Gone MV with RZA, Kobra Khan & James Black

The new MV for Justin’s b-side track Gone has been released! Justin recorded Gone last year with RZA, Kobra Khan and James Black as a tribute to film editor Sally Menke, who passed away during a hike and was known for her work with Quentin Tarantino. Check out the video below:

Don’t you love the way that this was shot?! Definitely one of the cooler MVs – we get to see sides of Justin that haven’t been explored much in his past videos. What do you guys think?

Justin on MuchMusic’s Discovered

Tomorrow night (September 27^th) at 10pm EST, Justin will be appearing on the MuchMusic show, Discovered.

In the preview of the episode, Brett Boivin gets to meet Justin and spend some time with him. Justin is also shown watching Brett perform, so maybe he’ll provide some insight and advice to Brett. You’ll just have to tune in and see!

Upcoming fall shows

Justin will be playing a FREE show at Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto this coming Saturday, October 1^st. For more information, check out the Tour page. There are no tickets for the show, but it will be working on a first come, first served basis. So please head down early if you want in! It is not confirmed if it will be Justin alone or with the JNB.

Also, on October 26^th, Justin will be playing a solo show at Angelo State University in Texas! Not too many details on this yet either, but we’ll keep you posted as we find out more info.

On a sidenote, iminpeace.com is STILL HERE! Sorry for the unplanned hiatus – there have been many changes going on. All will be revealed in due time. Hope y’all are doing great!

Happy Friday/weekend everyone!!! Here’s some awesome news: if you attended a show this past week, then you may have noticed Justin mentioning the re-recording of “Heartless” with India.Arie.

Thanks to Alfine for letting us know! :) She attended the HOB Boston concert on February 12 and thought she heard the same thing, but we finally found a video from the Philly concert to confirm it.

Upcoming Festival Shows

JNB will be playing at Canadian Music Fest here in Toronto on March 11^th, as well as at the Caribana Festival in Switzerland on June 8^th.

The guys were on the road supporting Joshua Radin in the US this past week. Let’s hope more shows are announced soon :)

UW Frost Week Concert

Justin will be performing at the University of Waterloo’s Frost Week concert this coming Thursday, January 13th. The concert is FREE for all UW undergraduate students. Unfortunately, no guests (non UW students) are allowed.

8pm - Doors open

9pm - Openers: San Sebastian

10:30pm – Justin Nozuka

Still no word if it’s only Justin or the whole band (most likely full on JNB!) :)
