Andy, the reason Mexico is such a POS country is because their government is even more corrupt than the USA is. Censorship has nothing to do with it.

THe Roman Empire lasted centuries and from what I have read they had orgies, beastaility, murder, rape, incest, etc…Sounds like the USA and other parts of the world.

Face it and get over it. All things that were ever made up by man that is considered rude, digusting, taboo, wrong, have already been done and will never go away.

THe only way to eradicate things that society deems “taboo” and I will use that word to describe all that need censoring, is to educate its people.

There are people in this world who beleive in whitches, ghost, and other supernatural nonsence plus people who stone other people, kill their children in the name of god because they brought shame upon the family. How absurd is that?

There are roughly 7 billion people on this planet and less than 2% have any rational thought in there upbringing. The other 98% are superstitous, scared little sheep, who would kill you because you dont have faith like they do.

How the hell can you say “if a neo-Nazi gets a hold of one of these mediums” will somehow hurt society? I know a lot of people are stupid followers but the vast majority know the difference between right and wrong.

Education is the key here. Not censorship or banning in any way or form. If you teach your child that the moveie they are watching is fake and the rape, murdering in it is not real they might actually learn that its not right to behave that way in real society.

Censorship only makes them want to see it more.

Plus, how is censorship containing anything? Right now your kids know more “dirty” words than you, know more about sex at an early age than you did, and know pretty much everything the government want to ban. In other words–they already know all the words, why ban them? If I were to make up a word and gave it a dirty meaning would it get censored? Censorship and banning is Idiocy in action.

I stumbled upon this questionairre while looking for an essay on censorship. At the top of this website, I noticed “For Christians”, and decided to see what it was all about, since I am a God-believing Christian. While reading this I was frantically serching the bible, and my self to what I thought about these questions; where the answers can be found, and addressing things I have never thought of before. I only answered about ten of your questions in my head when I skipped down to the end (I do that in books too), when I noticed while scrolling down things like, “Where did God come from” and “explain how God has mixed tempers” or something. It was then that I realized, I am going to have no answer good enough for you. My religion and what I believe can not be listed as a rebuttle, I can’t state line-by-line why I believe what I do. Because it’s not just a one time thing, it’s constantly living my life and seeing God come through for me all the time. I know I don’t have all the answers for you, I don’t even have all the answers for me. But part of my faith comes from knowing I have to believe sometimes without seeing; that’s what faith is to me. It’s trusting in something that’s bigger than me, even if it doesn’t make sense. I can’t explain all the questions to you, I had never even thought of some of the questions I had seen before. I’m not going to be the stereotypical Christian who says, “I’m praying for you to see the truth” or pushing my belief on you. I just know that for me, my life has been full of evidence God is there and God cares. I’ve seen Him prove it to me over and over again. To me, He’s worth more than having to go through life with a few unanswered questions. I don’t deny Heaven, Hell, Jesus, or Satan exists, I believe it. I look outside and see the beautiful things and I don’t know how anyone can say that someone didn’t create all of it. I can just leave you with I know He’s the truth, He’s shown me. Dare Him to prove Himself to you, just keep your eyes open to see how He does it.

haha I have read this whole blog and i find it funny that idiots keep defending the gun laws in the US. To be honest i own a rifle which i use for possum hunting in NZ (never ever thinking of using it for protection purposes), here i have to maintain a current firearms license in which i sit tests and the police come to check how I’m keeping my gun (locked up in a secure place away from ammunition which is locked up separately. If i wish to transport my gun it much remain locked up (cannot legally carry a gun on person) the police don’t even carry guns on them. I’m not defending owning a gun for the use of killing animals but if you could understand the situation where i live and the problems possums cause (i study biology at university and do not enjoy killing animals, especially native birds which is why i kill possums which have “ravaged the native new zealand landscape but this is far from the point) anyway back to the point, in nz as it is in australia and the uk, it is illegal to own a handgun which serves no other use (unlike shotguns or rifles on the farm or bush) other than to harm people, semi automatic and fully automatic assault rifles are also illegal as they serve no other purpose which cannot be fulfilled by a rifle other than to harm people as they are designed to do by the military. I feel im rambling quite a bit so ill get to the point, guns can in some respects be used as a tool but certain guns serve no other purpose than to harm people

using stupid statistics on how Washington DC has strict gun laws and a rising gun crime is ludacris!!!

