Gold mining baron Tony Sage has just recently plunked down a cool $8 million diamond encrusted iPhone 4. This extravagant iPhone was recreated by British designer Stuart Hughes whose main business focus is the remake of expensive gadgets into even more expensive gadgets. Only 2 of these iPhones were produced by him.

500 flawless individual diamonds surround the iPhone 4 Diamond Rose which add up to a whopping 100 total carat weight with another 53 providing the decor on the rear. And, if that wasn’t enough for you, the navigation button was replaced with a single 7.40 carat pink diamond set in platinum.

My only hope for this phone is that at this price it better not drop calls whatsoever! Do you think the diamonds would help with the reception?

I don’t know if it’s worth it or not however Mahesh Patel, a commercial property investor, has recently “invested” $150,000 into a bottle of 64-year-old Dalmore Trinitas. That works out to about $32,000 per glass. At that price it better be the answer to all of your troubles!

Richard Paterson was the master blender who created this one of only three bottles in the world of the Dalmore 64. Apparently his nose is so attuned to Whiskey that the Lloyds of London have insured it for $2.5 million. Twenty years was spent to produce the Whiskey which contains a mixture of Seville oranges, mango, traces of muscovado sugar and truffles, and hints of treacle toffee and soft licorice. During the process it was transferred from 15 different casks made of various types of wood to evoke its “spirit”.

“The Dalmore 64 tastes like purple heaven,” – master blender Richard Paterson.

Patel mentioned that this blend was made up of batches that were up to 140 years old, making this bottle rare and impossible to ever create again once drank.

Taking over the throne of the worlds shortest man, previously held by 24-year-old Edward “Nino” Hernandez from Colombia is 18-year-old Nepalese teen Khagendra Thapa Magar. He officially measured in at 26.4 inches (67.08cm) by a team of Guiness World Record adjudicators which was 0.4 inches (1cm) shorter than Edward.

“Khagendra Thapa Magar is now officially the shortest man in the world,” said Marco Frigatti, head of global records.

Magar weighs in at an astonishing 6.5 kilograms (14 pounds) and doctors believe he was born with a form of primordial dwarfism which affects only a few hundred people globally. Life expectancy is unfortunately shortened to as little as 20 years. However, that’s not stopping Magar from acting as a goodwill Nepalese tourism ambassador.

The ceremony was held in Pokhara, Nepal which is a quintessential mountain town nestled in the Himalayan’s near where Khagendra grew up. His family had always campaigned for him to be officially recognized as the worlds smallest man however they did need to wait until he turned 18 to be eligible for the recognition.

This was an interesting discovery I made earlier in the week when I had a mishap with some of my stock. I sell a wide variety of things on eBay just as a side business and usually keep some stock on hand to be able to ship out immediately. Well I accidentally sold out of one item and hadn’t noticed (I swore I had more) at which point I sold the same item again on a “Buy It Now” listing. This left me with the dilemma of trying to rush order the item from my source.

Here is where the problem started though. I promise that I will usually ship within 2 days of receiving cleared payment and the item that I had rush ordered hadn’t arrived yet. I wrote a message to my buyer stating that they could either wait a little bit longer or I could just cancel the transaction and refund them their money. They wanted their money back and I was willing to bet money on it that they would leave me some negative feedback.

So I logged into my account a few hours later only to find out that they had left positive feedback stating that I kept great communication with them, my products were awesome and would recommend others to purchase from me! I was almost dumbfounded to see this. Are people on eBay just simply that gracious and forgiving? I’m still trying to figure it out.

Just as a note, I don’t recommend going and doing this on a regular basis just to up your feedback. It could catch up with you sooner or later!

What a roller coaster ride this website has been for me! What started out in 2007 as a fun general trivia and informative website ended up morphing into my attempt of a blog directory to help new bloggers get recognized. Well needless to say that didn’t work, but at least I can say I tried.

Now it’s back to how I originally intended it to be which is a fun to read website with interesting tidbits of information. As the website gains more exposure (it did have a Google PR of 4 at one time!) I will be conducting product reviews as well.

Also, if you’re interested, I will be looking for guest writers and more ideas for content to write about to make this a truly enjoyable website to drink with a cup of coffee (or tea).
