Carl Paladino Porn Emails Published: Naked Women, Sexual Acts & Commentary

New York gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino found himself embroiled in controversy once again on Thursday after WNYMedia.net published a series of emails containing pornographic images reportedly forwarded by the Republican hopeful to friends and colleagues within the last several years.

The messages released by the New York-based outlet contain provocative pictures of naked women in revealing positions and engaging in sexual activity. Paladino included brief notes in some instances when he blasted out the images. More than once, he wrote, "awesome," while on a different occasion he said, "for andy this is better."

The graphic emails have surfaced on the heels of Paladino sparking controversy in speaking out against marriage equality. "We must stop pandering to the pornographers and the perverts, who seek to target our children and destroy their lives," he said earlier this week.

The AP reports on the campaign's response to the dirty messages:

Paladino spokesman Michael Caputo called the political site's operators miscreants and notes that Democratic activists have been accused of falsifying e-mails in the past.
Caputo stated the e-mails from 2008 to January of 2010 aren't new or relevant. He didn't deny Paladino forwarded them.

Amid controversy swirling over a series of racist and graphic e-mails forwarded by Paladino to friends and colleagues earlier this year, the Tea Party contender said, "I'm not politically correct and never have been." He added, "I'm not perfect. But if the worst I ever did was send out some non-politically correct e-mails, my God."

HuffPost's David Weiner reported on the e-mails, also published by WNYMedia.net, at the time:

These emails run the gamut from your standard email chain smut to greatly disturbing racist imagery. Many of the latter type of emails targeted President Obama and his wife Michelle.

Here's a brief rundown of some the emails obtained by the news outlet...

- Ahead of Obama's swearing-in ceremony, Paladino sent around a video entitled "Obama Inauguration Rehearsal." The video shows an African tribesman dancing, and is apparently popular among white supremacists.

- An email with the subject line "Proof the Irish discovered Africa" containing a video of monkeys that appear to be doing a Riverdance-style jig.

- A video of a naked woman sent from a government email account.

- A bestiality video involving a horse and a woman.

One image passed along by Paladino featured President Obama and the First Lady made to look like "a pimp and a ho."

Responding to the matter, Caputo at the time told the New York Daily News:

"Carl Paladino has forwarded close friends hundreds of email messages he received. Many of these emails he received were off color, some were politically incorrect, few represented his own opinion, and almost none of them were worth remembering..."

Paladino is facing off against Democrat Andrew Cuomo to be New York's next Governor in November's midterm election. According to the latest numbers out on the match-up, Cuomo holds a comfortable lead in the race.

A book by retired NORAD officer predicted the October 13th arrival date of UFO's over major cities. As of this time the author has not returned calls.

In this day and age, with all the technology we have, I believe they should have gotten a better video.

Reportedly, the silvery object was seen by the locals of Chelsea after which they contacted Police and the FAA at about 1.30 p.m. The sources from Law enforcement thought that the object was some sort of balloon. But it has been not yet confirmed what the object exactly was.

A reporter sighted the tiny sliver dot hovering at approximately object 5,000 feet above 23rd St. and Eighth Ave. A dozen people gathered to catch its glimpse in the late afternoon.

"It's been hovering there for a while. I'm just kind of baffled," told Joseph Torres of Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, who sighted the object after leaving a movie. "How can it be ordinary? There is something going on."

"You really have to look up to see it," said another witness, Rico. "It's a little crazy. I guess that's why they call it an unidentified flying object because they don't know what it is."

The social networking site, Twitter, was flooded with the messages that linked to a month-old press release of a book by a retired NORAD officer. It predicted that UFOs will be seen in earth’s major cities on 13th October this year. The Federal Aviation Administration also received calls from people at its operations center. But after reviewing radar data, the agency did not find anything out of the normal condition.

"We re-ran radar to see if there was anything there that we can't account for but there is nothing in the area," stated Jim Peters, spokesman. "There was some helicopter traffic over the river at that time and we checked with LaGuardia Tower. And they said they had nothing going low at that time. Nothing that we can account for would prompt this kind of response," he said.

Peters told that if it were a weather balloon or any kind of organized balloon they would have got the prior notice for its release. But they did not get any notification. So the 'UFO over NYC' frenzy continues.

ITS OFFICIAL: Wyclef Will Not be Haiti's President

Hip-hop star Wyclef Jean announced Tuesday he is officially ending his bid to become president of Haiti.

The Grammy-winning artist, who was born in the quake-ravaged country and raised in Brooklyn, will not challenge an electoral commission that deemed him unqualified to run in the Nov. 28 race.

