January 15, 2014 - Minnesota-based GotSoul Music has announced the official release date for Soul Cutz Vol. 2, an urban compilation project featuring eight diverse artists from across the country. The list of featured artists includes Mahogany Jones, M.O.G., Tryenyse Jones, Exoduz, A.P., Godzsun, Soulyrik and Julian. The album is set to release on February 25, 2014, and will be available on iTunes, AmazonMP3, Google Play and various other digital retail sites.

GotSoul Music producer Julian Montgomery hand-picked seven gifted artists including both rappers and singers. The goal was to bring together a collection of artists who rep the Kingdom and have the ability to collaborate well with others to record a creative, meaningful project. The completed work features eleven smokin' hot Hip-Hop and R&B tracks in total, transitioning seamlessly between bangers, ballads and slow to mid tempo grooves. Julian, who also appears on three songs in the role of artist, states, "This is the most excited I've been about a project. From inception to completion, the album took nearly two years to complete. And the final product is amazing." He continues, "It's been an incredible experience working with each artist, and to see the collaboration between everyone involved makes me proud to be a part of something this special."

The featured song and first single from the album is "He's Alive" by Soulyrik featuring A.P., a native of New Orleans, LA. The song is a true collaborative effort in regard to both the song and the music video. From writing to recording and filming the music video, the team came together and fed off each other's creative energy to assemble a whole greater than the sum of its parts. The single will be available for purchase on iTunes beginning January 28th or as an Instant Gratification track for those who purchase the album in full.

January 15, 2013 - Jonny Lang will kick off 2014 with a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this evening on ABC. Lang and his band perform "Blew Up (The House)" on air along with "What Your Looking For" for online broadcast. Both tracks are from Lang's latest album, Fight For My Soul , which was released late last year to critical acclaim.

Long recognized for his passionate performances, Lang continues to peform twenty shows a month on average. Over the past several months he has staged his triumphant return to Europe, alongside playing major markets across the U.S. Following a visit to Alaska in late-December, he hit the ground running in 2014 with a Southwestern leg that will head North to British Columbia before returning South for a special performance at NAMM on January 23 in Anaheim, CA.

In February, the road takes him to the Southeastern U.S, with select appearances booked in the Midwest where he will meet up with the Experience Hendrix tour. Joshua Fest is returning to their hometown for their Northern California 10th annual, three day music and camping festival. The three day festival's lineup includes some of the most amazing and emerging talent in the industry, plus tons of workshops and other family-friendly activities for all ages. The festival will be held Aug 29th-31st, 2014 at the Plumas County Fairgrounds in Quincy, California.

Friday night will play host to represent a true Seattle style rock fest, with none other then Emery and The Classic Crime back to back. "Difference Maker" from Rivers In The Wasteland, which the band performed to close out the 2013 Dove Awards, has impacted radio in a big way this week as the most added track at Christian Hot AC/CHR and the third most added at Christian AC.

The band's relentless touring saw them captivate music fans at festivals such as Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits, along with standout performances on Letterman, Fallon, Leno and Conan. However, this extensive touring is where the musicians began grappling with both significant inner turmoil and the external pressure created by notoriety. For all three musicians, they had to take a well-deserved break and meditate on what each wanted NEEDTOBREATHE to be. After some time, the guys all agreed that the answer was to return to the band's roots and find the anchor of musical simplicity.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 14, 2014) - Grammy and Dove Award-winning vocalist John Schlitt is set to join actor Stephen Baldwin in a new sitcom, Rock And A Hard Place, slated to go into production in the Spring. The faith-based television project features Schlitt in the role of John, the maintenance man at Solid Rock Church, where Baldwin's character is the pastor.

The sitcom, which has reached its initial Kickstarter goal to produce the pilot, is currently in Phase Two as the production team strives to make a "reach goal" of $100,000. The deadline for contributions is 9 p.m. E.T. Thursday, January 16.

The story line centers around Baldwin's character, Pastor Darren Keaton, who has a young daughter, a live-in mother-in-law, a slowly declining congregation in a northern Illinois church. When Pastor Keaton learns he has become the new owner of Hard Knocks, the bar directly across the street from his church home, Solid Rock Church, he suddenly finds himself between "a rock and a hard place." The pastor questions how his congregation will respond, how the church elders and staff will treat him, and how a devoutly religious man pastoring a church can possibly be allowed to own a bar? Pastor Darren finds he must look up for the answers, even more now than ever.

