I’m not sure what the deal is with the color scheme on this plane. I don’t know why it says “The show must go on” down the side of it. Regardless, it’s a cool looking plane with big ‘ol canard wings.

Henan Airlines Posts Picture Of Crashed Plane

Henan Airlines has posted a picture of their crashed plane on their website homepage. To me, it seems like a crazy move. It just seems like bad public relations to post a picture of a crashed jet on your homepage.

It reminds me of that old Dudley Moore movie where he’s an advertising executive that loses it and starts to show airline clients ads of their crashed planes. I’m probably the only person that remembers that movie.

Video: Embraer 190 Plane Crash In China

This is video from the scene of the accident in Ichun City. There were 96 people on board, 42 of them died in the crash.

Video Podcast #6: Crash of Do 228 in Himalayas, Crash of E190 in China

In this episode, I mostly talk about the crash of the Do228 in the Himalayas, and the crash of an Embraer 190 in Northeast China. There were 14 people on board the Do228, all of them died in the crash. The E190 has 96 people onboard at the time of the crash. The other thing that I talk about, is about how you can get your hands on your very own Sea Harrier Jumpjet.

Dornier 228 Crashes In Nepal

A (Dornier) aircraft of Agni Air crashed at Bastipur of Shikhapur VDC-2 in Makwanpur district. The plane had left from Kathmandu for Lukla but could not land there due to inclement weather.

The crash occurred while the plane was returning to the capital. The cause of the crash is not yet known.

According to Makawanpur Police Office, a 10-feet ditch was created in the incident spot when the plane fell down in a field nearby Bagiya Thakur Primary School.

All 14—11 passengers and three crew members—on board were killed, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal confirmed. Four of the passengers were American nationals; one was a Japanese national and one British national, spokesperson of Tourism and Civil Aviation Ministry Laxman Bhattarai informed Republica.

The plane was a Dornier 228, like the one pictured. The registration number of the plane that crashed was A9 AHE. The airport at Lukla frequently makes the list of scariest airports in the world due to both its location, high in the Himalayas and its oddly sloped runway.
