Debut Album Released!!

Time for an update! This week I received my entire inventory of my debut album, Cold Conditions and Hearts the Same! Why the name? Well, it's a long story... 17 tracks of story to be exact!

So, if you're fortunate enough to see me in person often (lol =P), I have copies for sale for $5!

If you live far away or don't even have a clue who I am, then I have great news! Any top-notch mp3 service is selling my album! Itunes, Amazon, Cdbaby, and Google Play to name a few.

Hello everyone... Been super busy and focused on finishing up the album. A few setbacks have occurred including a hurricane and getting sick. However, I'm mixing and it's going very well! If things keep up I should still be on for the 12/12/12 release. I will be selling the album on iTunes and anywhere else I can! Physical cds will take a little longer due to money, unless I find an investor!! Anyway, wanted to let any curious people know, I didn't give up, nor will I!!

Keyboards and Final Touches

I had some really good studio sessions lately. Guitars are done and bass is as well. In the next week I will be finishing up keyboards and I will be recording vocals very soon!

I'm still on schedule for a 12/12/12 release.
Can't wait to share music that's been in my head for years!

Debut Album Annouced!

After 10 years of song writing, I am proud to officially announce my debut album, Cold Conditions and Hearts the Same!

The project began top-secret last year.

I started composing on September 13th, 2011, and I worked on it every day since! (Thank goodness for discipline!)

Currently, I'm recording guitars at Mytron Studios!

The title says it all... I was working on beats for about a month now and the first few songs are done. Today, my work put me ahead of schedule! Drums should be done next month... Then I move on to guitars and bass!

I'm finishing up composing the majority of instruments this week. I will begin recording preproduction very soon, and I will begin the recording process next month!

Busy (As Usual!)

Hello everyone, I figured it was time for another big update!

A couple of weeks ago, Victoria and I invested in a HD Camcorder (which is awesome!) and started documenting our work at Mytron Studios. I'm also planning to implement video into my music career, and possibly this blog sometimes!

The album is coming along great too! As of yesterday, track listing (correct order too) has been finalized for the album! There's still much work to do, but at least every song is basically wrote.

And finally, we will soon be launching a new Mytron Studios project. It's gonna be huge!

The last few weeks were super busy! I went from about 30 potential songs, to the complete track listing for the new album! Ideas were flowing like never before.

At the moment, I'm making sure each song has a solid structure/arrangement to it... and it's going really good.

In big news, I set a release date for the album. Even better yet, it's going to be this year!

It's too early to get into details... so the best I can say is... stay tuned! (i love suspense!)

Music and Studio Upgrades!

Hello fans! Just wanted to give a quick update.

As some of you know... this year both of my studio computers died. Kinda a tragic thing when you're writing an album! But anyway, I'm getting a custom built pc for the recording studio! I'm really looking forward to having something that is a legit studio pc! Plus, I won't have to use two computers anymore... that was a mess anyway!

Also got plans to update my audio interface and then we're going to triple monitors!

In related news, "Band Practice" is a regular activity... might see some shows in the new year. Also, the album is coming along really good. It's going to be a good blend of news songs and revised classics. That's all I can say so far!

Getting Organized

This past week I was focused on getting organized. This needed to happen because our stuff was all over the place! Plus, Studio "A", was starting to look like a used furniture store!

Anyway, things are getting cleaned up & back to order.

A major highlight was that I got my drum-set back together and polished! And I gotta say, for being away for a year... I'm not too bad!

The rest of the studio is coming along... I'm hoping to record down there again... soon! All I need is a new computer & audio interface! I used to use 2 computers to record 10 tracks of audio, now, thanks to modern technology and about 2,000 of them US dollars, I can record with one computer... and do it better!

Speaking of modern tech... I can't live without my Windows 7 Phone! It's even better at keeping me on task than Victoria! Which is some pretty amazing stuff!

So anyway, the cleanup continues...

Web Design

The last few weeks consisted of non-stop website design for me. Well, at least it felt like it!

But, everything paid off, because now every site I own was updated!

I love designing sites, but I'm excited to get back to the projects themselves!

I've been drawing a lot with a new tablet setup, and you might even notice I started brushing up on Photoshop as well!

And finally, in great news, I can now practice in my recording studio again! Somewhat. It's a long story, but we had some mold issues with the furniture occupying it. Needless to say, finding space for our extra furniture isn't a problem anymore!

It's been crazy!

However, it's all getting better... and I promise... my wife and I are working on some really sweet projects!