Grammy nominee Bryan Duncan wrote and performed the theme song for the new TV project. Darren Marlar is the series creator, producer, writer and also acts in the show.

Hawk Nelson's collaboration with MercyMe's lead singer Bart Millard on the song "Words" has nabbed Song Of The Year honors from Australia's national Christian music airplay chart, The Rock Across Australia (TRAA). And Australian duo for KING & COUNTRY has garnered Artist Of the Year.

Chart researcher Wes Jay says "Words" secured the most airplay of any Christian song on Australian Christian radio in the past year, and for KING & COUNTRY generated the most high rotation airplay by a Christian act across the sector.

"'Words' spent a total of 28 weeks in the survey," Mr Jay says. "The song dominated the top spot for 12 consecutive weeks, and secured a position in the Top 10 of TRAA's weekly charts for 22 of them. That's very unusual."

Jay says that throughout the year for KING & COUNTRY, the Australian duo now based in the US, was represented in 51 of the 52 weekly charts with the songs Middle Of Your Heart and Hope Is What We Crave.

"Both songs garnered long runs in the weekly survey (30 weeks and 21 weeks respectively), and multiple weeks in the Top 10s (13 and 18 weeks). Both songs found a place in the Top 10 of the annual end of year chart. No other artist achieved this level of airplay in the past year," says Jay.

This is the first time that Hawk Nelson and for KING & COUNTRY have nabbed TRAA's honors.

Rosado and AIC Records debut a new single, "Hope for Tomorrow," on January 14 with proceeds going to Project HOPE's typhoon disaster relief efforts in the Philippines, where Rosado has long felt the love of his largest fan base.

Rosado says it's time for him to give back to the Filipinos who helped propel him forward on American Idol and into a successful career as a recording artist.

"I don't forget the people who supported me through my journey of American Idol," said Rosado. "Their encouragement gave me strength and got me to where I am today. They gave me a brighter future, and I want to do the same for them."

Rosado received thousands of messages of support from fans in the Philippines through Facebook, Twitter and custom videos during the competition, and they remain among his most loyal fans today.

Hope for Tomorrow will be available to download on iTunes on January 14 and each purchase means medicine and supplies for millions of people still suffering after Typhoon Haiyan. "This song is about finding the strength for a new beginning, no matter how hard it might be," said Rosado.

Virginia-based NGO Project HOPE has been deploying medical volunteers to remote Panay Island in the Western Visayas region and the Camotes Islands surrounding Cebu in the Philippines. Project HOPE has also delivered over $2.3 million in donated medicines, generators, First Aid kits, and surgical equipment. The NGO is operating in typhoon-hit areas still struggling without electricity and running water.

"We are honored to have Jeremy's generous and heartfelt support. Jeremy is truly delivering hope through his lyrics and support of HOPE volunteers who are providing lifesaving care for the people of the Philippines. There's still much work to be done in the Philippines to rebuild health facilities and strengthen communities devastated by this epic disaster," said John P. Project HOPE has played a crucial role in saving lives in regions hit by natural disasters over much of the last decade, in Haiti, Indonesia, Japan, China and other parts of Southeast Asia.

"I trust Project HOPE's legacy of disaster relief and I want to help the organization provide long-term sustainable health care for families traumatized and suffering from health problems because of Typhoon Haiyan. I want the song to inspire people to have hope long after the public's interest in the crisis starts to fade," said Rosado.

Rosado knows something about perseverance himself. He auditioned for four Idol seasons before finally landing a spot in the competition. There, he stole the heart of judge Jennifer Lopez -- who dubbed him "Jer-Bear" and brought him back as her wildcard and into the top 13. Since the show ended, Rosado released his first indie EP in April 2013, and appeared on Live! With Kelly, The Today Show, and Good Morning America. Rosado is scheduled to release his first full album for AIC Records in the spring of 2014.

Before rising to fame, Rosado, 21, grew up in Valrico, Florida. He found his passion for music singing in his church's choir, impressing his family and community with his voice. He spent his free time working as a front desk clerk at an infectious diseases doctor's office, not the best job for someone with a germ phobia. His co-workers were just as supportive. During American Idol, his family, church community, and co-workers would gather at a local bar to cheer Rosado on, wearing T-shirts sporting his face.

"My family and hometown were my rock throughout the competition. My family always supported my singing career, but seeing the entire town coming together and supporting me was a blessing," says Rosado. "I really do see the entire world as one family, and family helps each other when times are tough. I now have the platform and ability to help my family on a large-scale.
