This one goes out to the romantics, the hopefuls, the hopeless, the ones who opens their heart to the ones they love and trust. "For The First Time, Again" is an emotional, acoustic ballad perfect for reminiscing under your favorite tree. There's nothing boundary pushing or too exotic about this song, but it's a beatiful song that cuts straight to your soul which houses all of the feels. Hell, I might throw this on my wedding playlist.

Let us introduce you to the song "Unlimited Dreams Corporation," a tune off of their latest album Unlimited Dreams Corporation. It's the opening track to the LP, setting a calming, meditative mood for your busy mind.

They include excerpts of mindfulness monologues, while smooth and buttery grooves resonate in the background. We encourage you to use the song to next time you are becoming overstimulated and anxious. Go ahead and release the tension.

"Echo From The Flame" is a lonely room in a big house, and you only have the heat of the fire keeping you company. Their soft track from their now-released album, Full Circle, feels intimate, soft-spoken, and honest. Far removed from Tom Misch's charm, it feels more like a beautiful elegy: a montage of magic and calm. Tom Misch has given in to his soft solo energy and "Echo From The Flame" makes me hungry for more, more soft spoken power and earnest yearning.

Like a respectful director, BUNT takes the beauty of Temper Trap's original "Sweet Disposition" and remixes it for a new age with "What If You Fly," and the two minds mold into a beautiful experience.

BUNT's reimagining of Temper Trap's classic feels more like a tribute than anything; it feels like a love letter to a sound we all miss, an old family member that had gone and left, and now we all just sit with the memories. "What If You Fly" is hopeful and powerful and a beaming electro dance track that gripped my soul.

I don't know where you're reading this from, but I'm in the middle of a torrential downpour at the time of writing this. It couldn't have been more perfect timing because "Spider Song" is a track that really shines during intense, inclement weather.

The songs gently lets you into flyingfish's world with nice, clean guitaring and airy vocals. Then, suddenly, you get sucker punched with a wave of reverb and distortion, the special sauce for any Shoegaze fan. The heavy lyrics also add a ton a bricks to the already emotional instrumentation. Settle in, and let the storm of sounds take you.

What's so good?

It's not every day that you stumble across a song of genuine hit quality before it's even registered a few thousand streams. There are a few categories that come to mind. There are tracks sitting in the four-digit range that are good, but whose relative anonymity is probably warranted. Then there are others, also in that range -- around 5k streams or so -- that simply haven't been discovered yet but are almost certain to blow up. Kind of like Fcukers when Jason and I first heard them, to give a more recent example. Most of the time, though, you find solid tracks already sitting somewhere between 10k and 100k+ listens.

So why lay all this out? Because "stickman" doesn't seem to have any registered plays on Spotify yet. And beyond that, it's of the highest quality, with serious potential. It's the kind of discovery you only make when you wander deep into the indie music maze. I found this one buried in a playlist by Alice Costelloe, who popped up on my radar at The Great Escape -- a grassroots music conference and festival held annually in Brighton.

ryan malcs is a London based musician who is also a producer, songwriter, and occassional keys player for the massive Wolf Alice . I'm not surprised the song is this good and has had so little promotion. I would consider that the Digital Age's version of humility. I'm genuinely revved up to dig in to his EP, go slowly.

This song takes you back to those warm memories of barbeques on a hot summer day, or that elusive glory nap on the side of a grassy hill those many years ago, stress free. They sing in both English and Indonesian, but you don't need to know Indonesian to understand where they're coming from. "Boru" is an absolute heart warmer.

What's so good?

I’ve heard two stories recently from people whose relationships ended abruptly. After a reunion for closure, the former loved one on the other end of the table seemed like a stranger. They both expressed how it felt like they had to mourn someone who was still alive, as the person they knew had essentially died.

Hotel Ugly’s "Shut Up My Mom’s Calling" is a sonic snapshot of this experience, with lyrics like, "You got me feeling so lonely / Even when you come through / I can tell that it isn’t you." The chorus is a heartfelt plea for the loved one to come home.

