Day 25 - A song that you could listen to all day without getting tired of

This is my favourite song/raya song ever! I listen to this song every freaking day walaupun bukan hari raya sebab lagu ni tak macam lagu raya yang lain. In fact, lagu ni tak bunyi macam lagu raya pun. Kadang-kadang, I put on repeat satu hari suntuk. Macam summer lepas, I only played this song for the whole day. Tak bosan. Tak penat. Sampai my senior pun dah hafal chorus dia sebab asyik dengar je. Sorry senior.

Insuk used to play his guitar and sing this song for me when we went to his room. Almaklumlah, bilik Insuk tu, bilik kedua kami dekat Jasper. Setiap kali main lagu ni, setiap kali tu juga dia akan cakap, "I'm not very good. Sorry if it'll sound bad". What a humble guy, eh. Just so you know, it never sounded bad. Memang sedap je selalu.

Banyak je lagu yang suka dengar tapi buat masa ni saya memang suka sangat dengar lagu The Manual by Eddy Kim ni. Sebenarnya, saya suka semua lagu dari Eddy Kim. Tapi, pasal kena letak satu je, so there you go; The Manual. Do check out his album; The Manual if you love this song :)

Saya memang suka lagu acoustic macam ni sejak dari dulu. It feels so good to listen to this song after the endless generic and autotune K-pop songs. Ha ha ha.

This song spoke to me really well when my parents first objected my decision to further my studies in Tourism Management. That was a dark time in my life. But, alhamdulillah, my parents are okay with my decision right now and they give their full support :)

Tarzan is one of my all time favourite Disney's movies along with Mulan. It never failed to make me cry and sob with all my heart. Totally love this movie because it reminded me of parents' unconditional love towards their children. And I believe, this song speaks about parents' hearts. *homesick cue*

There were times when I felt so hopeless about my life especially about myself. I had this high pressure on my shoulder and I thought I cannot handle the pressure anymore. I felt that I was a burden to everyone. I felt that I was worthless. Then, my Adik sent this song to me along with few verses from al-Quran to soothe my broken soul.

Day 07 - A song that reminds you of the past summer

Sebenarnya, masa summer hari tu, banyak je dengar lagu lain tapi saya pilih lagu ni sebab saya dengar masa hari-hari terakhir saya dekat Jasper. Masa tu kan tengah emosi, tengah tak ready nak tinggalkan Jasper, so, lagu nilah yang melekat dari lagu yang lain.
Just so you know, K.Will ada released lagu baru masa summer hari tu. Day 1. Saya suka sangat (like, sangat sangat!) lagu tu tapi, lagu tu macam tak berapa tepat untuk challenge ni. Hihi.
Lagu ni lagu lama tapi naik balik dalam saya punya mp3 sebab saya nak dengar lagu-lagu yang sedap dan macam comel untuk menghilangkan rasa sedih saya yang tak bersedia nak tinggalkan Jasper tu. Duduk menghadap YouTube, lepas tu, terjumpa the latest performance by K.Will.

Oh my god! I totally love this performance until the point I abused the repeat button. My roommates pun sampai boleh hafal chorus lagu tu dan asyik sing along kalau saya pasang lagu ni especially part "neorul saranghae saranghae saranghanda".
I love this performance sebab K.Will nyanyi live (of course, dia selalu nyanyi live sebelum ni) and he seemed and sounded so happy! He sounded energetic and powerful too! And, he smiled a lot! Yes, that's my crazy inner fangirl talking.
Now, that my mum has given her consent for me to attend a concert dengan syarat, setahun sekali je, thank you Mama! I should save up my money and travel to Korea to explore the beauty of Korea and to attend his concert! Har har har.

Ahhhh, this song brings back all the memories. Ingat lagi, last summer, masa last day saya kat Guelph, sebelum saya terbang ke Jasper, saya Skype dengan kawan baik saya. We spent 3 hours talking through Skype walapun masa tu saya tak siap packing lagi. Oh boy! *Apalah yang kita cakapkan eh sampai 3 jam tu*

In the middle of Skype session tu, we decided to listen to songs together. Romantik gitu! Haha. Kawan baik saya cakap, "kita ni dah macam couple dengar lagu sama-sama". Well, that's how single ladies roll, okay :p

Dan, lagu See What I See by Royal Pirates ni adalah salah satu lagu yang kami dengar sama-sama. I think it's kinda special sebab lagu ni lagu favourite saya dan kami dengar sama-sama walaupun jarak beribu batu, lepas tu buat ulasan sama-sama pasal lagu. Sama ada kami suka tak lagu ni, makna lagu ni, etc etc. And she, being the best girlfriend that I can ever have, who knows me inside out cakap, "Farah memang sukakan lagu macam ni. Hahahaha."

It truly feels like forever since someone actually understands and knows what I like and love! And of course, without judging me openly or secretly. I love you, girlfriend!

Hi best friend kita yang dekat Malaysia tu! Yang tak putus-putus Whatsapp kita walaupun kadang-kadang (eh, macam selalu je) tak reply Whatsapp atau lambat reply Whatsapp awak tu. Sorry girl! Day 04 - A song that calms you down

Although this path seems far sometime,

This song is one of my lullabies. I love Sung Si Kyung's voice and this song is by far my favourite song from him. I just love how his voice compliments with the instruments in this song. I've heard dozens of covers of this song but no one can't beat Sung Si Kyung. Just so you know, that's the biggest compliment that I can give because I usually prefer cover song than the original song.

To those who are wondering, yes, lagu ni ost The Heirs tapi bukan dia yang nyanyi. Dalam The Heirs tu, Park Jang Hyun yang nyanyi. Do not ask me about Park Jang Hyun. I don't even know him. By know, I mean, saya tak pernah google atau interested untuk tahu pasal dia so, I have zero knowledge about him.

I never had a boyfriend. I've been single for my entire life. Tak payah terkejut sangat bila orang umur dua puluh satu masih single lagi. I'm single by choice by the way. So, memang takde ex-boyfriend mahupun ex-girlfriend. Dah dah dah, kenapa sibuk sangat cakap pasal relationship status ni. Ish ish ish.

I used to listen to this song every day when I was a child. Masa kecil dulu, memang tak faham pun lagu ni pasal apa. Almaklumlah, masa tu, tak pandai English lagi. Dengar hari-hari sebab tertarik dengan video klip dia. I find it is very fascinating. I don't know why. It is kinda scary but intriguing at the same time.
p/s: After all these years, I still don't get the story line.
