NEW MARKER CLUB NOW FORMING!

I have had quite a few requests for my marker club, so I am happy to announce I am forming two new clubs. The first club is full, but still need a few more people for club #2. For those of you who do not know about my marker club, let me give you the details.

The marker club will consist of four members and run for a total of four months. Each of you will be the hostess one time during the club cycle. The hostess month is determined on a first-come, first-served basis, so whomever signs up first gets to be the first hostess, etc. The hostess for that month will get at least $15 in free SU merchandise plus one free Level 1 stamp set. You may add other supplies to your order to increase your hostess benefits.

YOU WILL RECEIVE:

Each Month

- One color family (that's 12) of the Stampin' Up! Markers.

- One pack of coordinating 8 ½ x 11 cardstock.

Hostess Month:

- All the above, and:

- Stampin' Up! Markers Plastic Storage/Carrying Case

- $15 (minimum) in products from any current Stampin' Up! Catalog.

- One, Level 1 (minimum) Hostess Gift from the current Stampin' Up! Catalog.

- If you choose to gather outside orders or schedule a workshop when it's your turn as hostess, you can get even more free merchandise.

PAYMENT:

- Payment will be due to me by the 15th of each month. You may pay by check, cash, credit card or PayPal.

- The cost for participating in the marker club is $42.00 per month (this includes tax and shipping).

- You will commit to participate in all four months.

At the end of four months, each member will have a complete set of markers with the storage case, a Level 1 stamp set and at least $15 in free merchandise. PLUS, each month I will provide with tips and techniques on the different ways to use your markers. AND I will provide FREE samples of these techniques.

Sale-a-Bration Sample

Hi everyone!

Hope you enjoyed the weekend and are all ready to start a brand new week! As you know, Sale-a-Bration is going on right now in the SU world and people are picking up these free products like crazy. Remember- purchase $50.00 and receive FREE stuff. Who doesn't love FREE stuff? There are some really neat products you can pick from the Sale-a-Bration catalog, along with a list of sets from the 2009-2010 Idea Book and Catalog. Over the course of the next couple of weeks, a lot of my posts will be focusing on these great sets and hopefully you will see just how versatile these sets truly are.

The first card focuses in on the set Happy Moments.

As you can see, the set comes in both French and English. Above is the French version. The words state Happy Birthday, thank you and for you. Below is the card I made using this set.

Tools- Big Shot, Texture Plates, Scallop Trim Punch, Pennant Die Cut (for Pumpkin Pie Scallop), 1 3/4 circle punch, blender pens

Don't you love the textured plate? It gives a great look to the card.

Scrappin Saturday

Welcome to another addiiton of Scrappin Saturday. Today's layout is one I did for my son's 4th birthday. The theme for this party was robots. Stampin' Up! has an adorable stamp set called Lots of Bots. When I saw this set, I knew I wanted one of my boys to have a robot party. The 4 year old was a bit easier to convince than the 8 year old :)

The night before the party I stayed up making a paper robot out of cardstock, punches and brads. Here is the robot.

and here is the scrapbook page I made using this picture.

The paper is all SU (Dusty Durango, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Basic Gray and Basic Black. The starts are the same colors with a little YoYoYellow thrown in and covered with glitter.The eyes were made using the circle cutter plus and the rest were punches. Very simple, but a cute page to make.

Baby Girl

A week o so ago I showed you a baby boy card I made using the Something Sweet Set. Well today' scard is a baby girl card that I saw at my upline Barbara's house. Take a peek.

Don't you love the colors. Pink and Brown are such a great combo. Add a little bit of the Sweet Pea DSP and some satin ribbon and you have a great looking card :)

Swappin Sunday

Welcome to Swappin Sunday. Swappin Sunday is the day I share with you some of the swaps I have received. Today's swap uses the new set With All my Heart. This can be found in the Occasions Mini catalog.

This card uses a few of the new products. The new Scallop Edge Punch and Scallop Corner PUnch. The colors here are nice and tropical. The Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo just shout FUN! Throw in some polka dotted ribbon and you have a cute card :)

Scrappin Saturday

Once a week a friend and I try to get together and scrap. It is really the only time I get to work on my own scrapbooks. I am trying to change that, but it is hard :) This is a layout I came up with a couple weeks ago. I saw something similar on another site, made some changes, tweaked it and made it my own. Take a peek...

These are from last fall when we went apple picking. I used oval punches for the pumpkins and the Season of Friendship set for the tree and leaves. The DSP used is Sweet Pea. I really liked how it came out and I hope you do too :)
