There are a few requirements for CBSE improvement exam 2018 that are mandatory if a student wishes to appear in one or more subjects:

• The student must be from CBSE Board (If you appeared in class 12th from other boards, you can apply in  NIOS)
• The student must be passed in all the subjects and must have a passing certificate.
• If the student have a compartment in any subject then they must appear in compartment exam first and clear it in order to appear in improvement exam in the year 2018.
• The student can appear for improvement exam next year only, means you can only appear in CBSE improvement exam 2018 if you passed the CBSE Board Exams in year 2017 (this year).
• The student must not have any reappears in order to appear in the improvement exam 2018.
• The student cannot engage in any higher studies in the mean time. They must drop the year and study from home. (We will be publishing specially designed course material and study guide for students appearing in CBSE Improvement Exam soon.)
• The student cannot appear in improvement exam for any additional subjects. They canonly appear in the main 5 subjects.
• The student can appear for one subject or all subjects in the improvement exam.

CBSE Improvement Exam form last date with late fees:

15th October 2015

CBSE Improvement Exam form last date with late fees:

16th October – 31st October: Rs. 250/-
1st November – 15th November: Rs. 350/-
16th November – 15th December: Rs. 5000/-

Hence, the final date for submitting CBSE Improvement Exam forms in 15th December 2015 (For 2016 CBSE Improvement Exam). After the final last date is over there will be no more submissions allowed by the CBSE under any circumstances.

Since CBSE has started accepting forms online from the year 2015, last dates have been shifted up a month when compared to previous years. CBSE has also increased the late fees marginally for 2016 examinations.

11. Send the the following documents to CBSE via post (Preferably via Speed Post): Print out of the Confirmation Page, Photostat copy of your previous year’s marksheet and passing certificate, proof of fees (E-challan and if paid through demand draft, then sent that too)

If your application status is not updated but amount is being debited from your account, then DO NOT TRY PAYING FEE AGAIN. You are also advised to not to change the payment mode if fee is already debited from your account.
