Great ideas. A few years ago I had a huge stash of paper grocery bags--might have been close to 200--and brought them to the food pantry. I have a good supply of cloth bags that I use. Plastics were banned here a few years ago. Stores can charge a nickel or a dime now for paper.

Wanted to do a deal with the spend $60 get $12 WC since I had a bunch of RR. I kept hoping to get a paper booster but no such luck. I had to go ahead and do it today because the RR were expiring. I bought

2 Mielle Hair Care $16.48 - $10/2 DQ (These are sale tagged at $10.99 and bogo50 but rang up $12.49 so had to get price modified)
2 Colgate $12 - $10/2 DQ
1 Sheamoisture Body Wash $13.48 - $5 DQ
1 Sheamoisture Body Oil $6.24 ($12.49 reg. bogo50) - $2 DQ
1 Sheamoisture Bar Soap $8.49 - $2 DQ
1 Febreze Plug $3.50 - $3.50 DQ

Total: $60.70 - $32.50 DQ = $28.20
Got Back: $13 RR ($10 = Sheamoisture and $3 = Mielle), $12.60 WC and NOW a $7/$35 paper booster printed.🤨
I should also get something back from Fetch. Had to correct the receipt so we'll see.

Around 6 years ago they changed the barcodes on the catalina coupons to not allow point redemption in the same transaction when you are using one. When you attempt to use WC, the cashier will get a message on the screen warning that the customer will forefeit the WC earned from the coupon.

Correct. If it shows on the receipt it was scanned. They cannot manually enter the catalina but they can manually credit points but it would show up along the lines of CUST SERV points on the receipt.

Why doesn't it allow you to redeem Walgreens cash in the same transaction? I really thought the Catalina printout was a store coupon of $7 off $35 or more transaction, not earn $7 in Walgreens cash when you spend $35 or more. Given how it appeared on the receipt, that means the cashier scanned the Catalina printout, not a manual entry of the Catalina printout by the cashier, correct?

So if it says Point coupon $35+ that means you are earning WC. When you use a paper point catalina coupon, it will not allow you to use Walgreens Cash in the same transaction.

Quick comment on the 88 cent Walgreens storage bags: FYI for those of us who donate stuff to food pantries or shelters. I recently learned that these places can use quart-sized ziploc-style bags to allocate little bags of pet food to people who need it. So I have started donating these bags too.

My friend volunteers at a food pantry, which is always glad to have empty plastic shopping bags for folks to use in carrying their allocations from the store. In fact, donations of these bags help because then the pantry doesn't have to order as many bags (and spend money on the order). My husband cannot be bothered to use reusable shopping bags, so all of "his" bags go to the food pantry. I'm trying to think outside the box w/r/t donations because, while pantries certainly need as much as they can get these days, there are surely things that most people don't think they might need.

My husband bought 70 count Claritin @ $39.99 and 100 count Claritin @ $44.99 in two separate transactions and tried to redeem a $7 off $35 Catalina store coupon. The cashier told my husband it is earn $7 in Walgreens cash when you spend $35, not $7 off. In addition, the cashier claimed he couldn’t redeem Walgreens cash when you use the Catalina coupon. The receipt does show point coupon $35 + purchase. I think everything the cashier said is wrong. I don’t have a photo of the coupon, so I cannot attach a photo to this response.

First look didn't show me much, other than the food storage bags and Purex highlighted above. Pepsi family 12-packs B2G2. "New" Colgate RR offer b2 @ $4-5 get $3 RR. All dqs expire(d) 6-6 so there should be new ones Sunday morning. Probably $3/2 or $4/2 on the $4 items, $4/2 or $5/2 on the $5 items. The days of the free dental products are probably gone. I used to donate hundreds of $$ of the free stuff a year. But these current deals are still doable if you're aiming for a spend threshold and/or have an online promo code.

I see an $8/$35 dq "only for you" exp 6-13.

SUNDAY UPDATE: some nice new Colgate dqs. $10/2 on two specific $6 pastes, exp 6-13. But the RR apparently matches only on $4-5 items.
$6/2 exp 6-20 on some $5 items, these should qualify for the $3 RR.
$4/2 exp 6-20 on some $4 brushes/rinses, RR should apply.
$4/2 exp 6-20 on several $4-5 pastes, RR should apply.
All of these should result in $1 net spend after RR. Whether you can do them together and get multiple $3 RRs, I dunno. Probably not.

Thanks. Will ask my husband to try again. He didn’t even buy the 70 count Claritin when the $10/1 digital came off because he thought I didn’t want anything if both digitals did not get applied.