i can see how some pro gun people say that it just stops law abiding citizens from owning guns and wouldn’t stop criminals and that Washington DC is an example of this but do they forget that other states within a short drive do allow handguns???? so no shit gun crime is going to continue to rise as the criminals are still able to access guns easily. Here in NZ i can live with the freedom of knowledge that I am HIGHLY unlikely to be shot as NO-ONE owns a handgun, neither criminal nor public (of which the public can become criminals too).

i laughed at the comment about how the Virginia tec massacre wouldn’t have happened if all the students had guns hahahahahaha such twisted logic!!!! how about the Virginia tec massacre would not have occured had the shoots not had such ready access to guns and ammunition.

thats just a touch of what i could ramble on about but i have more important things to do. Just look at the worldwide statistics on what industrialized country has the greatest murders, re-offending rates, incarceration rates, violent crime, incarceration lengths and then look at what country has the highest gun ownership and most relaxed gun laws and note what country that is…

i have lived in the untited states and canada and my family now lives in australia while i live in new zealand, i can tell you that 3 of those countries feel safer and just as free if not more freedom and you can guess which country i disliked the most (although a great place/more exciting none the least to live)

im not an american hater, its just i felt that when i was living there i could see just how the rest of the world gets so annoyed with them, they are very inward looking and know “sweet fuck all” about how the rest of us live. i would invite them to come see how it is outside the US

Your questions are not new. They reveal a lot of thought and anguish about what God is like. Those who reject God may really not be rejecting Him but a misconception of Him, and He knows that. He will take that into account when He judges you.

Many of your questions have the basis of eternal hellfire lurking in them. That is the reason many people disown God. In fact, eternal hellfire is a lie perpetuated by Satan. It started in Greek mythology (read Plato and Socrates) and was brought into the church by converts to Christianity (they also brought a lot of other pagan ideas with them). This false doctrine was gradually absorbed into the church and some Bible passages were translated with this in mind. Hence the confusion. God IS fair. He does NOT demand infinite punishment for finite crime! Study your Bible carefully and you will see that all the difficult passages can easily be resolved without resorting to the idea of eternal hellfire.
Here is food for thought: When Jesus died on the cross, He cried out “It is finished!” The word means, “The debt is paid!” IF Christ’s sacrifice was meant for all, for all time, AND He took our punishment on Himself so we could have eternal life, WHY IS HE NOT STILL BURNING FOR ETERNITY? Because THAT is not the punishment! Those who do not accept Christ’s sacrifice on the cross will have to pay their own punishment — but it will be limited, and sin and sinners will be “NO MORE”. I expect it will last no longer than Christ’s torment — a day and a night max.
God says, “I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked.” People through the ages have seriously distorted the character of God by teaching otherwise.

i was raised and exposed to a lot of religions but like my mother was brought up as a catholic. i have an answer for most of the questions on this page. it is really simple actually. lots of things happened because GOD gave man free will. fredom to make there own religion and freedom to believe what they want like the many religous leaders who published th niv bible in the 60’s after a conferance in chicago where they came together to agree what parts to include or exclude and why. this book compiled by man is now a cornerstone in christianity yet most christians are suprised to hear these blashemous words printed in the preface of the book they claim to know from cover to cover and without question. why do you insist that a book made my man is infallable? Apearently you know the ‘truth’ but question the words in the bible. but don’t take my word for it take any random webpage in another foreign language and translate it. then imagine what happened to the bible.
