• Sleek Cosmetics probably need no further introduction. This UK Based cosmetics brand is becoming well known for it’s high quality eyeshadow palettes and wallet friendly prices.
• The Original Palette is one of four Sleek Cosmetics Palettes I own and is a wonderful palette to have with a set of shimmery eyeshadows but for one matte black eyeshadow.
• It can be a fun and basic palette to own, a perfect one to start with I’d say if you’re a newbie to eyeshadow palettes. It works to pull off a smoky look, a natural look or even a fun and vibrant look.
• Sleek Eyeshadows are known for a reason – they’re high quality and highly pigmented. A little swipe goes a long way and have awesome staying power.
• Texture and finish – Satiny and creamy; shimmery, but for the black one which is matte.
• Slight fall out observed.
• I love this palette for its lovely colours, a variety of different tones that works well against my skin tone, and any skin tone, really. Colours included in this palette are:
  • Matte Black – beautiful to use to line the eyes or smoke it up!
  • Shimmery blue toned purple – not my favourite colour, but nice to add a little vibrancy and fun.
  • Shimmery dark navy – beautiful as a liner and also to smoke your look up a notch!
  • Shimmery electric blue – bright, bold and fun!
  • Bright and shimmery turquoise – love how gorgeous this is!!
  • Shimmery spring green – another gorgeous and awesome colour!
  • Shimmery banana yellow; unfortunately though, this shade flakes badly.
  • Shimmery and light Barbie pink – nice and perfect to pull off a natural look.
  • Shimmery peachy pink – another perfect eyeshadow shade to pull off a natural look.
  • Shimmery orange toned copper shade – beautiful and metallic shade
  • Shimmery warm bronze – nice shade for a basic and natural look, a favourite of mine
  • Shimmery olive green – another favourite, a beautiful and satiny finish.

• Naruko is a Taiwanese brand that has made headlines across blogs for it’s amazing beauty products. I have been intrigued for the longest time and have only recently jumped onto the bandwagon and boy, have I been impressed.
• Naturally, Naruko’s BB cream is way too light for me to use as a foundation. However, it works for me as a sunscreen and because of it’s sheer tint and incredibly lightweight formula, it does not actually mess up my makeup, and in fact enhances it. Kinda like my sunscreen + primer step.
• Texture – light and creamy.  Sinks in beautifully into skin.
• Tint – Although the tint is light and really sheer, it does not leave a white cast on my skin. *happydance* Gives that nice skin but better look. Skin looks instantly refreshed.
• Fragrance – smells like a mix of essential oils and herbs. Mild and pleasant.
• Coverage – incredibly sheer and light.
• Finish – Light and moisturising. Leaves my skin with that natural glow. With powder on top, I’m ready to go. Plus, skin feels amazingly soft post-application. Smooths skin out nicely. Awesome oil control.
• For fairer skins, can definitely use this alone, however, for medium to darker skin tones, this product is probably best as a sunscreen/primer and you can nicely layer this product with a light foundation or powder for a more even finish.

• I can best describe Olay Complete Care Enriched Night Cream as a general maintenance and care moisturiser. You know, basic, no frills; none of those whitening, anti ageing or regenerating extra extra.
• Texture: Light and non greasy. Good slip. Easily absorbed by the skin. Emollient.
• Fragrance: Mild.
• Upon application, skin feels nicely refreshed, moisturised and hydrated.
• Next morning, nice and fresh glow observed. *happydance*
• Suitable for normal and combination skin types wanting moisture, hydration and an even skin tone.

Swirl on this orchid blossom blush for a heavenly flush of enlightenment! These four shades – lucky shell, divine peach, heavenly rose and berry delight – blend together perfectly to lift your look to cloud 9.

• Benefit describes this as a soft orchid blossom flush. Made up of four shades as described above in a pinwheel design, I’d say that the description is fairly accurate.
• One would have to use all four shades to observe that gorgeous flush that this blush imparts and as each shade is represented in quite a tiny strip, it’d be fairly hard to swirl just a shade on it’s own. If you just absolutely have to use the shades individually, I’d say the best is to swirl through two shades at least for a subtle flush, though, I see the best value and beautiful effect when I swirl my blush brush through all four shades.
• The shades are a pale beige with a hint of shimmer and a somewhat satiny finish (lucky shell), a warm peach with golden shimmer (divine peach), a soft rose with a slight sheen (heavenly rose) and a soft plum shade with a slight sheen (berry delight). They blend together to create a most beautiful warm yet soft pink with a subtle light peach undertone and a hint of shimmer that’s not over the top.
• The final look is more of a soft, lovely flush rather than an all-out bright cheeks effect.
• Pigmentation-wise, certainly isn’t strong; but sufficient to merely create that soft flush, healthy and fresh glowing cheeks that everyone craves.
• The texture itself is smooth and certainly easy to apply.
• Given that it has a few different shades representing both warm and cool undertones, I’d say that it can actually reflect beautifully on most skin tones and it’d pull off a different effect depending on your own skin undertone. On me, it goes on rather light and imparts just that barely there soft, soft hint of a warm rosy pink blush; though you’d certainly have to really look to see it. It’s perfect for a barely there look, like for work.
• On me, it can also serve well as a highlighter since it goes on with that “barely there” effect which is perfect on my skin tone.
• There is also a slight floral scent which I thought was a lovely addition.