"After weeks of quiet but painstaking reflection with my wife and daughter, I have chosen to end my bid for the presidency of Haiti," Jean said in a statement.

"This was not an easy conclusion to reach; but it is one that as thoughtfully made, taking into account many, many competing factors and weighing the course that will be advance the healing of the country and help it find the quickest path for recovery."

Wyclef was barred from running in the November elections, along with 14 other candidates, after the electoral commission found he did not meet the entry requirements.

The singer said they believed he had not lived in Haiti for five consecutive years before the election.

He filed an appeal but has now decided to focus on his music instead.

His new album, "If I Were President, the Haitian Experience" is due to be released February 2011, followed by a worldwide tour.

"Some battles are best fought off the field, and that is where we take this now," Wyclef added.

"It's not about my candidacy - this appeal was meant to address the shortcomings of the process for every Haitian.

"Though my run for the presidency was cut short, in this way, I feel it was not in vain; it's something we can use to improve conditions for my Haitian brothers and sisters."

A Kenner man released from prison less than two weeks ago on obscenity charges is back in jail after allegedly fondling himself in the electronics department in a Kenner Wal-mart, police said.

Ricky Scott, 55, was booked with obscenity after his arrest at Wal-mart on Saturady, marking the 14th time he has been arrested on that charge in Jefferson Parish alone, said Detective Brian McGregor of the Kenner Police Department.

Share He has at least five felony convictions for obscenity on his record, police said.

Scott was released from prison on June 24 and is on parole until 2011 in connection with obscenity convictions in 2004 and 2008, according to court records.

In the 2004 case, he was fondling himself near a Kenner swimming pool in view of children and women, court records show. In 2008, he fondled himself in public while watching a woman sun-bathing at a Kenner motel, records show.

In the current case, Scott was caught on Wal-mart's surveillance video masturbating in the electronic department while watching a young boy, who appeared to be between 9 to 13 years of age, McGregor said.

A witness approached an off-duty Kenner police officer working a detail at the store at 8912 Veterans Memorial Boulevard.

Scott, whose address is 3040 Marietta St., remained Tuesday in the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna and bond had not been set, McGregor said.

Kenner Officer Nicholas Patterson is investigating the case.

Adobe targets Apple in ad campaign launched today, publishes open letter from founders

If you're reading Engadget today (and let's be honest, you're reading it right now), then you might have noticed that Adobe has launched a pretty full-force campaign to call out Apple on its anti-Flash mission. If you don't know what we're talking about, it's the advertisements that start with "We [heart] Apple." Along with the web ads, the company has also snagged a full page in today's Washington Post to address the battle in which the two companies have been engaged. All of this links back to a new statement from Adobe, as well as an open letter from founders Chuck Geschke and John Warnock ("Our thoughts on open markets"), addressing Apple's recent spate of clear and direct attacks against the company and its products....

Jesus Christ Involved In Controversy With Comedy Central

An extremist Christian group responded to the network's plan to create an animated series about their prophet, saying they would contact Muslim community as well to stop the development.

Jesus Christ has made a guest starring appearance in "South Park" but he's about to be given his own series. Comedy Central is thinking of having a cartoon series about the Christian leader and announced on Thursday, May 6 that it's indeed in the works under the title "JC". Already, the Catholic League issued a protest against the development.

The extremist group's president Bill Donohue encouraged people to take real action and posted Comedy Central's CEO's address on its website. He also said that Jesus is not only praised by Christians but also the Muslims, revealing "We will not only contact the Catholic community, we will contact Muslim organizations as well."

Donohue included a quote by Kent Alterman, a network official, who said, "In general, comedy in its purest form always makes some people uncomfortable." Donohue disagreed, saying "Besides the fact that there is no end to the number of comedians who have made a huge name for themselves without ever offending anyone, what is even more relevant is the fact that Comedy Central has absolutely no interest in making Muslims feel uncomfortable."

As one of the 23 newbies the channel is considering for the new season, "JC" will depict Jesus as a regular guy who moves to New York to "escape his father's enormous shadow." His father would be depicted as a man who would rather play video games than listening to his son.

Senate spokesperson Jaryn Emhof explained the incident to the State News: "He thought it was an email about an item being debated on the Senate floor. As soon as he realized it wasn't he closed the page."

However Bennett got to the image, in the video he does appear to click away from the page fairly quickly, only to open up another movie clip of what appears to be a dog shaking off after going for a swim.
