Public schools socially transitioning gender-nonconforming kids (such as telling Sally she’s really Sam born in the wrong body; giving her “boy” clothes to change into; providing resources leading to puberty blockers, hormones, and eventual surgeries) is “that thing that never happens” according to LGBTQ+ progressives and their straight but oh-so-woke allies (teachers, educrats), but which apparently is happening all the time.

One of the additions in the Substack version is a discussion of the Log Cabin Republicans announcement that they will now label themselves as an advocacy organization for LGB Republicans and conservatives, dropping the “T” they added to their self-description in 2015, and the reasons behind this decision.

Matthew Vines, in a Substack follow-up to his controversial New York Times op-ed arguing against “Queer” as an identity designation, tries to make the case for an “LGBT” identity coalition, without the anti-normative “Q+” that simply seeks to elevate transgressiveness.
What Vines doesn’t want to grapple with, however, is how transgenderism, or gender-identity ideology, itself undermines the concept of same-sex attraction as well as gay/lesbian and women’s rights.
Encouraging gender-nonconforming children to consider whether they were “born in the wrong body,” as many progressive school districts now do (with or without parental consent) followed by social transitioning that puts proto-gay or just gender-confused kids on the road to medicalization; allowing biological males who identify as female (often with limited or even without various medicalizations) to participate in girls’/women’s sports and have access to female-only spaces; and demanding that sexual attraction be defined by gender identity, not biological sex, are now all fundamental tenets of the “T” advocacy embedded in “LGBT.”
Which is why the growing LGB counter-movement goes its own way, without T and Q+.

London Jewish Pride

Incredibly sad — rank anti-Semitism at the London “Pride” parade. Outright Marxism and Jew-hatred now define the woke identitarian left, which dominates LGBTQ+ activism.

Brendan O’Neill writes in The Spectator:

Someone shouting “Fuck you, Jews”. Another telling the Jews they’re baby-killers. A man suggesting the Jews should “go back” to their homeland.
A bloke telling Jews they’re “the most hated people in the world”. Where did this verbal mauling of Jews occur? At a neo-Nazi parade, perhaps? Actually it was at Pride in London.
Yes, the Pride parade on Saturday was scarred by what the Metropolitan Police are calling “anti-Semitic verbal abuse”. The rainbow-coloured shindig that claims to be all about “tolerance” was shockingly intolerant of Jews.
Pride London will show that “love always triumphs over hate”, said London mayor Sadiq Khan. Tell that to the gay Jews who were subjected to gross outbursts of hateful invective.

Homosexual acts are still illegal in 70 countries. In some, including Yemen, Nigeria, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, it carries the death penalty in law. In Iran and Afghanistan, executions are believed to be carried out. Here is what LGB Alliance is doing internationally.

The left seems to be taking two lines of attack: (1) It’s Trump’s fault because he controls the world and is making nice Muslim countries be anti-LGBTQ+, and (2) The ship is full of rich gay Trumpers who deserves whatever they get and serves them right.

Last month’s “Pride” events were increasingly dominated by the ugliest aspects of the LGBTQ+ left, including the world’s most ancient bigotry gussied up in woke language.

Take for instance, the rank anti-Semitism at the London “Pride” parade. Outright Marxism and Jew-hatred now define the identitarian “queer” left, which dominates LGBTQ+ activism.
