Today is Laura's, from Finding Home, debut on Infarrantly Creative as one of my new contributors. She brings to us a cool font art sharpie table she made. Her technique is simple enough to transfer into all sorts of ideas, like a sharpie desk, art piece, lampshade, etc. This whole little area she created is drool worthy. Please join me in welcoming Laura to the stage.

I showed you Isaac’s new Lego Table I made from a 1980s parquet table this week. He adores it and has spent every waking moment up there since he received a bunch of new Lego sets for his birthday last week. Did you notice those adorable little Lego head bins? Nope I didn’t buy those.

1980s parquet tables with glass insets run rampant on Craigslist. I scored one for cheap and transformed it into an amazing DIY Lego table for my son. The cool part is the baseplates are removable so you can move your Lego creations to another location.

When it comes to porches like this one, I really think it's the concept of an outdoor room that appeals to us. Lucky for those of us who don't own vintage farmhouses with gigantic porches, it's still possible to create the impression of an outdoor room on a deck, patio, or lawn. I've searched the internet to find tutorials for five of the elements of this porch. Now it's up to you to decide how to use them in your outdoor decor.

I want to be the first to introduce you to Tricia from Simplicity in the South. She is one of my new contributors and today is her big debut on Infarrantly Creative. When I saw her blog and her amazing style I reached out to her and begged her to be part of my team. I think you will realize quick how talented she is and you will want to spend some time over at her house checking out her projects.

I saw these adorable font art pieces at Uncommon Goods perfect for Mother’s Day. The artist is Patricia Carlin and she has all sorts of cool stuff on there. The ones I liked the best was the math equations showing the infinite love you have for your kiddos or grandkids. They are super simple to make using the online program Ipiccy.com and would be a quick gift for Mother’s Day this weekend. I also have a free printable to help you get started.

The sun is out, the weather is warm, the flowers are blooming and my allergies are in full effect. That could only mean one thing – spring is here! I am so totally thrilled to be moving on from winter. I get so excited this time of year to open the windows and let fresh air in, to go on bike rides with my kids, and to watch my kids wear themselves out jumping on our trampoline for hours. I thought I would showcase some of my older spring projects that are perfect for the least of the craftiest out there.