To be human is to take our mental hooks and latch them onto people, places, and things that hold fast for only a limited time. How we deal with the object turning to smoke and our hook coming loose is what captures my attention. May we all find pathways to our own inner strength.

It's match point, and I need to get some "Boba. " Auteurs of the electronic space, SOFI TUKKER aren't strangers to fun jams, but "Boba" is different ; "Boba" feels fun and cinematic at the same time.

Hello Indie Shuffle, I haven't written in a long time, but I do still exist. My brain still works, so, I can still write. I listen to music, of course, which means I've obviously stumbled on lots of good music that should be on the blog. There's a lot for me to catch you up on. But, you see, I drifted off into the ether somewhere, perhaps it was a land called "Me no bloggy music Land." It's just west of Germany, but I won't bore you with those details.

Anyways, on my journey I found this beautiful remix by kryptogram. The Serbian has offered Night Tapes' song a fabulous, synth-laden skip -- and my word is it skippy.

It's been danced to, in my underwear, often. It's been with me in good moments, and some bad ones too, and now it has a home here on Indie Shuffle.

Geniet ervan allemaal!

Joji frankensteins his own heart and identity on “Last of a Dying Breed.” There’s a sense of self-destruction and self-release running through the track. It plays like a cry for help wrapped in acceptance, as though the damage has already been done and all that’s left is surrender.

Joji emerged alongside the strange, rapid evolution of internet culture, and “Last of a Dying Breed” carries the weight of someone trying to stay emotionally intact while the world speeds up around them. There’s something almost overwhelming about how much Joji gives of himself here. And by the end of it, all I wanted to do was hold him for a second and say thank you.

Modern Diet invites us to a reading of their latest novel, "Maria," and I am so excited to get an autograph.

Sometimes you take a book off the shelf, open up the pages, and read whatever line catches your eye, and you are sucked in forever. "Maria" by Modern Diet is the sound of modern literature ; it's quirky, it's strange, it's heartfelt, and it is wildly creative. Modern Diet plays with the typography of its story and sound the way a kid plays with unmatched Legos.

"Maria" is intimate and contains so many little corners of magic.

What's so good?

Okay, the original version of this song by Radiohead one of my favorite of all time. And by no coincidence, Kid A, the album it opens, is also one of my favorite albums of all time.

I actually wasn't expecting this remix when it came on - I was just playing Spotify's Release Radar in the background. But holy shit, once it kicked in, I felt I had an obligation to rush over and blog it.

Gigamesh has a really cool backstory about this song, which you can read here .

It feels like a quiet night drive through the city, the wind low and the volume turned up. The kind of song that stays on repeat until something shifts, until a new chapter begins. And most fittingly, it’s one worth sharing on Indie Shuffle.

While most of my recent listening has been instrumental, a unique feature of Sunrom’s latest EP, Everlight, is that each track is marked by the Parisian artist’s vocals.

“I Just Try” is emotive from the outset, and as the track unfolds, the listener’s emotional pull deepens and intensifies. It’s a song that accompanies you on a journey, and it is equally a journey in and of itself.

"Opals" is a bit less vocal-focused and a bit more groove-focused. It's still recognizably Slowdaze, but there are major hints of acts like Jungle and Maribou State in there as well.
What's so good?

Jose Gonzales graces our souls again with "A Perfect Storm," a whirling wind of a track from his latest album, Against The Dying of The Light.

Jose Gonzales has always been a wailing ghost amongst the spirits and sounds of the indie space . With melancholic ballads like "Far Away" and beaming epics like "Stay Alive," he has always been like water, flowing and adjusting to the world's heart .

With "A Perfect Storm," those waters are getting restless. "A Perfect Storm" flows and curves around itself in the wind of its aforementioned name; it builds and builds until the wave can't hold anymore and cracks under the pressure.