1. Yes, it must have attached the $10/1 DM to the 100 count rather than applying the $12/1. There is really no way to tell how the register would apply it, but maybe scanning the 70 count first then the 100 count may let the digitals apply correctly.

2. The $5 wellness catalina is a store coupon so it would work even if items have manufacturer coupons. The more coupons than items would not apply here since it a store coupon.

3. I would first scan the lower count of claritin first then the higher count. The only thing is that when an item is scanned at walgreens and the cashier hits payment to see if any digitals come off and then goes back to scan more items, the register will go extremely slow. It will take at least 1-2 minutes just for the digitals to come off and then another minute just for payment to go through.

I am confused how Walgreens digitals work. Last week, I bought 100 count Claritin, 70 count Claritin, 40 count bonus Claritin and 30 count Claritin kids and all DMs deducted, except the $10/1 DM didn't deduct for the 70 count, even though it was clipped. ~~The$10/1~~DM is attached to the 100 count, 40 count and the 70 count Claritin products. So did the system not apply the $10/1 DM because the 40 count Claritin may have been scanned first and instead of applying the highest value DM, it applied the $10/1 DM, even though the 100 count Claritin is attached to the $5/1 DM, $10/1 DM and $12/1 DM? $5/1 DM is attached to the 40 count, 70 count and 100 count. Did the system not apply the $10/1 DM to the 70 count because the $5/1 DM was applied toward the 70 count, instead of toward the 40 count.

Today, my husband tried to buy the 100 count Claritin and 70 count Claritin in the same transaction and was also using the $5 off wellness Catalina coupon but the $12/1 DM for the 100 count didn't deduct. He didn't even present the $5 wellness Catalina coupon to the cashier since the $12/1 DM was not deducting. Can you use the $5 wellness store Catalina coupon with two DMs if you only have two items in the transaction because I thought you cannot have more paper coupons than products in the transaction or is that only for manufacturer's coupons? Does the scanning order of the products matter if a product has more than one DM? I dnk if the $10/1 DM applied to the 100 count or 70 count. I would think Walgreens should apply the highest value DM.

I am thinking of having my husband either buy them in separate transactions or have the cashier scan the 100 count, see if the $12/1 DM applies after totaling the order and if the $12/1 DM deducts, have the cashier then scan the 70 count to see if the $10/1 DM applies in the same transaction or vice versa. I rather not have two separate transactions since I am submitting the receipts to Prodege and CO51.

CO51 actually rejected the Walgreens cash activity for the first time saying they want the receipt because the cash activity doesn't show the order was shipped, delivered or picked up. I used the PDF receipt from the Walgreens website and CO51 approved it. CO51 is so inconsistent because they subsequently approved another Walgreens cash activity for a different purchase.

Thanks, I was trying to figure out yesterday. I saw it in my redeemed coupon. I was wondering if there is a delay to reclip because when I checked the ivc there's still a check mark on the item that I want to buy.
So I'm a little bit confused, it was in my redeemed coupon and also still clipped in that item.

Anyways today, I was able to clipped it.

Had this happen with the Scott ivc. After use it was no longer in my clipped coupons. Had to re-clip it and it worked again.

Hi, so I used a walgreens ivc and it was for multiple uses. It worked the first time, then the second time I didn't get the discount.
I believe, if not mistaken, Couponer said something about it, I just can't remember the details.

Early look: not much jumped out at me. Food storage B1G2. Alternating Crest/Oral-B $3 RR on $3.50-4.50 items returns. Maybe some new dqs Sunday. Colgate deal repeats with dqs expiring 6-6. Buy 2 $6 brushes or pastes, use $6/2 dq, get $5 RR. Or 2 $5 items, use $2/1 and $1/1 dqs. (Online only) $10 WC on $25 Wags vitamins, might pair with some of the BOGO items. Arizona drinks 3/$2.

SUNDAY UPDATE: the $10/25 Wags vitamins dq is nowhere to be seen (yet). (There's one on Nature's Bounty.) Also not seeing any Crest dqs that match the $3.50-4.50 items with the $3 RR.

Probably, although some or all did show an expiration of May 30. Maybe those prices were superseded by tags that didn't get installed.

The Walgreens cash activity was rejected because Checkout 51 said it doesn’t show that the order was or picked up, delivered or shipped. I had submitted another Walgreens cash activity for four Claritin offers to be redeemed and they were all approved, so I dnk why co51 rejected my Walgreens cash activity because they say they need proof the order was picked up, delivered or shipped. Very inconvenient!

Have you been doing any co51 deals with Walgreens lately? They rejected my Walgreens cash activity submission for the first time since I have been submitting the Walgreens cash activity.
