T.G.I. Friday’s® is an iconic American restaurant having started in 1965 in New York City and has now grown to more than 1,000 locations worldwide. In 2009, their international marketing team approached Imaginaria to help revive a promotion that was intended to capture the tropical spirit — and food — of the Caribbean. From that initial project, we have become a trusted creative partner and have developed numerous promotions, marketing catalogs, communications, placemats, bar menu, and most recently, their international menu.

2011 Greer Garson Gala: An Evening With The Rat Pack

For two decades, Texas Health Presbyterian Foundation has hosted a signature fundraising event, called the Greer Garson Gala, to raise support for programs and services of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. In the early 1990s, Greer Garson, an Academy Award-winning actress and long-time supporter of the hospital, lent her name to this signature event to help draw community support for the hospital.

This year’s gala, entitled “An Evening With The Rat Pack”, pays homage to the 50′s and 60′s and features a charitable casino, dinner by Wolfgang Puck, live auction, as well as entertainment provided by Rat Pack impersonators. Imaginaria partnered with the GGG to help produce the event identity, sales kits, signage, tickets, and a vinyl record-inspired invitation.

Coming Soon: Franconia Bottled German Style Bier

With a brewing legacy dating back to the 1800′s, Franconia Brewing Company is a local Texas brewery passionate about making true Bavarian Brew. Owner and brewmaster Dennis Wehrmann’s great-great grandfather Schaubert began the family heritage at his Franken Braue brewery in Tanna, Germany. Today, the rich tradition of naturally brewing authentic German style bier using only the purest ingredients is carried on at his brewery in McKinney, Texas.

We were initially approached by Dennis this year to help refresh their brand identity while staying true to their rich family heritage. Soon after, we began work on packaging for their new line of 1 liter bottled brews, featuring an illustration based off a rare photograph of Schaubert in his German brewery. Be sure to look out for them in major retailers by early 2011!

2010 Lone Star International Film Festival

The Lone Star International Film Festival (LSIFF) in Sundance Square, Fort Worth is a presentation of the Lone Star Film Society. In addition to showcasing the best in American independent cinema, LSIFF is committed to being truly international as well as establishing itself as an authority on emerging talent.

Since 2008, we have worked with the Lone Star Film Society to help brand the annual festivals, creating posters, signage, and print collateral. This year, we were asked to create a new identity and graphic system for the society as well as the festival, resulting in a more modern and sophisticated look.

October 2010 Imaginaria Creative Ping-Pong Championship Open

We’ve started a new tradition here at Imaginaria Creative — Every month we dust off the ping pong table to hold a championship match between the top two competitors in the office.

This month featured #1 seed Mike Monnat vs #2 seed Cesar Sanchez. Cesar surprised the office when he pulled off the upset in last month’s championship match, beating Mike 5-3. This month was a different story as Mike dominated his way through a thrilling 5-2 victory. It looks to become a very interesting rivalry.

Be sure to stay tuned as we’ll be sharing more highlights and pictures from future championship matches, including our First Annual Thanksgiving Classic, held on Wednesday, November 24th.
