For a new item: The Therabreath Whitening oil mouth rinses are on sale for 7.79 at my store. They are spend $15 earn $5 RR. Plus, we have $2 ibotta rebates. It makes them $3.29 a piece which is an excellent price.

The RR scanned just fine in another transaction.

Yeah something I noticed if the machine is not working at all, I've been getting my RR. But if the machine is working and it did not print, then they are rejecting them.

Out of all the times I received my catalinas in the mail is when the machine was not working. I think you will receive your Colgate RR.

It was "supposed" to be working. The cashier said it was but I don't know for sure. I know their machines are down today. Cashier tells me after I purchased Colgate. I just submitted that receipt. Yet again, we shall see.

I'm pretty sure if we call Rite Aid, we won't get a response at all😂. I so miss them though.
I definitely hate the Catalina setup. I liked being able to take pics, dispute, ask questions. I really wish Wags would just do away with RR and make WC work they way BC did at RA. That would be so much easier. I'd probably shop there more.

I also haven't had any luck with new Catalina submissions either. Just vague reason. I even took picture of tag by item, but there is no longer any way to submit that proof. Plus you get reply very quickly, but no way to appeal. Con--Every bit of info inputted has to be exactly correct. And if you make a mistake no feedback to know where.
I suppose we can try calling rite aid and have them credit to card, after Catalina attempt has been made.

EARLY LOOK: this is the "week off" for the Crest $5/3 RR deal. There's one for $3/2 for $5-9 items, yawn.
Colgate has a $4 RR on $4-5 items, will have to check the new May 10 dqs to see what pops up. I'm thinking a $3/2 dq or two on pastes and brushes. They don't come for free any more.

New Colgate dqs, all exp 5-23:: $3/2 brushes/rinses good on $4-5 items; $3/2 on small Total, MaxFresh pastes also on $4-5 items; $5/2 on Total 5.1 oz, Sensitive 6 oz pastes which are $5 each. You could use each of these once and have a $1 net spend after dq and $4 RR. Assuming you can't roll the RR onto the same RR deal and get a similar RR, or do all 3 together and get three RRs.

Yeah they rejected me saying promotion quantity not met. I was expecting that since the machine was working and if it didn't print I wasn't gonna get it. Was your catalina machine working when you did the sheamoisture transaction?

Keep an eye out for Mando deodorant markdowns. I found a "bourbon leather" scent stick and a "bourbon leather" spray on clearance, each for $3.79. There are $3 ibotta offers, limit 3, and these qualify. (In fact, this was the fastest ibotta receipt approval I've had in weeks.)

Please let us know. I haven't had any luck with the new Catalina. I have submitted 3 times and not once has it worked. First time they said my purchase didn't qualify, even though I had done the same transaction before and it did. Second time, they said no because it printed at the register. I was standing there and several RR printed but not that one. Last week I submitted for Sheamoisture Bath and I didn't even get a response nor did I receive anything in the mail.

I think the limit is around $250 (for every 90 days I think) if they are using the same return system other retailers use.

Luckily (or unluckily depending on how you look at it), I often interact with a lot of younger cashiers who don't know anything about coupons so I have to show them but they don't mind it. Some of the older cashiers I interact with it are nice too and make sure I get my catalinas.

It's been a bit more common for some of the newer people to throw out the used RR or not put them in the register so I have to remind them. I really don't know why they don't go over that since the register does tell them how many coupons were scanned at the end of the day.

Interesting to know about the booster working w/o intervention. That might make returns more appealing to me if something goes awry.

That sucks because, if the store messes up and has to do redo a large transaction, that's the customer having to do returns. I think I have done 2 returns this year and both at Wags. I am always worried that I'll end up being flagged because I don't know what the limit is. Either way, I could have been fine if they couldn't do one. I'm even fine with them not knowing. The cashier's attitude and lack of professionalism was the biggest problem for me. Then, her saying she didn't know what a post void was but then rudely insisting that I don't know what I am talking about because a refund works exactly the same way was also an issue. That used to be one of my main stores but since she started working there, I don't go to that one as much.

