Okay, I just couldn't wait to share what I made in My Digital Studio. I had purchased the program about a year ago just to have cause it was on sale ( a rare opportunity from Stampin' Up). I finally got around to trying it out after my grandson's first birthday. It was really the easiest thing I have ever done.

Hi Stampers,

Hope you are having better weather than I am. It is rainy, dank and bone chilling! Definitely no golf weather but I really don't mind as long as I can either scrapbook or make my cards. Did you ever have one of those crazy months where you totally collapse in a heap? Well I just came out of my crazy month of April. It gets this way every year. Busy with Easter, kids birthdays, grand-kids birthdays, MIL birthday (90th with a big bash at our house, sheesh!), in-law b-days, retirement lists to get out, traveling far and near to get to those places to celebrate. Sometimes I think it is just better to get it all over with in one month bu then I feel a bit lonely during the rest o the year. BUT not to worry. I have on grand-kids birthday in AUGUST. Wow! What a treat! Although it is not APRIL it still starts with an A! What's going on here? AND another grand-kid on the way......wait for it.......August. Phew, I really feel we dodged that bullet. The two in August will be close enough in days so we can celebrate together with family. It is tough when your family lives so far away. Anyway, thought you might like to hear about my adventures in April.....or not.

Sorry to be going on about my family. I do love them and I really wouldn't have it any other way. Just wish they lived closer so I can get my granny fix.

So what have I been up to card wise? Above (waaaay above) you will see a card that was made in card class this week. It was simple and basic but quite striking, don't you think? I love creating in neutrals. The only hard part about this card is cutting out the butterfly.

Just think of all the other colors you can use to make this card. I must admit, I went through a big dry spell for a while. I just could not pick up a piece of card stock and make anything! Good think I had a large stash of cards to pick from for all the events in April.

Once again the computer or the internet is giving me quite a bit of agita. Of course, hubby seems to think it is the sites I go to. We'll never know. I may just have to bite the bullit and get a new computer (Yikes! This one is only 10 months old!)

Anyway, hope you keep checking the blog. I will be posting some interesting tips and I have some great new ideas to get product AND get some free classes. Probably will not launch till June but do keep checking.

In the meanwhile, I do hope the weather starts to warm up here and that I will be golfing with my buddies soon. We have been rained out for the past three weeks. I might just have to take a lesson to remember how to hit that silly ball!

Clarification Regarding Retired Items. Please Read!

Clarification on Retiring Products

Please be aware of the following:

UPDATE: Stampin' Up! Paper Snips and Craft & Rubber Scissors are NOT retiring. They were placed on the list but have now been removed.

1. There are MANY stamp sets. In the new catalog ALL stamps will be offered in clear and wood. This means any sets only available in wood are retiring along with the usual set of others.
2. All the Classic Ink Pads are being redesigned. We will still offer the same colors, just in a new and better form. That is why they are all on the retiring accessory list.
3. All the Craft Ink Pads are being retired. We will only carry black and white in the new catalog.
4. All the textured cardstock is being retired. We will no longer offer this option.
5. Much of the 12 by 12 cardstock is being retired. They will be re-packaged with new item numbers that 's why they are on the list.Some colors will be offered in individual color packages. All colors will be available by collection (color family).
6. Stampin' Markers are being re-packaged. Only a few colors will be available individually. The rest will be grouped by collection (color family).
7. The Simply Adorned products are all retiring.
8. Definetly Decorative products are all retiring.
