-friendly foldables once it launches.

Apple may be simplifying foldable internals

Foldable smartphones are notoriously difficult to repair due to their layered displays, complex hinges, and tightly packed internal components. Most current designs rely heavily on ribbon cables routed through the hinge mechanism, making repairs more complicated and expensive.

However, Instant Digital claims Apple is trying to avoid that problem with a cleaner internal layout. Instead of routing multiple cables through the hinge area, the company is reportedly redesigning the component arrangement to reduce internal complexity and improve modularity.

The new claim also aligns with an earlier report from the same leaker shared in February. At the time, Instant Digital suggested Apple planned to place the motherboard on the right side of the device while repositioning key components to minimize unnecessary cabling and free up additional internal space.

The foldable iPhone is also rumored to use a stacked internal structure that prioritizes both battery capacity and display space. According to the leaker, the device could feature the largest battery ever used in an iPhone.

Rumored specifications so far

Several reports have referred to Apple’s foldable device as the “iPhone Ultra,” though Apple has not confirmed the name or the product itself.

Current rumors suggest the device could launch alongside the iPhone 18 Pro lineup and may include:

A 7.8-inch inner display

A 5.5-inch outer display

Apple’s A20 chip

A custom C2 modem

Dual rear cameras

A 24MP under-display front camera

Touch ID support

Camera Control support

An eSIM-only design

As with most early Apple hardware leaks, details remain uncertain and could change before launch.

Still, the growing focus on repairability is particularly interesting. Foldable phones continue to face criticism for durability concerns and difficult repair processes, so Apple emphasizing easier servicing could become a major selling point if the rumors prove accurate.

Would improved repairability make you more interested in buying a foldable iPhone?
The post Apple’s ‘iPhone Ultra’ could set a new standard for foldable repairability appeared first on iGeeksBlog.