Catalinas scanned just fine. That has been a crapshoot for me. Prior to yesterday, there were 2 different occasions when I checked my bag and realized that they had put my used RR back in there. First time, I tried it and it worked. Second time, it beeped. Then yesterday they worked🤷🏽‍♀️.

And yes, the booster credited automatically the second time. Maybe because of the full refund🤔. This was my first, and hopefully only, time having to do that.

A couple of reasons when it comes to Catalina.

There's three wires in the back. All 3 need to be plugged in. If 2/3 are plugged in, the light is green, but it's not going to print anything.

Then the STATUS light on the back side panel has to be green. It can't be red. If it's red, it won't print anything.

Then the whole system could be down and the only way to know is if someone calls Catalina (which no one likes doing).

The stores here don't do post-voids because of LP I think. Never knew the reason why they don't.

I'm surprised your catalinas worked a 2nd time. So the $7WC booster credited automatically w/o an issue the second time? If so, I'm guessing that's new since that wouldn't happen before.

Aveeno Facial Care is bogo50. There is this facial lotion that is $12.99 and has a $5 DQ

and then there are a couple of cleansers that are $14.99 and have $3 DQ. Total was $21.48 for both. This is the one time where slightly higher prices could have been better. The cleansers in my price range were either $12.99 or $14.99 online and this is the one time where they were they exact same price in the store. I was hoping for $13.49 for each one or a $13.99 on one of them. I'm still debating if I want to try anymore Kenvue deals.

Yep, at wags the X is always the Catalina machine, the Unknown of is machine on, have cats stopped printing and at my stores machine out of paper and system down

If you have a "earn $x wys $xx" Q, Nature Bounty can be a good deal to do. It is B1G1 this week, and you get $10 wys $25. We have a $5/2x DQ and the same IP Q works as well. However, it seems that only one IP can be used in a transaction.

Sorry for the long winded rant.
Some people🙄. Even though this story ends with things working in my favor, some of it was still irritating and unnecessary. Go to Wags this morning to do the Kenvue deal with Aveeno. I also wanted to do the spend $35 get $7 offer so I threw in a couple of eye washes and a couple of fillers. There is 1 lady who works at the store I ended up at who always seems to have a funky attitude. I went to a different Wags first, even though it was further away, just to avoid her but they didn't have everything I needed so I went to her store. Anyway, grab my items and my total after tax but before coupons is $41. I had $11 in DQ, $19 in RR and I paid $11 on a Visa gift card. I should have earned a $10 RR for Aveeno, $5 from Eye Wash and $7 from spend $35. I earned the $7 but nothing printed. I say to her, RR were supposed to print. She looks at me, shrugs and says, well nothing printed. I said, I'll need to return this. She said call the 800 number. I said, I am going to return it. There were other customers in line so I said, you can go ahead and ring them up first and she does. Comes back to me. I asked if she knew how to do a post void. She had no idea what I was talking about so I explained it to her. She says that the exact same thing will happen when you do a return. I said, no, I was wanting my digitals to go back and that on a return, Wags ends up giving you the money back (I was really hoping not to get store credit). She said, all your coupons do go back. I said, they actually don't. She looks at me, rolls her eyes and just walks off. She then calls for a manager. Emerging Store Manager aka Manager in Training comes up (still not understanding the point of the name change). She doesn't know what a post void either but she is nice. She informs me that the Catalina machine on that register is down but the other works. Do the return, which I hate because they had to scan my license, and it of course it takes back the $7 WC earned, which I knew, but it also puts the full $41 back on the Visa gc. Didn't think that would happen. As she is re-ringing me, Ms. Nasty Attitude tosses my $19 in RR on the counter, rolls her eyes again and says, here are her coupons. I could have told her that the money back included those but, since she wanted to give them to me, fine. I use them and now my total is $22. I pay with the Visa and still nothing prints but I do get my $7 WC back. I say to the manager that I hate dealing with Catalina. She says, call Wags, explain what happen and they should give you the $15. I was skeptical but I called and got the nicest lady. She informed me about a bunch of issues going on and then she did give me the $15 WC. Yay! In the end, I ended up with an extra $19 so I'll take it for my pain and suffering.
