Aashi & Eric, Hyatt Regency

My mind drifts back to Aashi & Eric’s wedding every now and then for many reasons. That wedding was a mini reunion for us with so many families of past wedding clients in attendance – it felt like a reunion rather than work! Aashi and Eric are fantastic and I miss seeing them. The Hyatt was beautiful and sparkly that night – almost dream like; and the Staff and Vendors that we worked with were a delight.

The last 3 days have been BUSY as we welcome hundreds of visitors for the Lawrenceville Cookie Tour! Thanks to everyone that stopped in to say hello. Today is the last day; we’ll be here until 5:00 pm.
Thanks to my friend, Amy – the studio is ready and beautiful for The Tour. All in a days work, decorations hung, a new window, and of course, lunch!

Lauren & Joe The Carnegie Museum with a British Accent

Lauren and Joe chose the best of both worlds as they planned their wedding from across the pond. Who knew Terrible Towels look smashing with tux and tails? We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Laren and Joe, their families and their friends. They partied late into the evening and a fantastic time was had by all!

Time Flies

My friend Amy sent an email last week to ask for a few images of her kids. She recently reconnected with an old friend and wants to share the photos from one of our sessions with her.
That request sent me on a trip down memory lane. We’ve been photographing Jacob, Lucas and Noah every year since the days of film. This year, Jacob turned 18!
While we are generating ideas for this year’s session, I think a look back is in order – a gentle reminder to get a great photograph of your family every year!

We couldn’t leave the East Coast without a detour through the Poconos to see my sister’s Fiber Art Exhibit “Stratum” at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance. My niece’s graduation party was the same weekend – so fun!! I love their house overlooking the river, love the kitschy touches everywhere, but mostly, I love and miss that family. xoxo

Nothing makes us more excited than hearing from past wedding clients. Today I received the following heartwarming email:
Hi Steve and Barb,
We just celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary last weekend and we wanted to thank you for helping us make our wedding day so special. We LOVE the photos that you took and album that you created. It helps keep the day so fresh in our memories. Not only did you capture the moments of the day, but the two of you made the process leading up to our wedding and the wedding day so easy, comfortable and fun. We appreciated your professionalism, your expertise, your time and your friendliness. You felt like you were part of our family on our wedding day. Thank you for making that day so much more special and for giving us such a beautiful way to always cherish that day.

Last week, we were reunited with one of favorite babies! Leila is the 9 month old daughter of Abir & Bob, whose wedding we photographed in May of 2008. What a doll she is! Here are a few images from her Newborn and 6 month sessions and a sneak peak at her 9 month session. We look forward to the fall and Leila’s 1st birthday, when we will get to see her again!

There is so much happening here, it is hard to keep up! We are putting together a new look for packaging, weddings fill our weekends and portraits keep us moving during the week.
