I’ve been writing Tower of the Elves for a while. Sadly, writing myself into a dead end has been a real problem for me.

My outline for Tower of the Elves has not been detailed enough. Writing on the fly is not one of my talents. Thankfully, there are strong outline templates for me to use for Tower of the Elves.

For the fifth time, Tower of the Elves will be rewritten from the beginning again.  With all the rough drafts I have, I can at least salvage some parts of the old drafts in order to write Tower of the Elves faster.  Of course, the editing process will be handled with time and tender care.

I wanted to share my Youtube channel, but, most importantly, a video about my goals for 2018. I need to share my work with my audience and no longer with the first people that I see.

I am adding more chapters for the protagonist’s (Ferris) love interest. I feel that Paine’s points of views adds a lot to the story. This story is on it’s second draft. I am altering some parts of the rough draft for the second draft.

For some reason, I can not write inside of my house. I barely type anything in Scrivener and I stare at the screen for a very long time. When I’m at Starbucks or the library, I type and type as long as the building is open to the public.

The benefits to writing in any coffee shop is that the baristas understand that you are working, there are other creative people present, and there’s a constant change of scenery. It is crazy how many words I am able to put on paper when I decide to leave the house.

I finished the first draft of my second story and I grabbed stock images for future cover. I will touch up on designing an ebook cover in later posts. Right now, I printed out all of my second ebook’s story. I was surprised to see how many pages I had already typed. The ebook will have more pages then I thought it would.

Even though I’m still trying to switch to digital only, printing out the whole story on paper makes editing easier for me. Since this is a fantasy story, I need to world build a bit better. I will need to draw a map in edition to making my characters’ personalities make sense.

I am now moving on to my second ebook.  This ebook will be m/m romance.  I plan on making this a longer ebook.  I am done writing and planing the character’s personalities, the story, and the world building.  There is no telling how long this ebook will take to write.   After writing A Life for a Purse, I have an easier time planing and writing stories.

With pressure from her mother to stop pursuing her dreams and an ultimatum from her cousin, time is running out for Noel. Pushed into buying an expensive purse for Stephanie as a Christmas gift, Noel goes to the store one evening and waits patiently in line. What lies in wait at the store is a terrifying ordeal of violence which will shake the very foundations of her family and leave them questioning their actions and how they have treated her.
