We switched to Droid phones a while ago, and haven’t looked back. I love my Droid, and recommend it highly!  There are so many things you can do with an Android phone.  There are also several applications you can get from the Android Market.  Some of those apps can actually help you save money.

Here are a few you might want to try.  You can find any of these money saving Android Applications by searching the Market on your Android phone.

Groupon

Groupon is a daily deals site. They feature an awesome deal each day for various cities around the country.  With the Groupon Androis Application you can purchase and download your groupon straight to your droid, then present it to the company for redemption.  No more printing!

Craigslist

With the Craigslist Android App you can get notifications when new items are registered on craigslist.  For example, if you’re looking to purchase a used Ford Expedition you just set up the alerts & you’ll be notified as soon as one is listed on Craigslist.  That makes it easy to get first dibs on the best deals.

Slick Deals

One of my favorite sites for finding hot deals is Slick Deals!  With the Android Slick Deals RSS Feed you can keep track of all the latest finds from Slick Deals.

Kids Eat For

The Kids Eat For Android App will show you nearby restaurants where kids can eat for free or cheap.

MobiQpons

The MobiQpons application for Android uses the GPS in your Android to show you the best deals around.  You should be able to just show the coupons/discounts on your Android to get the discount.  If you run into any problems using these coupons you can email android@mobiqpons.com.
