As an online business manager, I am your business bestie who strives for a long and fruitful business relationship. When talking to business owners who are contemplating to hire me, there are a few common questions business owners have when they are ready to hire an Online Business Manager:

Will you take over my business so I can lay back and have you run my business for me?

Will you tackle my to-do list?

Will you praise all my decisions?

The answer: nope, none of that.

But, as an Online Business Manager you can expect me to:

Keep it real with you (even if you don’t want to hear it. It wouldn’t make sense for me to only tell you what you want to hear… how would your business grow and improve if I did that?)

Be your professional wing woman (think Solange to your Beyonce)

Take over the daily operations of your business. You are the CEO, not me.

You would be surprised how many entrepreneurs are really struggling to get it together in their business. Some of you know that you need to reach out for help. Yep, I’m calling you out. It’s all in love sis. I care and want to see you (and your business succeed). STOP sabotaging your business. Stop telling yourself myths like:

I don’t need an online business manager, I can just hire a virtual assistant

I can’t afford to hire an online business manager

I need to have everything organized before I hire an OBM

I’ll lose control of my business if I hire an OBM. Nobody can run my business like me!

I don’t have time to train someone to work in my business

When the truth is:

A VA does tasks and assists in the business, while the OBM actually manages and runs part (or sometimes all) of the business

You’re probably currently sacrificing money for your time. You could be spending 10-15 hours per month performing all the tasks or management OUTSIDE of your business instead of being INSIDE your business focused on your zone of genius. Sounds like a fair trade to me sis.

A good OBM will be the one to help you get organized in your business

I get it, your business is your baby. It’s hard to let someone else be responsible. However, you are only one person. Get off the hamster wheel and let someone help you.

If you invest in the right OBM, you shouldn’t have to train them. They should know the business side.

If you’ve gotten this far, (thanks for sticking with me) ask yourself this:

Are you ready to go from:

Overwhelmed

No strategy

Stuck in daily tasks

Working IN your business

Winging it

To:

Radical clarity

Strategy

Automated systems in place

Working ON your business

In control

If you answered yes to any of the above, what are you waiting for? Invest in you. Invest in your business. YOU ARE WORTH IT.

I would love to chat with you about how we can get your business moving in the right direction of growth, flourishing, and getting you back in your zone of genius so you can have more time to do what you do best.

Congratulations queen! You are taking the leap and launching a new program. Launching a program can feel like a HUGE commitment. Bottom line sis: launching is stressful.

You want your launch to be both beneficial AND impactful right? The key to success with your launch is understanding where you should focus your time and efforts and how to manage each step of the process. You’re probably thinking, well what if I do not have any strategies in place for my launch? Girl, I got you. Here are three things to consider when launching your coaching program:

Plan like a pro
A solid plan is the foundation for every single successful launch. Some questions to ask yourself as you are in the planning stage:

What will my official launch date be? (make sure to give yourself time for any hiccups that may arise)

Who is the target audience for my program (and how can I engage with them to make sure my program is seen by them)

How can I build anticipation for my launch? (beta program, waitlist, glimpse into the program, behind the scenes)

If you have a team, who can you designate to tackle key action items in the launch process?

1 hour of planning can save you 10 hours of doing. Remember a goal without a plan is just a wish! We don’t wish sis, WE DO.

Utilize a project management tool
Thanks to technology there are a ton of tools that can make streamlining workflows more efficient. We work smarter, not harder around here. Using a project management tool :

Makes collaboration with team members easier

Improves customer/client communication

Outlines goals

Eliminates confusion by defining everyone’s role

An effective project management tool can improve how you report work to your team (making you more efficient as a whole), hold everyone accountable for their role, and increase confidence that goals are being reached.

System Integration
Like a house requires a solid foundation , so does your business. You want to ensure that all of your systems and softwares stay on top of their operations so that your business can remain productive and effective. Ensure all systems are connected with each other. This will only be accomplished by making sure every part of your business is properly connected and communicating with one another. For example:

email marketing leads to sales pages

payment processor connected with your CRM system.

The same way a good team of employees has built great chemistry through collaborating and knowing weaknesses, strengths, and capabilities is the same way systems and software should all work together in perfect harmony to ensure effectiveness and productivity.

The launch is a crucial component for every business owner. However, it does not have to be the nightmare that some make it out to be. With a little time, patience, organization, and execution, you can pull off even the toughest of launches like an expert!

Uncertain that you can get it all done by yourself or even with your team? Schedule a call with me here and let’s chat and see if I can help you pull off a beautifully supported launch…every single time you launch.

So warmly,

We’re heading into the 3rd quarter. It’s time to buckle up and meet your business goals. For many businesses, the 3rd quarter is a key indicator for how the remainder of the year will play out (insert holiday mode in quarter 4). Ideally, even while you’re working on your current goals, you should still be thinking (and planning) ahead. I know sis, it’s a lot to handle but you got this. No need to start panicking. Even if you’re behind right now, with these 3 tips there’s still time to cultivate success in the 3rd quarter.

Get systems set up on the backend
How’s your backend doing so far this year? Be honest. The more structured you are, the greater success your business will experience. Some examples of backend processes include setting up automations, content creation, project management, and the onboarding/offboarding process. Getting all the “behind-the-scenes” work done can take patience, time, and effort but it’s worth it in the end. It will make your business easier to navigate and leave you feeling confident in being the CEO of your business. If you’re ready to go from a one woman show to a scaling CEO, I would love to help you manage the backend of your business. Click here for a complimentary consultation.

Create a sales strategy for Q3 & Q4
It’s not enough to be persistent and present, you must also generate profit. This is where a sales strategy comes in. This could look like showing up in your expertise (consistently), creating a powerful lead magnet, and an automated email sequence. You want to provide value to your potential client so they are actually happy to exchange their email address, foster your lead, showcase your expertise, and lead towards your offer (and hopefully convert to a sale!). A powerful sales strategy will bring your business a consistent stream of leads helping you scale more swiftly.

Hire support NOW (not later)
As a busy business owner, it can be challenging (and sometimes scary) to align your staffing volume with the growth of your business. Knowing when it’s time to hire support isn’t always simple but it’s certainly necessary. If you find you’re working yourself to the bone, running out of hours in the day to get tasks accomplished, or stuck existing in your business rather than growing it, then it’s time to delegate sis. In the words of Peter Drucker “do what you do best and outsource the rest.”

If you focus on these three actions to wrap up the year, I promise you’ll feel organized and aligned in your business — and there’s no better feeling than that going into a new year! If you’re feeling overwhelmed in your business click here to learn more about my System Audit Intensive where I help you implement a strategic plan to meet your business goals.

Taking the time to center the third quarter around these items will give you trust and confidence in what lies ahead and how your business can optimize it. We can never predict the future, but we can definitely plan for it. See you in the 3rd quarter queen!

So warmly,

Ines
