The official London EXIT festival launch party.

After hosting a hugely successful series of hard hitting bass music nights, showcasing the cutting edge sound of the UK underground. The Regulate team are taking their unique vibe overseas to EXIT Festival, one of Europe’s most forward thinking summer music events.

The festival will be held on July the 12th -15th at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, and as a taster of things to come in Serbia, Regulate have put together a one-off special party to be held at Fireclub in Vauxhall.

Headed up with Swamp81 boss man Loefah unleashing his box of exclusive material on a seriously weighty soundsystem. Joining him will be label mates Boddika and Mickey Pearce, the sound defining Dark Sky crew, a live appearance from brotherly UK duo Disclosure, Numbers favourite Deadboy and much more. With Audio Doughnuts and Get Some providing yet more fire for Rooms 2 and 3, this event will be an essential warm up for the summer.

Zero Cool Gallery are showcasing the opening of their summer spectacular ‘SUPERPOPMAGICSHOW!’at Red Bull Studios London, featuring a whole host of Technicolor kids raised on a diet of TV and Popping Candy. Presenting a collection of Subversive Pop treats for all you lovely people.

However it doesn’t stop at the opening night as Zero Cool have teamed up with Red Bull Curates to spread a little ‘SUPERPOPMAGIC!’ around London by bringing artists from the exhibition into venues across the capital. Red Bull Curates collaborates with artists and venues giving them a platform to showcase their work and turning traditional venues into a creative environment. Artists have been teamed with a venue and given two days to create a bespoke piece in each space which will be a permanent feature.

 The exhibition at Red Bull Studios will feature new original works from Copyright (UK), Ben Frost (AUS), INSA (UK), Andrew McAttee (UK), BeiBadgirl (AUS), Numskull (AUS), Cranio (BRA), Bridge Stehli (AUS), Gemma Compton (UK), Jon Drypnz (NZ) and Hayden Kays (UK)

London’s top spoken word night is back giving you the best in live music and poetry.
May’s edition brings together freestyle Hip Hop, Kora masters and scintillating Soul into one intimate package of aural goodness. All profits will be donated to humanitarian aid charity Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), ensuring that its strictly positive energy.

Performers on the night:

JOE DRISCOLL (w/The Local Posse): Lyrix favourite and one-man band extraordinaire, Joe Driscoll seamlessly blends Hip Hop freestyle, beatbox, Reggae and more with his irresistible roadshow.

JALLY KEBBA SUSSO (w/Jon Speedy): Jally is simply dazzling with his West African 21-string bridge-harp, the kora. One of the most beautiful instruments around, Jally adds charismatic style to this captivating traditional sound of Griots.

KADIJA KAMARA: An unmissable talent who (finally) makes her Lyrix debut with silky smooth vocals delivered with drop dead style. Hotly tipped with previous collaborations including Zed Bias and Joey Negro.

RYAN WILLIAMS: Launching a new platform for young performers with that special spark that we have stumbled upon during our Lyrix Organix youth partnerships. Lyrix Introduces: 18-year old Ryan Williams (Ashford, Kent) who has a sharp ear for a Grime lyric and a great Folk-rooted voice. One to watch!

MASAI: Oh, and the sick flyer is designed by the very talented street artist, Masai who’s trademark large scale animals on walls are making waves from London to Kingston Jamaica
