Hace un par de semanas, me contactó Gonzalo Borzino de Accion Dev para invitarme a un panel sobre la CODEAR Perón, y ahí caí en cuenta de que habían pasado 14 años desde esa CODEAR y desde Elige tu propio Perón.

Una locura realmente como pasa el tiempo, después me di cuenta de la cantidad de canas que tengo en la barba y se me pasó.

La cosa es que estaban organizando una nueva jam, y en un principio pensaba hacer una versión 2, pero después Caro (mi esposa) me tiró la idea de hacer un chatbot. Y me pareció genial, así que esto es lo que quedó.
Lo genial de este proyecto es que no lo hice solo, Cecilia Verino y Nicolas Carrieres me dieron una mano tremenda y no podría haber terminado a tiempo sin su ayuda.

Si estabas solo y necesitabas una guia en tu vida, no busques mas! Preguntale lo que quieras, y te va a responder de forma sesuda y totalmente no sesgada. Ideal para consultar antes de tomar una decision importante (tiemblen tarotistas!). 

Te dejo tu novio? No llegas a fin de mes? No sabes con que parte de la familia juntarte en navidad y año nuevo? No sabes lo que es el chocolate dubai? Tu perro tiene colicos toda la noche? Tu bebe va de cuerpo 2 minutos despues de que le cambiaste el pañal? Tal vez no estabas pensando lo suficiente en la tercera posicion y Peron te lo va a recordar, tus problemas son irrelevantes.

A couple of weeks ago, Gonzalo Borzino from Accion Dev contacted me about the good old CODEAR Perón and there I realized 14 years have passed since Elige tu propio Perón.

It’s totally crazy how time passes so fast, then I looked at me in the mirror and I wasn’t so surprised anymore.

Thing is, they’ve been organizing a new jam. At first I was going to create a renewed version of Elige tu propio Peron, but then my wife gave me a great idea about a Peron chatbot. I thought that was a great idea, in line with our current world situation so I started working on it. I have two great teammates, Cecilia Verino and Nicolas Carrieres, they gave me a great hand to finish the game on time.

Hoy quiero presentarles oficialmente Tincha, un proyecto en el que vengo trabajando desde hace aproximadamente dos años. La idea es sencilla: mezclar el tirón de las máquinas gashapon con la construcción y gestión de negocios al estilo tycoon.

El desarrollo comenzó como un juego multijugador web donde la gracia era sacar premios, pero descubrí que abrir gashapones físicos resultaba más gratificante que extraer assets virtuales (salvo durante el breve reinado de los NFT ). Después de darle muchas vueltas (colecciones aisladas, minijuegos tipo dress‑up, etc.) decidí que podía funcionar usar todos los ítems de las máquinas para construir mini‑negocios y poblar una pequeña ciudad.

Así nació Tincha City, una ciudad persistente donde podés poner tu granito de arena para que prospere. Cada nuevo negocio ayuda a alcanzar objetivos semanales, pero no queda solo ahí: hay que elegir cuidadosamente cómo crear cada local y en qué rol colocar a cada habitante. Y sí, los personajes también salen de máquinas gashapon y traen sus propios traits, por lo que encajan mejor (o peor) en ciertos puestos. Con el tiempo se cansan, y toca mandarlos a descansar estratégicamente para que el rating del negocio se mantenga óptimo.

La capa estratégica sigue creciendo, soy mi propio scope creeper, mientras sumo ideas.

Tincha es, por lejos, el proyecto más complejo que he encarado; mi zona de confort quedó tan lejos como Suecia de Argentina. Además, subestimé lo difícil que es hoy lograr que la gente descubra tu juego: todo era más fácil en la época de Flash . Eso hace que el desarrollo vaya más lento de lo que esperaba, pero a día de hoy tenemos:

Abril 2025

• Login y sign‑up con mail y Google.
• Cinco máquinas gashapon jugables, con múltiples usuarios en cola y viendo qué ocurre en tiempo real.
• Listado de máquinas con thumbnails dinámicas.
• Un back‑office bastante completo (solo lo veo yo, así que no cuenta ).
• Creación de negocios a partir de blueprints y permits (también premios).
• Editor de negocios, mi mayor agujero negro de horas, donde se ensamblan los premios para formar un local.

Hello everyone!

I’d like to officially introduce Tincha, a project I’ve been working on for about two years. The idea is simple: blend the thrill of gashapon machines with tycoon‑style business building.

Development started as a multiplayer web prize machine, but I soon realised that cracking physical capsules felt more rewarding than pulling virtual assets (except during the short NFT boom ). After many iterations, isolated collections, dress‑up minigames, etc. I figured I could use every machine item to build mini‑businesses and populate a small city.

That’s how Tincha City was born: a persistent town where you can leave your mark. Each new business pushes weekly goals forward, but there’s more: you need to choose how to build each shop and which role to assign to each resident. Yes, characters also pop from gashapon machines and come with their own traits, making them more (or less) suited to certain roles. Over time they get tired, so you’ll need to rest them strategically to keep your shop’s rating high.

The strategy layer keeps expanding, I’m my own scope creeper.

Tincha is by far the most complex project I’ve tackled; my comfort zone is now as distant as Sweden is from Argentina. I also underestimated how hard discoverability is these days, life was easier back in the Flash era . That slows progress, but right now we have:

April 2025

• Mail and Google login/sign‑up.
• Five playable gashapon machines with live queues you can actually watch.
• Machine list with dynamic thumbnails.
• A fairly complete back office (only I see it, so it half‑counts).
• Business creation from blueprints and permits (which are prizes too).
• A business editor, my main time sink, where all those items click together.

Hello everyone!

After a longer break than I had anticipated, I’m thrilled to return to my indie adventures, starting with this website that had been quite neglected.

Thanks to the wonders of modern AI, I discovered it was possible to rewrite the site in React while continuing to use the WordPress backend. This allowed me to retain all the site’s historical content. Additionally, the Ruffle library has matured enough to bring most of my Flash games and prototypes back to life (take that, Adobe and Steve Jobs :D).

In this fleeting world of ephemeral content, I’m happy to control this tiny corner of the internet, a sort of backyard oasis, away from the bustling and chaotic city.

Much has changed during these years of absence. I hope to grasp some of the new rules of the game. It was challenging before. I imagine it won’t be any easier now. The only thing I have more of is gray hair to compensate.

There are new projects and some not-so-new ones that never saw the light of day. I’ll be posting gradually to document my progress.

I don’t plan to pay much attention to social media. I left them some time ago and have no regrets. However, interacting with real people is always comforting, so feel free to leave me a message, it’s always welcome.

En Bridges of Pythagoras tu objetivo es muy simple: deberás calcular el largo de un puente para que, tres impacientes autos, cruzen, con seguridad, de un lado al otro de la pantalla.

Hay distintos tipos de desafíos en los que deberás calcular la hipotenusa, así como tambien los lados de triangulos rectangulos.

También se introducirán conceptos geométricos como proporción entre triángulos y algunas particularidades como el triángulo recto 3-4-5.

• Tiro al blanco (con bolas de fuego, tener matafuego cerca)
• Salto en alto (sin garrocha, los monstruos no necesitan esas cosas de humanos)

Mientras, podrás aprender los conceptos basicos para construir un diagrama de caja, que podrás usar para analizar tu desempeño frente al de tus rivales.

• Thor (our first god, you will need it to conquer Asgard ;))

I’d love to hear your feedback and suggestions for new scenarios.

As a hint for future releases, the rainbow in Miltenberg is the Bifrost Bridge that leads to Asgard, home of the Norse Gods.
